We decided to take the free class and on day 1 our son walked into class with the form of a wet noodle. Soft, all over the place and seemed out of sorts. However, he enjoyed the class and we decided to continue cautiously. A year later, our son has transformed completely. He is a sold machine who responds to questions, has self discipline, can defend himself from strangers, and has pride in his abilities. All at age 5!! Cru Dan, Cru Brie, and Cru Sebastian are all wonderful with the youth classes and have helped our child grow towards the next stage of his life. In addition to the teachers, the community built with the parents and students is open, welcoming , and supportive. Mayid is truly wonderful.

I feel lucky that right now the group classes still have that intimate feel. That I get some one-on-one time with Coach Alex as he's able to check in on each of us as we work through our partner drills. There's no mirrors. No ego. No judgment. There IS patience, full knowledge of Muay Thai and its traditions, respect and enough tough love to push your edge further and further each class you attend. We consider ourselves a family, at World Muay Thai. Everyone supports each other and makes the class fun. I chose this studio because of a referral from my best friend who's kids compete in tournaments. While my son is slower and less athletic than the other kids his motivation is to keep getting the next level up. I like how the coaches know the kids by name and take the time to instruct with demonstrations and watching them closely while they grapple. I tell my son he doesn't need to win, just keep trying. After a year and a half we are still here twice a week trying our best. He's about to earn his grey and white belt and I'm proud so of him. Thank you to all the coaches for encouraging him to never give up.
