Ordered three main courses for two people, but felt like we had three large appetizers. Prices are higher than normal for casual Chinese food. Appetizers starting around 6-7 pound! At least I can say the flavor is there. Because it was tasty and I left wanting more, well with those portions, who wouldn't. The tofu had smooth orange sauce, not at all gooey like you would sometimes see. The shrimp Szechuan had a really good sauce, but again not enough food on my plate. And having to pay 3 pounds for plain rice is not cool. The Singapore noodles had a nice smoked flavor. Top tasty noodles actually. I'm used to getting a mountain of noodles. Not here. Feel like they skimp everywhere. With the third dish being so small, I feel like they sunk to a new lo (mein). The ambiance is quite nice and almost like a venue setting. Very heavy on purple colors. You can only get take-away from here which is made within a very short time. There's a small seating area with magazines on a table and a tv on the wall if you want to occupy yourself while waiting. A young man was at the counter when I came to order food. He was on the phone and being quite rude by ignoring me. An old lady, who was probably the manager, kept on nudging him to finish the call (it was not a customer on the other end of the line) to take my order and when he did he typed something completely different into his computer. I told him to correct the order and be more customer-friendly. He also gave me wrong change, so I reminded him to correct that as well. Apart from that (and I have no problem dealing with such people), the food was well-done and tasted great. The portions were big enough to feel full afterwards and the veggies and meat tasted very good. If you want some fast food and are hungry for Chinese, this place is very nice if you can deal with the person behind the desk. ;)

I found this very disconcerting. Even though the restaurant was empty, when two parties came in after us, the staff decided to seat them all next to us. So what started as as lovely quiet meal became a meal where you felt like you were eating out of each other's laps! We were very disappointed at the end of our meal to find the table next to us being given an all you can eat menu, something which we had not been offered at all. This all you can eat menu was far better value than eating off the al'a carte menu. Parking is not a problem. Side access road outside restaurant and lots of residential streets nearby.
