The salad bar was well stocked with many fresh options and I loved the soup. Tonight's was potato bacon and it was fabulous. All of our sandwiches were good and were well prepared. I had the deluxe fish sandwich, which was huge, hot and tasty. Server was friendly and checked in a number of times during our meal. My friends have a cottage nearby and it's been a go to for them ever since the new owner took over a few years ago.

Again personal preference she doesn't enjoy the skin on, and again - typical bar food quality fried fish. The biggest disappointment was a silent one. My 7 year old loves all hamburgers. He took 3 bites and didn't complain. Or ear more than that .. I tried a bite of the burger and I concurred with his assessment. I left 10% for her efforts. I had driven over 100 miles from UP (Upper Peninsula) Michigan ski hill where multiple lift towers had "Chip's Hamburgers" decals high on chairlift towers. I ended up using bathroom at a gas station and, wanting to be out of car after two hours driving, eating on hood of car. As to the food, the burger was good, not great. I had a double cheeseburger.
