I placed an order online and asked to have it delivered on a certain day. I didnt get a delivery confirmation on that day so I called to follow up. I was told that the delivery was attempted but nobody was there. I was asked if it was for a funeral and I replied yes it was the next day. The delivery was eventually made but the message that was supposed to be attached was nowhere to be found so it was unknown who it was from. I expected to get what I paid for and some things fell through the crack. If I didn't call the plant probably would have never been delivered. Attention to detail is key. read more

I had a terrible experience here. I walked in to purchase some flowers, and despite the fact that there were two employees there, absolutely no one acknowledged my presence or offered to help. I looked around to help myself, and many of the plants for sale were wilted and in poor condition. Overall I had a terrible experience and will definitely not be returning. I wish there was the ability to give less than an 1 star for this review. The Manager, John, who missed represented himself as the owner and designer, refused to take accountability for NOT providing flowers for my son's wedding. Despite many conversations between my son, new daughter-in- law and John leading up to the wedding , on the day of the wedding there were NO FLOWERS. The flowers were supposed to be delivered to 2 locations. Yardley Florist was suppose to deliver a bridal bouquet, 6 bridesmaid bouquets, 14 boutonniere and 2 wrist corsages , flower girl basket and pedals, and flowers for special picutures at 11 am. At 11:30, the designer called the bride to tell her that they didn't have the flowers for the wedding.I decided to go over the florist shop, with the maid of honor and my niece. While on the way to the florist, the manager called the bride to say the designer should not have called because they had the flowers and the first phone call was made in error. When i arrived at the florist ( very upset with the bride is in tears, the photographer was ready to take pictures and the wedding ceremony was starting in 3 hours, the maid of honor missed the whole experience of getting hair and makeup done for the wedding with her sister) John insisted he had the flowers in the shop. I asked for him to give me the flowers , to which he said his people were out looking at other florist to get flowers because his shop didn't have them, so he LIED again saying the flowers were in the building. He insisted that the flowers were there but they were not. The designer was working on the bride bouquet when we arrived, she was very upset with situation. The manager, insisted when his "staff" gets back with flowers that they could have everything that was ordered completed. However, his own employee insisted that it was not possible to get all that completed before the wedding by herself. The manager then shared that he DOESN'T know how to arrange flowers so he would be no help to her in getting the order completed. Understandably, now i am very upset. I will admit at this point I lost my temper and was rude to the manager as he kept insisting he was not going to give us 100% refund. He was only offering 20% discount. I feel as though he was trying to take advantage of the situation knowing we didn't even have a bridal bouquet, because first he said he will give us the bouquet and a 20% discount if I signed a "legal paper", to which I refused. When I informed him that we would have the groom ( who is a lawyer ) contact him on Monday and we are were not taking the bridal bouquet ( which still was not finished),the manager decided to change his tune by saying he would give 100% refund and we could take the bridal bouquet for free. He then proceeded to follow us out to the parking lot insisting that he could still have the flowers, at this point we asked him several times to step away from our car so we could leave. With ZERO confidence that he could be trusted to provide ANY flowers and we have already wasted 30 minutes at the shop because he said he HAD the flowers. We left without any flowers. He was very arrogant and rude to me, my niece and the maid of honor. He never showed any remorse for ruining the BRIDE'S experience of preparing for her wedding. Never taking accountability for not putting the event on their work calendar, and no accountability for not ordering the flowers. After reading the other negative reviews, it looks like taking no accountability or responsibility is the normal response. I firmly believe he should have taken responsibility for the situation, told the true that HE forgot to put the event in their calendar, he forgot to order the flower, and immediately offer a 100% discount and provide any flowers that could have been completed. I think the situation would have been handled differently, mistakes happen but to be so arrogant and show no empathy is not how to handle a situation YOU created and it is definitely NOT good customer service. In the end we did find a florist who could get us some flowers so the Bride and Bridesmaid could have bouquets. I highly recommend that you don't use this florist, they may been in business for 100 years but the current manager doesn't know how to manage the business read more

I called this florist from California to order flowers to be delivered to my sister-in-law for her 70th birthday. I was told that a lush bouquet with her favorite yellow lilies and other flowers would cost $200. That seemed very high by California prices, but it was her special day. I was expecting a fabulous arrangement with tons of flowers. This is a photo of what she received. Very underwhelming. For that price, I could have sent her two much nicer bouquets using 1800 or FTD, but I wanted to try and support a local business. I order flowers frequently and know what a "lush" arrangement costs. On top of that, my niece told me the delivery experience was horrible. I had asked for a delivery window the day before, which they were unable to give me. They promised she would be contacted before the delivery. Instead, my niece received a call that said they had left the flowers by a door. My niece ran downstairs and looked all over their complex and couldn't find them. She called back and they went back to wherever they had left them and finally delivered them to the appropriate place. All of this could have been prevented if they had called before delivering the flowers instead of after they had left them and driven off. All in all, I feel like we way overpaid for a bouquet I could have bought here near San Francisco (not a cheap place to live) at our local grocery store for $40. And the delivery was ridiculous. I ordered funeral flowers here because the family was using this florist. A dozen roses in a vase is $60 for small roses and $80 for long stem. I ordered a vase arrangement with 2 hydrangea, a gerber daisy, a couple lilies and some pink tulips. Sounds beautiful- spent $120 plus delivery. The flowers were in nice shape, but I expected the arrangement to have a nicer shape or "arrangement" especially for that price! I just felt this was very expensive for what we got. The woman I initially met with was very friendly and helpful, and the arrangements were beautiful though a bit smaller than I anticipated. That being said, I felt it was overpriced for what I got. My mother was sick last week with a bad cough. I walked in and the lady was so nice and helped me find a bouquet for my mother. She found a beautiful, full and long lasting bouquet of beautiful orange and deep pink roses. (Quite large roses too!) I bought them, and she carefully wrapped them and tied a nice pink bow around them. My mother loved them so much and the roses are on the table in the living room as we speak- still alive and looking as fresh as the day I bought them almost a week ago!
