Great experience at this Yestercades. This location was super clean and very well-maintained. All of the machines were working. All console games and accessories were neatly stored in their respective places. In my situation, this was a perfect way to kill an hour with unlimited access to all kinds of games for the reasonable price of about $11. Lots of options including retro arcade cabinets, pinball machines, pool table, DDR machine and a variety of gaming consoles ranging from the old Atari consoles through the modern era (Playstation 5). Lots of cool decor throughout the space. The sole worker on duty that was very efficient and friendly. Convenient location on Main Street with lots of street parking in the area. There are also lots of food options along Main Street...easy way to make a day (of half) of your visit.

Love YESTERcades! This was our first visit at this location & immediately fell in love. First off the staff. Super friendly & helpful. Super grateful that one of the employees noticed my son left his hat behind. Thank you. So many great arcade games. So many great pin ball machines. So many video game consoles with tvs to play. They have a decent amount of snacks & drinks available. The prices of everything is great. I honestly can't say one negative thing about this place. If there was one closer to home I'd be there so often. I'm grateful my wife spoils me & took me here for Father's Day. TWO THUMBS ALL THE WAY UP!

If you were wondering what happened to the old Metuchen Bank space on Main Street after it relocated, this is it! This YESTERcades had its grand opening on February 2 at 4 PM and is the fourth New Jersey location after the Red Bank, Somerville, and Westfield stores. Like the other three locations, this one is open 7 days a week with two pricing tiers: $10+tax per hour or $28+tax for a day pass. Saturday is open for a whopping 14 hours from 10 AM to 2 AM (except during private events). The play format is unlimited free play with no tokens. The BYOB policy permits beer/wine after 8 PM daily.

What a great way to spend a chilly December day. I brought my kiddos to YESTERcades to meet up…read morewith their cousins and to partake in some fun old school arcade games. I've been to the one in Red Bank but never to the Westfield one. It is quite spacious, and even though it was pretty crowded, there was plenty of space to move around and to play every game that you wanted to. The pricing was super reasonable - I got each of my kids wristbands and paid at the end. We were probably there for about an hour and 45 minutes and for both of them it cost me $31.00. Not bad at all. They played so many games - from old school Ninja Turtles, to The Simpsons, to Paper Boy, to duck hunt, to skee ball, to pool, to air hockey, and the coolest Atari pong table I've ever seen - they had SO much fun. The workers were very kind and helpful. They set up one of the consoles for them to play on. They played a little Minecraft (though none of them knew what they were doing). They workers even helped them a little, which was very kind since it was so busy. We will definitely stop by again, it was so much fun, I might even play next time!

I'd definitely go back and try another one of their entertainment activities.

We did two races my teenager could participate in, plus one pro race. In every race, multiple karts stopped partway through, and each time one of us was involved. I understand that issues can happen, but there was absolutely no communication from staff about what was happening or why. The worst moment was watching my child's kart stop on a hill and slide backward down the incline. The same thing had happened to me earlier, but seeing it happen to my child was far more upsetting. It felt unsafe and genuinely scary. On top of that, the whole experience caused me major anxiety. I understand the need for safety, but the silence from staff during repeated stoppages made everything worse. It felt like being stuck in a vacuum with no information, and that lack of communication added so much unnecessary stress. The axe throwing was great, but the go-karting experience left me very uncomfortable because of the safety concerns and poor communication.

I had checked a few other options before he made his request (JJ came to mind but is a bit far for us.) and Jumping Jungle was actually among the more affordable! The staff is great. I can't say enough about how friendly and efficient they are. We were greeted by Christine, the manager, as soon as we came in, and she remembered my son from Snapology, a program run by JJ that he participated in and also really enjoyed. We immediately felt welcomed and put at ease. We got there just before the party started and I was nervous about setting up before guests arrived, but quickly our party's host Dennis came in to introduce himself. When he saw I was quickly taking decorations out he let me know that he and his co-host Samantha would do all the preparations and I could go out and enjoy the party! Literally, they asked for NOTHING, and when we entered the party room everything looked great. Christine was very accommodating when we asked if we could extend the playtime. We knew it might not be possible because it was a last minute ask but she made it happen and the kids had a great time. Even if you have some children who are afraid of getting on the inflatables, there is plenty to do in the arcade section as well. It was nice to have a private party at an affordable rate and the staff there did a great job in making sure the two parties going on were completely separate so that no children got lost. The party room looked great when we arrived to eat. All of the kids were properly hungry and tuckered out from the extension of play-time so they all sat nice. My son was so excited to sit in his "king chair" a big inflatable(?) chair that he sat on while we sang happy birthday. Everyone was very happy with the food as well. The pizza for the kids came with our package and we added on the unlimited drinks, vegetarian rigatoni pasta, and Caesar salad for the adults to enjoy. It was hard to choose what food to select for the party because there were so many options, including Indian food which was sooo tempting if my budget was bigger I surely would have added on too much food, haha! All in all it was a great experience. All of the parents said how fun it was and how impressed they were with the space and how well run everything was. Unfortunately I may not be posting photos for privacy reasons.
