I had an appointment for a 50 minute massage on my birthday. There were several pockets of groups…read morein the ocean view sanctuary room and it was quite loud. I decided to wait in the relaxation area of the dressing room. The massage therapist never showed up for my appointment. Ten minutes after my massage was supposed to start, I checked in with reception to find out what is up. The massage therapist finally found me. She then told me my massage would be less than an hour because she had called my name in the sanctuary area and I did not show up...and assumed I was with the one of the groups. I found her overall tone very off putting and it felt like I was blamed for being late for the appointment when she did not really even try to look for me or call. Thankfully the manager let me reschedule the appointment for the next day at a discounted rate and gave me a complimentary glass of prosecco. I just feel like at a hotel and spa which is so expensive, that guests should be treated respectfully. I will go back, but will make sure it is not to the therapist who was rude to me.

Alisha was so warm and accommodating immediately, and the space is beautiful, clean and calming. Alisha and I chatted throughout my waxing and she's incredibly friendly, interesting and kind while not getting distracted from giving me truly impeccable eyebrows. She was gentle and meticulous and made sure I knew what she was doing and was ok with the direction she was taking with shaping my brows the entire time, which I really appreciated. I have naturally very thick dark eyebrows and they really do make such a difference on my face depending on the shape so I'm particular. Everything was perfect, virtually pain free. A different therapist was assigned without notice, the massage lasted about 50 minutes and was just not good, and the remaining time was a "facial" that was not requested or part of the service purchased and was not a true facial at that.  I contacted the business to resolve it and asked for a refund since the service I paid for was not provided. The owner refused and the phone conversation became unprofessional and he would not let me get a word in and threatened me with a lawyer because I stated I'll be taking this to social media.  I never leave reviews like this but I can't believe that interaction even happened.
