Quick to respond; polite, efficient- had the problem fixed in no time. I called the number around 22:30 after seeing it posted on Google. Russell was dispatched quickly, and fixed the problem even more quickly. The toilet had been overflowing and resisting my attempts to clear it all day, so it was nice to have that fixed. read more

SCAMMERS! Yes took my money before even starting the job and never returned after I gave them $1,700. Only issue with my air conditioner is that it was a little low on Freon. 2lbs to be exact. Fan worked fine and given an estimate for a new fan for $1300 ($189 part) and $320 for a capacitor ($14). I declined this egregious service. read more

Had a yard hydrant installed and the invoice said it would be installed to code. The repair guy dug up the old hydrant and backfilled with heavy clay. This kind of hydrant requires rock or gravel around the weep hole to allow water to escape. The hydrant rusted out after 10 months and had to be replaced. Extremely expensive, not up to code. DO NOT USE THESE GUYS. Attached is a picture of a brand new galvanized yard hydrant completely rusted because of improper installation. read more

SCAMMERS! This company didn't even perform the work and charged me $1,700. I've called several times with no return call.

Don't Use This Company I am extremely disappointed with my experience. I hired this company for a condenser coil cleaning, but the visit quickly turned into a recommendation to replace my entire furnace because the heat exchanger was rusty and "could" crack during a cold winter. I was not shown evidence of an actual crack or other failure. To make matters worse, after the service, my outdoor condenser fan stopped working for a while, even though I wasn't having that issue before the technician came. I don't know whether the two are related, but it left me with even less confidence in the service I received. For the amount I paid, I expected a thorough explanation and confidence that my system had been serviced properly. Instead, I left feeling pressured toward an expensive replacement without clear evidence that it was necessary. I recommend asking for photos, test results, and a second opinion before agreeing to major repairs or replacement. read more

Really horrible service, we had someone from the team come out on Wednesday for a quote for some work. Instead if giving us the quote right then and there the rep said he would email it to us. We never got the email so we called in. YES rep said they messed up on the email address and would send the quote again, this time they sent an invoice with no quote. We called a third time were old we'd have the quote by the end of Thursday night. Never got it. Called Friday morning for a fourth time and were told the quote would be here by Friday afternoon. We called for the last time and the customer service rep said "What do you expect me to do? I'm in Orlando, I can't help you." We never got the quote We're on a time crunch to get this work done and leave town tomorrow. Horrible customer service all around. Would not recommend. Should have looked at these reviews before calling YES. Waste of time read more

YES came out to inspect our air conditioner, which wasn't cooling properly. They told me the coil was leaking oil and said the entire unit needed to be replaced, for $11,000, and claimed it wasn't covered under warranty, even though it was only five years old. Their explanation didn't sit right with me, so I reached out to a company I'd used and trusted in the past (they just weren't available as quickly, which is why I initially called YES). The second company immediately checked and confirmed that our unit was still under warranty. When they came to inspect it, they found no leaks, no issues with the coil or refrigerant, and said the unit simply needed to be cleaned and serviced. They made it clear that YES had misled me, possibly in an attempt to pressure me into an unnecessary replacement. They also mentioned that even if the unit did need replacing (and wasn't under warranty), the total cost should have been closer to $4,000-$5,000, not $11,000. To make matters worse, I spoke with someone else that evening who had almost the exact same experience--quoted $18,000 for a new system by YES, only to get it done for far less with another company. In my opinion, YES appears to use scare tactics and inflated quotes to upsell customers on things they don't need. The technicians may seem friendly, but their practices are deceptive. I highly recommend getting a second opinion before agreeing to any work. read more

