    I had missed a payment on an installment loan and I wanted to see if I could set up a payment plan…read morebecause I was afraid the full amount would be coming out this weekend and I had rent to pay. I could not pay both. I tried calling the Customer Service line twice and got told that I had a two minute wait then was cut off. I did some searching and found the Collections phone number. I was able to get a hold of someone there. After giving the lady my information, I explained what I wanted to do. She said I was 180 days behind and I said "I don't know how. I only missed one payment." Then she wanted to know what amount I wanted to do as a payment plan. I said that I had thought of four payments at $140 and she said my loan was only about $370. Confused at that amount (because what it is showing on my account is more), I asked if I could do three payments. She put me on hold and told me I could do two payments and I said that was fine because I couldn't do the full amount due to my rent. I was also able to move the first payment from this Friday to the 12th of July. I went back and looked at my account and the loan in question to see if I was misreading the information but I'm wasn't. However, I have two current smaller loans which add up to the balance of what the lady on the other line said I was behind on (which I wasn't). I don't mind getting those paid off but these were not the issue I had. I am reluctant to call back because the connection was extremely bad. It was like I was being talked to via speaker phone. There was a lot of background noise and she even asked me to speak up because she couldn't hear me. In my opinion, this is not a very professional way of handling phone calls. I get that there are many phone calls received but that's why those headsets are used in many call centers. I just hope I don't get harassed over this because I tried to do the correct thing and let them know my situation. I cannot control what is done on their end.
