However, I stayed for years because I had an excellent physician, Dr. Luis Gutierrez. Despite the challenges with the clerical side, his care made it worthwhile. After Dr. Gutierrez left the group, I lost confidence in MD Medical Group and decided to change my primary care clinic. Later, I came across the Abrams location and began seeing Dr. Mario. I have to say, he is excellent-very attentive and highly in tune with my individual needs. In addition, the office staff at this location are truly wonderful. At the moment, my medications and prescriptions have been somewhat complicated, especially after having three different doctors within the past year. However, the staff here have been incredibly diligent in helping me sort everything out. Anytime something needs clarification, they address it promptly and efficiently. Every member of the team has been kind and compassionate, which makes a significant difference-especially since the aging process is not always easy. While the office itself may not be as physically comfortable as some other clinics, it is absolutely the staff that set this location apart. For anyone looking for a primary care provider, I highly recommend MD Medical Group - Abrams location. Please note, this review applies specifically to this office and not to other locations within the group. Dr Bradley is well revered among other doctors. At least 5 specialist have had very positive things to say when they find out she is my physician. Because her communication skills are so good, I would recommend her if you have a teenager hesitant to take care of themselves or anyone needing good explanations and followup. When inquiring, He is always up to date on the newest and upcoming studies, recalls, and medications. Experiencing severe back pain and identified as needing surgery. August 19, 2022 Dr. Robert R…read more Bulger (North Central Surgical Center Hospital) did a back injection to relieve pain. It did not last long, so I did another injection on September 2, 2022. After the injection I experienced very severe headache that was unbearable. It began shortly after leaving the Surgical Center. It was so severe that I was in tears and had to rush to Emergency Room. The Emergency staff contacted Dr. Bulger and spoke with them about the procedure. He told them that he did it 'with a Catheter' and caused a puncture that caused a leak. I spent a few hours and was treated with a number of pain relief meds. The headache subsided a to a tolerable level so that I could be released. I was told that I needed a 'Blood Patch' to fix the puncture. I went to do the 'Blood Patch' September 9, 2022. It was performed by Dr. Bulger. Almost daily I continue to experience persistent headaches starting at the upper back of my head, down to my upper back area. I'm not sure how relevant this is, but before my Catheter procedure, Dr. Bulger reviewed my Xrays and told me 'I don't know why you want to do this; it's not going to help. The only thing that's going to help is Back Surgery. He said 'let's just give it a try'. Dr. Bulger billed me a total of $1,065 for the three procedures. I tried to negotiate with him because of the failed surgeries and he never responded. I filed a complaint with the Texas Medical Board, and like so many 'in your face'-- clear cut cases -- they did not take any actions against Dr. Bulger. Margot H

If I could give zero stars I would. I saw Dr. Bulger in 2003. Long time ago. He came highly…read morerecommended (as he also served the Dallas Cowboys...back then) and a friend had seen him for pain. He acknowledged my terrible shoulder pain and that day at noon gave me an injection under light anesthesia using an X-ray guided nerve block in my cervical spine. This was to take the pain out of my shoulders . When I woke up I was in unbelievable pain. They ran me to the ER and did a MRI and it was found that Dr. Bulger had hit a blood vessel in my cervical spine. . I was in incredible pain and was told by my emergency neurosurgeon that I could possibly loose function of all my limbs or die while undergoing a cervical laminectomy caused by Dr. Bulger. I had the emergency surgery and was in a halo for three days and the hospital for six days. Because of his negligence, this has affected my entire life. I ended up in chronic pain and had to leave my job. I became homebound. I was given Disability within 6 weeks because of the amount of therapies, doctors, and drugs it took to keep me comfortable. My neck is always in pain. I am now 72 years old and am still in chronic pain. Dr. Bulger literally took my life away. I am putting this out there now perhaps because I never felt like I got any apologies or even a "how ya doing?" note, letter throughout the years. What is really sad is that he never took responsibility of what he did to me. I'm sure he hasn't forgotten me or my husband. Shame on him .