So I am getting pretty ticked. I spent 20000+ with your company to add a new furnace and ac unit. While the men were here they busted my glass screen door that worked perfectly. They came and jiuyridge a replacement that worked for a short time. I can't lock my screen it squeaks when I open it and basically is garbage. I have called and left several messages with a promise that Matt would call me back shortly. Shortly was 2 weeks ago. What the hell!! COMPLETE WASTE OF TIME!!! They rescheduled 3 times and still wanted me to reschedule a 4th time! Just got off the phone with the receptionist and she's saying it was only twice. That is a LIE. The first time was early December and THEY scheduled it for Thursday the same week. On that Thursday they called and rescheduled for the following Thursday. The next Wednesday they called and had to reschedule again changed it to January 6th, yesterday. They contacted me in the morning and afternoon to confirm. Less than 5 minutes from me arriving at my house to meet the tech, within 5 minutes of when I told him I would be there, he calls me and tells me he has to leave and we rescheduled AGAIN for today, January 7th. He said more than likely he would be the one that would do the work. I received a confirmation email late last night, on the 6th, confirming the appointment. So I reorganized my life AGAIN. Today... NO calls, NO updates... NOTHING!! I texted the guy no response at all... so I call the number on the confirmation emailS. The lady that answered took forever to check with "dispatch" only to tell me that they would need to reschedule me for a FOURTH TIME!!! I had a bad experience with this company, I called them to help me unclog my drain, a tech showed up and started working on it, he spent some time pushing the plumbing snake through my laundry toilet, afte r a while he got it unclogged and showed me what was stuck in there, everthing starting flowing just normal, then another one of his colleagues showed up and pushed a camera thrugh then told me I had a big problem with my main line, there was an offset in one of the main line sections, showed me the camera image and also the exact place where the problem was which was just outside of my front door, he said i needed to fix this otherwise it would not be 3 days before my drain would clog again, then more colleagues showed up, I asked him for a quote and after he was on the phone with I guess his boss, he came back to me saying it would be 10 000 dollars to fix it, I said I'd call him back...never did, two years after my drain is flowing just fine. read more

I signed up in Home Depot for them to come check out my HVAC system. I was told it was close to needing replacement but definitely needed repair work done. I had a bid done for replacement of both and if was around $32,000! The rep assured me it was due to their superior quality and warranty. When I told him I'd never sign before 1. speaking with my husband first and 2. getting a competing bid, he tried to guilt me into signing immediately anyway. He knew what would happen. The good first: I think they did a good job with the install- when they made a mistake they fixed it the same day. we are happy with our new units, and feel we got a pretty fair price for 2x heating and AC units. The not so good: 1- the bait and switch. A HUGE turn off. I tend to never do business with a company that employs this tactic. I found their sales rep at Home Depot, who told us that if we used them we would get 0% interest through Home Depot. That was definitely what swayed us to use them over another company. However, when they came out to give us the bid, they told us they could not honor 0% interest. Huge frustration! 2- It gets worse, the finance company they use compromised our secure information, and it appears someone INSIDE the finance company committed identity theft against us, opening (or attempting to open) several accounts in our names, and uaing them for ridiculous spending sprees. This has caused us a lot of time trying to undo this damage, and filing a police report. I understand that this wasn't directly Yes' fault, but overall I do not think I would do business with them again- they just aren't careful enough with their policies and financing company. we reached out to them to let them know, and do not feel that they are taking this seriously enough. read more

SKUNKED I am disgruntled to realize I fell for an advertisement for a $29 dollar tuneup and a n advertisement of a $99 video camera Inspection. First guy pulls up in brand new fancy yes man truck and states he didn't have equipment to video my sewer line , shortly after another new truck and Yes Man employee pulls in drive. Then 10 minutes later a third brand new truck and 3rd employee pulls in. Last guy replaced a part on my A/C unit went in crawl space and checked furnace Commented it's near end of life. Later received bill of $421 to replace a simple part on my existing A/C unit Had the gentleman I who always serviced my heating and A/C he actually installed when I built my home 15 years ago. He checked yes man part replacement and said he can get same part for $60. I got dupped because of your advertised $29 tune up, My bad but will never again use Yes Man. This company uses a bait and switch technique to take advantage of people who are in a seemingly desperate situation. I responded to YES Utah Plumbing, because of a coupon which said "$99 for main sewer drain line cleaning". Being a widow on a fixed income it sounded like a good deal. I looked for a statement of terms but found nothing so I called for service. When the technician came he said the $99 was only a discount and gave me three plans. The lowest was $600 including the coupon and senior discount. He spent about thirty minutes and then told me the pipes were so clogged it would be necessary to tear them out of the wall and replace them. I said I needed some time to think about it. He said he could have someone come and give me an estimate. It would probably be several thousand dollars and he wouldn't charge me anything today. (ten minutes later I got an invoice for $600) I called another plumber to get some advice and he said he would come right out. It took him twenty minutes to clear the pipes and check the basement drains. He charged me $300 because it was a Saturday. I would give them a minus rating if that were possible. read more

