I really appreciate how efficient and thorough the staff is when scheduling appointments and during our visits. They are so well staffed that things work like a well oiled machine. One of the best things is being able to get appointments after school so that I don't have to take any time off to get my kids here. The first two appts were just consultation and X-rays so I just figured they would be cordial when treatment started. Don't expect any type of customer service here. No one acknowledges you. No Hello No have a good day! The two girl/ women in front don't even acknowledge when you come in. They have an IPad for patients to check in and wait. It's almost like a fast food joint but for orthodontics. In and out. Today for treatment both me and my husband show up and they say only one parent can sit with the child. So we got to pick and choose? The Dr. barely speaks. The hygienists do most of the leg work. Did not offer dark glasses, had my kid lie right under the bright light until I said something. He kept shaking his head and not being gentle especially when talking to kids. The instructions were not clear on what he wanted her do. Just kept saying breathe through your mouth. While he was attaching the little nubs for the Invisalign. As a Mom I am thinking, "Can you be nicer and give her instructions ahead so she knows what to expect and will ease the anxiety". While sitting next to my kid I was watching other patients come to the center of the room to rinse and spit. Not like the dentists office where you have the rinse and spit station next to you.If I had not paid the initial deposit and my colleague didn't recommend this I probably would have chosen another orthodontist. Hopefully they start caring for patients from the front desk and not just about $$$$. And hoping the treatment is better than their customer service. Fingers crossed. The office is very clean, and the staff are very friendly. The front desk in particular took special care in greeting me and making sure that I felt welcomed every time I came in for an appointment. Dr. Hane and Dr. Kyle were both very attentive to my teeth, and made sure that I was well informed throughout my visits by keeping me updated on my progress.
