When I think of my experience here, I would say its "ok". It's a small place, but clean. My wife and I booked a couples massage. I spoke to them prior to going and made a reservation. Whoever I spoke with was great. But whatever message that took place was not given over to them at all. This was for the start of my honeymoon. I figured a couples massage to get us relaxed would have been a great start. They were supposed to have chocolates and sparkling cidre for us. In fact when I made the appointment, the person was kind enough to let us know it's chilling and ready for us. I was excited. Then when I got there, I experienced what seems like everyone else did. 2 ladies asked us to pay before they even started. Cash only. It should've been a red flag. But we were there and might have well started. I was expecting the cidre in glasses before the massage. That didn't happen. The first good portion of the massage for whatever reason all happened with a towel over me. I'm not used to having a towel massaged into my back. It was loud and kind of annoying. Regardless, the girls did their business. I think I would've been fine except people kept coming in and talking to them. It is extremely uncomfortable with several people walking in and talking during the time we're supposed to be relaxing. I wasn't happy with that. After the massage, my wife and I got dressed. Upon leaving I thought this was for sure when they would give the cidre and chocolates. What I got was laughable. It was 2 Walmart waters and an old box of gross chocolates. They just handed them to me as we paid our tip. I truly wish my experience was better. If it were, I would've come back again. This isn't something that will make me remember a good experience. This massage was the real deal. I never take the time to write a review about a business. Why I gave it 5 stars, they take last minute appointments and you don't have reserve a week in advance. Yes they do ask for the money up front and I have no problem with it as it does not matter when the bill is paid at the beginning or end. The massage therapist knows what she is doing with each muscle especially for athletes. I have zero problem that they do not speak english as it does not matter because massages are suppose to be silent for relaxation and focus. This is the way massage should be with each section of the body and muscles this includes the stomach. If you want an expensive spa experience with candles, music and an english speaking person talking during the massage go to a local tourist spa in town. read more

My experience here was disturbing at best. No boundaries. Poor draping. Inappropriate areas massaged. The actual young lady massaging me did not speak English and therefore it was difficult to communicate with her. She left the room during the massage with the door open and my backside exposed. read more

This spa is AMAZING. We booked 3 massages for 90 minutes. (2 females and 1 male). They staff was extreme courteous and professional. They take cash up front but realizing resort spas charge $278+ for 50-60 minutes it was fine by us that they do not take credit cards and ask for payment up front. Not a big deal. Also the massagers were AMAZING. Perfect and as professional as any I have ever had. I loved the fact that they keep a towel on us during the massage rather than a LARGE SHEET. TOO MANY MASAGE LOCATIONS ARE HUNG UP ON COVERING EVERY INCH OF YOUR BODY. I guess some customers have hangups with the human body. Again they were very professional and knew Preasure points. We spend 2 weeks in Kennebunk every summer and came upon this shop two summers ago while my boyfriend experienced a series of cluster headaches. For those who don't know what they are, they are massive headaches that come on 2 times a day and are very hard on the body creating massive muscle tension. We found technique massage and went every other day for almost 2 weeks. Every 90 minute deep tissue session is full on massage, no nonsense. They understand the body and what, where and how much pressure to use. Last summer, we were happy to find the same level of service... so much so in our two week stay we went 3 times! This year we had scheduling issues on our end and have only been able to go once .... But would like to point out, the massage is consistently amazing! A month ago I had breast tissue and muscle removed, thought I was recovered, but fell the other day leaving a giant bruise on my butt and swollen tender peck muscle... Apple was careful during the massage but still gave an impressive 90 minute deep tissue and I'm not sure how but she massaged my entire body and it was pain free... yay! It is fair to mention, they are cash only and payment is expected in advance. This should be a non issue, they are worth it and the generous tip you should leave. This is not a "boutique spa" do not expect that, nor do they represent themselves as one. These are professionals who truly have a craft, we are just lucky enough to be part of it! read more

Asked for money upfront,which should have been a red flag.Was just an ok massage, nothing special and felt a tad formulaic. But as I said OK. Left a tip on table. Was waiting for my friend outside. A massage is meant to be a relaxing experience. The people that work here are good at the technical aspects of massage, and the building is clean and functional. It is worth noting that their English language skills are poor, and they likely won't understand specific directions. Sadly, their manners are likewise lacking, for they demanded a tip before one could be offered, and tried to shame my sister for offering a gratuity they felt was too low. A massage is meant to be relaxing, and being the target of such ill manners--by those whose job it is to make one feel better--is a sad drawback of this place that will prevent me from returning. read more

This was the most uncomfortable experience I've had getting a massage. From getting into the salon and the woman demanding we pay up without looking up our appointment to getting placed in a room with nothing but a damp bath towel to cover yourself. The room door remained open, a paper towel was placed around the back of my head and the woman who gave my massage was TAKING CALLS FOR NEW APPOINTMENTS THE ENTIRE TIME. How can that be ok when you're paying for a massage while someone is on the phone the whole time??? One hand was on my back the other on her cell phone while I'm paying for a massage. Lastly other employees were coming IN AND OUT of the room for conversations while I was naked on the bed. By the time I was ready to go I wanted to get out of this shocking experience as fast as possible. The most unrelaxing experience from start to finish. When we got into the building the women demanded we pay up front in cash - I've had a lot of massages and never before have i been asked to pay upfront. Left a bad taste in my mouth. Then taken to a room that was freezing - no relaxing music, no blanket on the massage bed and was given a damp towel to put over my body. I should have just left then but I figured since I already paid I would stay. The women came into the room and didn't ask me anything about the type of massage I wanted, where I wanted to focus on. Nothing. During my massage she removed my underwear without asking me if that was comfortable for me and got on top on the massage table with me - I have never been so stressed and tense during a massage in my life. Also while my butt was out there was a guy that kept walking in and out of the room and the workers kept screaming to each other. Overall it was very uncomfortable, unprofessional and definitely will NOT be coming back here. read more

My boyfriend and I booked a couples massage here and had a terrible experience. Not only did my masseuse have her cell phone ringer on - she left to take a phone call mid massage. The music cut out halfway through, the room was freezing and on our way out they pressured us into tipping them!! Waste of time and money - I left feeling much worse than when I showed up. read more

Their massage techniques were lacking. I made a reservation for an hour and half deep tissue massage for the three of us. Upon arriving, they acted like we were walk-ins and wanted us to pay before our service. I'm not a fan of putting my face in a paper towel with only a bath towel covering my body while being massaged. After the massage I was not satisfied as I had to keep telling her to stop touching my abdomen and other places I wasn't comfortable with her touching. When it was time to pay, I went to give her a tip I thought she deserved and she demanded I give her more of a tip. Amazing they only know how to speak English when it's time to pay!