Contacted another furnace repair firm and was told "no need for a new furnace, existing one can be successfully repaired." Service man did repair and running smoothly now. $300 total! When we told this to Yes Heating, they claimed a third party, not their company, bid the $6000 although the estimator arrived at our house in a Yes Heating truck wearing a Yes Heating uniform. Needed to unclog a slow toilet. The charge was $149.00. I could have bought the same tool at Home Depot for less than that price. It didn't fix it. I sensed the technician was new and inexperienced. There was an additional charge to remove the toilet to fix clog. He assured me that was the best he could do as he could install a new toilet to help water flow. I declined. YES HVAC scammed me out of $2,500. When I had my furnace & air conditioner replaced last year, YES failed to mention that Carrier (both my heater & AC were Carrier brands) was running a promotion that if you replaced both a furnace & an AC system with Carrier products, they would give you a cash rebate of $2,500. YES HVAC simply did not inform me of the company rebate program; instead, they just took the money from me without my knowledge. I eventually found out about the rebate later when I replaced the second full system in our house. Obviously I went with another more transparent/honest company the second go around. When I discussed the situation with YES management (even providing them with the written proof from Carrier Company of the rebate program), I still have heard nothing further from YES. My suggestion is to go with the competition rather than YES HVAC; it cost me a $2,500 rebate, what will they scam you out of? read more

Rescue rooter sequence of events: May 9th, our sewer line backed up into our laundry room. We called Rescue Rooter because we use them in the past and thought they did a good job. They were able to come out that weekend and clear the line enough to get things moving, but they called in their manager because of concerns about roots in our main line. They said they could clear out the roots but it would not do much good because our main line was old clay pipe and was separating and falling apart, highly suggested putting in a new mainline or the problems would continue. For the work they had done to power flush the line and suggested new mainline came to $18,000. Since the house was built in 1948, we had lived here for 20 years, and figured we would be here for years to come, we thought we would go ahead and get the new sewer line rather than deal with potential back ups for the next 10 years. We should have called for a 2nd opinion from AllHours Plumbing, who just installed a furnace air conditioner for us and they were amazing. I will try to shorten my recap. This should have been a four day job. 05/13: They dug up our front lawn to access the sewer line and piled all of the dirt on the rest of our lawn on top of what panels. They said the lawn would be fine and recover quickly, because it'll just be a short time. 05/14 - 05/27: missed appointments, rescheduling, call after call... they finally put in the new liner, inside our old sewer line, on May 28. 06/02: City inspector was scheduled to come out on June 3 and then they said they could backfill the hole. 06/09: After multiple calls and texts, we were promised to have it backfilled on June 10. 06/10: The crew never showed up. 06/11: text from manager " They are still on their project from last night, done in 2 hours and heading to u". No show. 06/12: RR did show and backfill the hole, leaving behind a complete mess and leaving 75% of our lawn dead and the two boxes and the lawn for sewer access points we're insert into the lawn practically sideways. It took me calling and texting until July 7 to get someone to come out to repair the sideways boxes and put in some new sod. Well fixing the boxes they cut the line the electrical line for our street light and then only soldered one small section of that lawn and then just threw some seed on top of the other deadline which has done nothing. It's now July 17 and I'm trying to get someone to come out and repair the electrical line RR cut to our front light and repair the rest of the lawn. We just made our first $280 payment that we will be paying for the next five years for this "wonderful" service. Again, don't ever use these people, call All Hours Plumbing read more

