Ordered from this place for the very first time online to get my mom a BD bouquet and I totally regret it. It arrived looking so different that at first I wasn't sure if they delivered the wrong bouquet. On the website, it had an orange and purple color scheme, which was important and 80% of the reason why I picked it, but they ended up replacing the orange roses with yellow ones and made the whole thing HIDEOUS. My mom was glad to receive it because she always appreciates gifts from me, but I could tell immediately she did not like the color scheme. When I called them to report this and ask if they had any other orange flowers, the staff AND then the manager COULDN'T GIVE A DAMN and they both spoke in a defensive and obnoxious manner. No understanding, no consolation, no accommodation, nothing but coldness. Their vibe was "we got your money, you'll never get it back and you can go die in a ditch". The manager, being the jackass he is, even tried to defend himself by saying they get a lot of calls asking about where the flowers are and when they would be sent - as if that's relevant to my case, and as if that's not a normal part of running a business. I wonder what his point was. I understand certain flowers won't always be in stock, and I, as a first time customer, didn't know they wouldn't contact me regarding substitutions unless I specified it on their website. But they were so obnoxious and callous in the way they talked. They even said they did the bouquet as close as possible though the bouquet's color scheme was completely changed. They have zero aesthetics if they believe they were telling the truth. I'll take my business elsewhere. read more

Great place. We were purchasing an arrangement for my aunt who was sick in a nearby hospital. While there, I mentioned to my wife on the phone, that we were getting flowers. She pointed out that flowers may not be allowed at the hospital and that I should check. I called the hospital and asked and they confirmed flowers would not be allowed. A minute later the flowers were ready and my brother was already paying. I explained the situation to the person helping us and she got help to process the refund. I wish we had been able to get the flowers - it was a nice arrangement. Everyone was friendly and courteous. Will use them again if I am in need and in the area. read more

Great fresh flowers at affordable pricing! Customized what I needed in a timely manner and called me when the order was ready for pick up

Maureen's Flowers is the best florist. No matter how many times I've called them last minute to place an order they've always done an awesome job. Every arrangement lasts for weeks. The girls that work there are great. Always accommodating and do beautiful work. read more

Rude, unprofessional, ignorant, not to be trusted. You would be better picking you own flowers from your garden. They caused me a great deal of embarrassment and did not have the grace to apologize. They tried to bully me and were loud and uncouth. USE AT YOUR OWN RISK ! read more

I have been a customer of Maureen's for many years and continued to patronize the shop even after moving out of state but my last experience will prevent me from returning. I ordered flowers for my daughter's graduation to be delivered prior to her ceremony. I chose an arrangement that included a blue vase to match her university colors. The arrangement was called Beautiful in Blue and included various white flowers in a blue vase. We asked for a yellow ribbon to complete the look. When they were delivered, the vase was clear. There was no blue. I contacted Maureen's Flowers immediately to politely inquire about the mixup. The first individual I spoke to was professional and calm and began to offer a solution using a blue pitcher they had in stock. She put me on hold and another woman picked up the line. The woman was extremely curt and rude. She notified us that the vase was not in stock and hasn't been for weeks. I inquired why I didn't receive a call about this- I would have chosen a different arrangement. She rudely asked what I wanted. I said I wasn't looking for a refund but asked if there was some kind of solution so my daughter's flowers would display the school colors. She snapped, "I'll go over there right now and pick up those flowers and give you your money back!" I calmly responded that was not an appropriate solution. She continued to shout at me despite my even tone. At that point I ended the conversation. There was no apology and no true solution. The unprofessional and aggressive mannerism of the woman was uncalled for and the lack of initial communication regarding not having the vase I ordered was disappointing. I will not be returning to Maureen's Flowers after this encounter. read more

Very accommodating, reasonable prices, professional services, great arrangements, esay to work with and their local deliveries were on time.

Don't know why my review got deleted from the site so ...here's a repeat. Was really embarrassed to see flowers that were sent as a florist choice for 35$ plus $10 delivery charge turned out to be 6 carnations and a piece of greenery! Truly sad is I ordered 2..for 2 separate addresses. Won't do that again! read more

Every time I purchased flowers they were beautiful and the girlfriend always loved them. Always done when I needed and priced reasonably. What more can ask for. Highly recommended. read more

Went there for a corsage and was shown a sample right away. Fast, friendly service. Was very pleased that they made it right away. Price was reasonable and flowers beautiful. My only issue is the decor is awful! Ripped bench by the door, no cushion on wicker bench, carpet needs to be redone. A small amount of TLC and a few dollars would make a big difference. However, it was pointed out to me that they are primarily a delivery business. In the end we were very happy with their corsage and so was the recipient!!! read more

I ordered flowers for a funeral on Thursday 12/20/12, to be delivered on Friday 12/221/12. I was very specific about which flowers to use for the arrangement, which increased the price. I was shocked on Friday morning when I arrived @ the funeral to find the some of the blooms were already very wilted. I took pictures of the arrangement to document the condition. I called that afternoon & explained. They were not concerned & said they were OK when they were delivered @7:30. Once again I explained that @ 9:30 am they had wilted & again no satisfaction from Maureen's. (The arrangement was donated by the family to the Nursing home where the funeral was held & for the residents to enjoy). I was very embarrassed. I think an arrangement should last more than 2 hours, especially when it cost nearly $100. DON'T order from Maureen's NO CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!! read more

I ordered flowers for my father-in-laws funeral and they were absolutely beautiful. I have been ordering from Maureen's for years and have never ever been unhappy. I do not think their prices are any more than anyone else. The girl I spoke to was so helpful thank God since I would have ordered something totally inappropriate. At times like this some of us need a little help. Our flowers were right up with the flowers placed at the top of the coffin since they complemented each other perfecty. Thank you Maureen and I will order from you the next time I need flowers! I've been using Maureen's Flowers for years. They recently outdid themselves when they made several flower arrangements for my brother-in-law's funeral. Not only were the flowers beautiful, they didn't break the bank! I highly recommend Maureen's Flowers! read more

I had a very bad experience with this flower shop because the flowers they put in my planter for my best friends funeral were drooped over and already dead, it looked really bad and I was completely embarrassed. After the luncheon I called them to tell them about this and they said they would credit me $5, what a joke. Then the lady said it was my fault because I didn't want carnations, "really my fault". I took it back because I had spent just over $80 dollars and the owner was a complete jerk!!! Please take note that on there website they do not carry a 100% complete guarantee, I wished I saw that before I placed my order. Plus I wanted to order something else and it was the lady who talked me into the plant instead of the "beautiful heart arrangement", said it was so much bigger. Stay away and give your hard earned money to someone who cares and knows the business!! NO STARS This is from Phila., PA read more
