In my case, we ran out of ice! They were quick and brought us several bags. Overall I had great experience working with the venue owner, Lupe Milanez! Two of the places I called never returned my request for a quote, one place only had time to book us at 9 pm on a Wednesday for one hour, and one place was much smaller than the Grange for about twice the price. The Grange met all of our requirements for our event. Tara was amazing to work with: super helpful, answered all questions quickly and professionally and made the planning for our event as stress-free as possible. I would definitely book with Tara and the Grange again if I was ever in need of a large space for an event.

But here the new director is working hard to make this the best daycare in the Tri-Cities. She is making positive changes, bringing in skilled and passionate staff, and making hard decisions. I see we still have a ways to go, but if I had to send my kids to daycare this would be it. I almost went under the water with my baby . Also a baby in the class threw up in the pool and not much was done so we left the class early because I didn't feel like it was sanitary that they had us stay in the pool. Also they give the tiny babies little toys and they were chewing on the toys and then they wanted us to have the babies swap toys which I didn't think was sanitary. We didn't feel like there was much instruction or help at all I never really even spoke to the instructor the two classes we did take because she was so busy . It's also in the backyard of Someones house. No signs to point you where to go .We decided to just not attended the last two classes and just take a loss as far as the money we spent.

My daughter had dozens of lessons in Seattle and it was all play and not many skills came out of it. My son did 2 sessions which consists of lessons 5 days a week for half an hour. After 4 weeks he is confident in the water. Skills he's learned are nose bubbles, water bobbing, getting out of the water without steps, and floating. My daughter did one session with Hannah and she has gained so much confidence! She can swim on her own! It's been great to see her progress. She now understands how to breath underwater, dive, and can swim a lap in the deep end! Lessons are held outside at a private residence. The pool is kept clean. There is no overpowering chlorine smell which is nice. There is plenty of seating for parents. There is a restroom accessible for kids/parents that is connected to the house but accessible from outside. They offer mommy and me, preschool, core, and swim team classes. The description of each class is listed on their website and is accurate. Group, semi private, and private lessons.They do have multiple classes at the same time but at no time did I feel like another class was distracting from what my kids were learning. Class sizes are kept small. My son did group and semi private and they were equally great. The prices are very reasonable. Its truly priceless to see your child learning water safety and how to properly swim. I highly recommend!

I was a little apprehensive the first time I went, but Sarah is a terrific teacher & quickly alleviated the anxiety I had about not knowing how to paint! All of the supplies are included in your event fee, so you just show up, sit down & get to painting! Both of the events I attended were at local restaurants, so my friends & I ordered some food (and wine!) to enjoy while we painted! In addition to being a very talented artist, it's obvious Sarah is comfortable working with all types of people! There were over fifteen people in the first party I attended & I was thoroughly impressed with Sarah's ability to instruct such a large group & provide individual assistance to everyone throughout the evening. She has great tips for beginners (like me!) & knows how to fix any type of beginner's boo-boos (like mine!). The Painted Syrah is a Tri-Cities' treasure & Sarah has a gift for making sure everyone takes home a masterpiece & a smile!

COME ON IN, GET YOUR POSTCARDS!!…read morewas looking for picture postcards of the area because this area is overflowing with card-worthy scenes and scenery and this is where I found 'em. some are about the tri-cities and local goings on, some are period pieces, some are just kinda fun or funny. not really sure why postcards are so hard to find around here (or anywhere?) on the front is a better snap than most people will ever take and on the reverse there's usually an interesting bit of about the image on front... and after picking out postcards there's regular cards, playing cards, incenses, desk signs, finger puppets, refrigerator magnets, posters, games, all manner of t-shirts and puzzles, and candies and nostalgic references to the dawn of the nuclear age to amuse people of all ages who get that an entire world existed before they were told otherwise.
