This place doesn't even deserve 1 star! DO NOT USE YELLOW CAB IN/AROUND THE CUMBERLAND AREA!! I called a cab around 4:30 and they told me a hour that there's two rides ahead of us!! TWO HOURS PASS (6:30) and I call and they say one ride then it's us!! Then I call white cab (they told me 25 minutes) and they told me they don't understand why yellow cab didn't say anything but they stop riding around 6:00!!!!! I called yellow cab back because I've been out here for ALMOST 3 HOURS FREEZING and THEY SAID "oh there was a curve ball and no your ride isn't coming" then didn't say anything else!!! read more

Do not use this business. I scheduled a pick up at 8:50 yesterday morning. The dispatcher told me it would be 45 minutes. I called at 40 minutes and was told that the cab that was supposed to pick me up didn't. No other explanation was given. The dispatcher would not give me another pick up time estimate. I called Queen City Taxi. They picked up and took me to my destination before I heard back from Yellow Cab. Their drivers were rude except 1 . They show up late even when you schedule a ride for appointments. Some of their cab drivers violates many traffic laws. Many their drivers has road rage. Cab drivers dont show half time , waited out side for 30 min , called cab company to ask how much longer , the driver evidently lied to dispatch said he was in front of same adress. I'm supprised yellow cab is in bussiness with the drivers they hire. read more

I wish I could give this company no stars. We called and were told a 30 minute wait. After almost an hour we called back and were told "should be there any minute". We waited another 20 minutes before calling back and yet the same response "should be there any minute". Well, almost 2 hours waiting, there is no cab. Not to mention, there are only two can companies in the area and no other services (Uber, lyft, etc). We were hesitant to call the other cab company out here because we didn't want to leave one person empty handed, but I wish we would've. I decided to try Yellow Cab because nobody answered when I called Queen City Taxi after ringing and ringing. I called them at 4:15 pm asking for a taxi to pick me up at 4:50 pm after my work shift. I thought 35 minute notice was a reasonable amount of time considering their cab company was only 5 minutes away from where I worked. They said they would be there. I was not told that they could possibly be late. When they had not showed up at 5:10 I decided to call them. I was told "I was next." I then waited until 5:30 to call again when they still had not shown up. I was told they were in the middle of a shift change and that they would be there soon. At 5:45 I called again and still got some line from the man that answered about a shift change. I was left standing in the cold by this cab company. They never did come. Horrible service. I was a regular customer for months, but on multiple times they were extremely late to pick me up. The most recent of these was when the dispatcher sent the taxi to the wrong place despite me telling her exactly where I was, leaving me standing in the rain for forty-five minutes, and when I called them and was quoted a twenty minute wait, and after an hour I called a competitor and had a cab from them there within five minutes. I will definitely never use Yellow Cab again. read more

The last time I used their service, I was told by the large driver's wife/ girlfriend sitting in the front passenger seat "Now get the fuck out" for no good reason other than giving them business. I don't know how the company feels about extra liabilities for having their spouse etc ride along all day/ night but this service is lacking. Sometimes they are open 24/7 and sometimes, they are closed on Sundays or close early due to lack of drivers. Not very dependable. To be fair, there are good drivers and not so good drivers in any cab company but what I experienced was beyond unacceptable. By the way, all taxi cabs in Allegany County are radio dispatched meaning you almost always have to call for a ride (unless they are picking up extra rides at Rose's/ Save-A-Lot and they sometimes don't call it in and pocket the cash as pure profit). read more
