I had them cater my 80's-themed 50th birthday party (yes, gag me with a spoon, I'm 50 now!) and I am still dreaming about that paella. No joke. It was, like, the most delicious thing I've ever had--major yum! Victor was an absolute dream to work with. He sets up a phone meeting a few days before the event to go over literally everything--like which meats, seafood, and special goodies you want in your paella. He made it so easy and chill, I didn't even have to stress. And believe me, I had enough on my plate with planning big hair, neon outfits, and Rubix cube centerpieces! When the day came Victor and his son Lennon (aka the totally profesh and rad sous chef) showed up with props perfectly themed for the party. Like, full-on 80's vibes--it was everything! Not only are they super professional, but they're also super engaging and fun to have around. Now let's talk about the paella--because OMG. Not only did it taste absolutely amazing (like, flavor explosion in every bite), but it was also so beautiful! Seriously, it looked like a work of art. My guests were freaking out over how totally tasty and pretty it was--and then went back for seconds, thirds, and maybe even fourths (no judgment). And, OMG, they made so much food! After my friend & I made a pink and leopard tiki torch haven on the beach we laid out all the food and couldn't help but begin stuffing ourselves & rearranging the food up until everyone arrived. There were shrimp skewers, lime chicken skewers, 2 tubs of hummus and tzaziki, homemade pita chips, grilled veggies, 2 types of pasta salad, the softest pita bread ever, fresh large chunk feta, greek salad w/ the lemon dressing in a closed squirt bottle, 2 clamshells of tortilla roll sandwcihes with roast beef, cheddar, bacon, and avocado, and he threw in berries with mint. We all had no idea how he even made money. It was an incredible deal and the food was all wonderful. Two of my friends & I ate the leftovers for a few days after even. Everyone thought the food was amazing. He even shops at the Santa Monica Farmer's Market for local fresh ingredients. Cute accent, delicious food, professional service, and a very reasonable price.