Buyer Beware. This is a national company based out of Memphis Tennessee that takes the con out of con artist. They will come in to unclog a toilet (cost $270.00) then kindly tell you they would be happy scope your whole sewer line for free to make sure it is clear.(they retrieved nothing from our clogged toilet. With a snake the "clog" went right through the main sewer, a fairly clear indication that the sewer line was clear) Stupidly we took them up on the scope...and therein lies the con....They told us main pipe was broken and displaced, even showed us a picture, although we were not sure what we were looking at, we were told that the main sewer would need to be dug up immediately, although we were having no problems.(warning: this is the point where you get a second opinion) On March 27th, the day of the worst record snowfall in Utah's 40 year history, a Cat machine and several men showed up to start digging. They had no idea what was under the snow ( a beautifully landscaped lawn) and drove the Cat all over the lawn to dig their eight foot hole. Remember, there was no emergency! After the snow melted we were left with an eight foot hole, and a landscaped lawn that was totally ripped to pieces by the Cat machine. The hole could not be filled because of the moisture and fear of it sinking. On April 11th they filled the hole with dirt they had dug out and we we're assured they would replant sod and restore the lawn by the manager of the Salt Lake office, who came out and told us they wouldn't leave it until it was as completely restored. On Friday, April 17th at approximately 5 pm the manager called us and told us they were done with our job per terms of our contract with them ( a handwritten 1 page fill in form) or they would seek a lean on our home! This 5 pm threat gave us no time to contact our lawyer or anyone else. The amount: $8,300.00. Pay it now! There is no sod or restoration of our torn up lawn. The dirt in the hole will almost certainly sink(the opinion of the gardening crew who take care of the property) and we are left with a lawn that looks like a cemetery under construction! Stay far away from this company and always do nothing without a second reputable opinion and checking YELP! Their two star review should have been our first clue! read more

Yes! Heating, Air Conditioning, Plumbing, and Electric was exceptionally fast, and professional. The installers, Jon, Brennen and Brent were life savers. Wednesday July 10th, the temperature was 115 in Hurricane Utah, Thursday the temperature was 114 degrees. Our air conditioner came to a screeching (literally) halt on Friday. The temperature at night inside our house was 91 to 93 degrees at 2AM in the morning. Friday, I called one company only to leave a message. Saturday, my wife and I went to Home Depot, they contacted Yes Heating. Before we exited the store Sean was calling us to immediately schedule a estimate. He showed up at our home shortly after we arrived there, he completed an estimate and scheduled an installation for Sunday, the next day. Jon, Brennen and Brent arrived about 8:30 Sunday morning and went to work immediately. They went up into the attic where the temperature had to have been 125-135 degrees, removed the old unit and install the new one. Brennen climbed out of the attic twice and was visibly too hot. Brent installed the outside unit in 114 degrees temperature. The job was completed at about 3pm, they turned on the new a/c and it started to cool the house immediately. Jon, Brennen and Brent are professionals. They knew exactly what to do, came prepared and worked hard in excessive heat until the job was complete. Life Savers! read more

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! Absolutely the worst service received, it was a complete waste of our time and money. We called on a Tuesday and were scheduled for a service member to come the following day. After the appointment time lapsed we got a call saying they needed to reschedule us. They rescheduled for Saturday morning. The plumber was nice, but came in to our home completely unprepared and didn't have any of the tools or supplies he needed which resulted in numerous trips to his truck and home depot over the span of 4 hours. He insisted on cutting our shower wall without any way to repair the hole or any recommendation on who could fix the hole he made. That evening when I went to shower I realized he had left the piping sticking out of the wall a full inch, which meant the bathtub faucet was unstable and difficult to change from bath to shower. It also meant that our shower wasn't usable without leaking water into our wall and causing further damage. I called during business hours that following week and was again assured a team member would be to our home the following day to activate their one year warranty. Again they tech never showed and after the appointment time lapsed we received a call to reschedule to the next day. This happened 3 days in a row, we left work early to be home to greet them and let them in our home and they no showed 3 days in a row. Absolutely ridiculous. Another tech finally came to reassess the problem and decreased the pipe length partially but still did not get the pipe flush again the shower wall. the faucet is now even harder maneuver and barely can transition from bath to shower. He told us to give it 24 hours for the calk to cure, which completely fell off with the first shower 36 hours later. Nevermind we can now see he increased the size of the hole in our shower wall, which was not disclosed to us during the appointment whatsoever. I am still waiting for a call back from accounting as they guarantee your money back if they can't make it right. I would say to service team members and 5 appointments later for a simple shower faucet is more than enough chanced to make it right. Absolutely awful service. read more
