REALLY good Sichuan food…read more I'm a huge fan of Sichuan food, and it's genuinely hard to find it when I'm craving it - this place is exactly what I wanted. The spice level is perfect (i.e., high, like I had in Chengdu, but without being cloying or offensive). Everything was perfectly cooked and hit the spot. The place isn't particularly fancy, but service is friendly and fast. Can't recommend it enough.

The soup was fun to suck out of the dumpling and there was this fun flipping spoon thing to do afterwards as well - The pacman dumplings were fun - I didn't think they tasted the best but the presentation was delightful - The duck ho fen was amazing - I loved the flavor, the noodles were so chewy and the duck itself was a little dry though. - The bavette fried rice was good- meat still dry - Food came out so fast! great service and nice staff - The place was very fun ambiance-wise and I enjoyed the casual but upscale asian fusion theme - Super reasonably priced! Bad: - The meat was dry in all the dishes we had, too chewy and not juicy enough Overall I enjoyed the experience and would highly recommend!

I would definitely get it again!

It definitely is a good intro for…read morethose who are going to Singapore or want a taste of Singapore. however, if you're from the country, it may not be that impressive. Their flavors for the most part were right, portions are small, and prices are high which contrasts for its norm, since this is street food in Singapore which would cost 3-6$ a plate. Would recommend a more Peranakan decor to make this place feel like Bugis in Singapore. Hainanese chicken rice- good chicken, soup was way too salty that it was nota drinkable at all. Rice was right flavor but wrong texture. Maybe the certain rice can't be found in UK. Seafood Chow fun- I was actually impressed with the chow fun part that charred part and the oily noodles that require high heat and high oil to make it that texture. this dish was good. Would highly recommend it. Chinese leaf- just dressed up Napa cabbage but well done. Salt and pepper shrimp were also not bad The hakkien mee was good but was a little sweeter than what I remembered from Singapore. Overall an ok place- If you've not had Singapore food before this is a good pricy intro to what's ahead.

I looked on reddit and a few people gave some positive reviews on this restaurant. I guided my brother here and we were immediately impressed with the service and how comfortable the environment was when we entered. We ordered a few items to share and it was plenty between the two of us. We have some local favorite items from home that we tried out here, and this restaurant does each of these pieces exceptionally well. Highly recommend to anyone who is in the area looking for a restaurant in Chinatown. The cuisine is southeast Asian and each of these items on the menu tell you where the item is from. There are also pictures on the menu, but they do not do the food justice as the food came out so well prepared and complimented our day in London. I will be sharing with anyone who comes!

We ordered the wings, Singapore seafood noodles and the Mongolian beef. I do wish the dishes or waiter explained what ingredients went into the dish. If I return I Would try the Malaysian crab. The table next to me ordered that and it looked great!

You can tell a lot about a place based on its soup…read more I can't say much about anything other than the soup here, but the pork and shrimp wonton is delicious. I could easily eat a small bowl of this 2-3 times a week. The reason I'm reviewing a soup if because I'm in London for a work trip and one of my students developed pneumonia while we were here. THIS SOUP was the only thing the student could or would keep down for two full days. I finally decided to try it myself, and I can see why: delicate wontons that are perfectly thin, giving way to a succulent bundle of pork and shrimp. The simple green onion garnish on the broth is a perfect herbaceous touch. I've gotten this dish about 3 days in a row, and I'm not ashamed to say tomorrow will likely be Day Four: Judge me. I don't care.

We visited London last fall and this was not on the planned meals list at all lol…read moreWe stayed near here and walked by multiple times a day to get to the tube station and it was always busy, sometimes with a line of Asian ppl out the door. At first I joked that if this were Singapore we'd be lining up by now just bc of the ppl outside and the same must hold true in London. But once I looked at the pictures of the lobster noodles I actually did want to eat here. This is not on any list in particular in eater or whatever. It looks like some random "jiudian" you can find in any street in China tbh but it turned out to be one of my top meals on this vacation of great meals. Glad we snuck it in on our last afternoon in London. The lobster noodles - not to be missed. Everyone at every table ate one. A businessman with a suitcase literally ordered as he walked to his table next to ours, inhaled a huge plate within minutes and left before we even got ours lol... Clearly this dish makes this a destination eatery for many. Iirc you can order a lobster any number of ways and it's just recommended to be served with noodles. I forgot what we chose but it was what we confirmed with the server was the way to go. Another thing that many Asian tables had was ginger scallion chicken. One of my favorite things is a good poached chicken dish, whether cantonese or hainanese. Theirs was an excellent version. One of my favorites. Very chickeny chicken, well balanced with scallion and ginger flavor, perfectly seasoned. No sauce served and no sauce needed. They had to look at my husband and confirm that it's bone in multiple times lol - I imagine this has been an issue for them before. They also have boneless chickens fwiw. Its been a while but we did order a couple apps that are less memorable by now. The whole menu looked great. If you had a bigger group you could try a whole bunch more on top of the lobster noodles, which I wholeheartedly think are worth a stop as a tourist esp if you are already going to be in the area for something else.

Food: I reserved the vegetarian tasting menu. It was very good. Each plate was tasty, but admittedly a little forgetful. I know I enjoyed my meal, but I could not tell you which dish was my favorite. Every thing was well plated and pleasing to the eye though. Service: Service was generally good. I was seated at the bar area, understandable as a solo reservation. However, given how the dishes came out, I didn't have enough space most of the time for the dishes. The servers and such were all nice and knowledgeable. They were trained well. My main server did stand uncomfortably close to me a few times to describe my meal. He also asked pointedly why I chose the vegetarian option that evening. He seemed bothered when I said it was because I was vegetarian. However, even with these minor details, it was still good service overall. TL;DR - a michelin take on Chinese food that was tasty with decent service.
