He was definitely not happy to have to put out luggage in his van. We loaded two suitcases upfront with us. We gave him the address that was 4 miles away. His sign said $2.75 per mile but he said $25 flat fee. We agree to the price. On the way to our vehicle he asked why we didn't use a hotel shuttle. He stopped at our vehicle and as he unloaded a couple suitcases I unloaded the others and was placing them in our car. My wife paid him and he started swearing at her about a tip and said to use the shuttle next time. He never put anything in his computer or called in on his radio like I see all other cabs do before they start the route. I am sure he pocketed the money dishonesty to the company he drives for. Never again will we use this company. If I wasn't with I don't know what he would have done to intimidate my wife and kids. This man deserves to be fired immediately!

They literally say nothing to me as the customer, it's a kind of passive aggressiveness. In the meantime they're yapping loudly on the phone in a foreign language. So distracted that they're constantly in need of direction from me, "no no, don't turn here, it's the next light," or "you missed your turn you'll have to turn around." And the reason is of course is the driver is so distracted talking on the phone that they can't even pay attention to their digital map system that is giving them verbal commands. Then we arrive and I thank them pleasantly and I get a grunt in return if I'm lucky. They're the rudest drivers in the city. The company needs to make a policy that the drivers learn how to speak basic English and pay attention to their driving. From now on I reciprocate the rudeness.

A couple times I got charged extra for time as the driver stalled before picking us up or parked blocks away, but I got it back disputing the charge in-app. Upfront pricing makes it infinitely better than the tradition cab model as far as the getting ripped off potential, besides better cars and service. Uber's been more expensive lately though, making it about 20% higher than Lyft on average in Minneapolis. Lyft's app is sketchy however and drivers less reliable.
