Once I made my decision, they even encouraged me to place the order online since I mentioned the delivery fee was cheaper, and I just shared the order number with them--so considerate and transparent. After the arrangement was completed, they sent me a photo of the finished basket, which was a lovely touch. I was told my arrangement was the most beautiful one and placed right in the center of the flower display, which honestly made my day. I stopped in yesterday for a dozen roses to celebrate that august moment of committed happiness, and walked out with gorgeous large soft pinks in a clear wrap cone that left a wonderful aroma of rose in my car. In the interim, I was allowed to wander through their shop, including workroom and refrigerated display walk-in, to witness their creativity and large work orders being prepared for major events. I was able to chat with the owners, all part of one extended family, and play a little "Who Do You Know" with them. Turned out, quite a few folks. Not only was I very happy with the overall consumer experience at Newtown Floral, but the object of my affection was delighted with the surprise gift and paid me dividends on my small investment. Let's hope all this good will lasts through the weekend. I highly recommend visiting these good people the next time you need flowers for any occasion. Shopping locally is the only way to go. It's spending money with immediate reward to you.

I haven't seen him in quite some time - not sure if he relocated or left the business - but the new staff doesn't have the same professionalism, kindness or presence that he had. It really makes a difference! I'll keep returning in the hopes that I see him again soon - everything he crafted was so beautiful and I just haven't had the same quality of product or experience since. The place just doesn't seem as taken care of or clean as it was when we used to see him there. I hope he's okay! He truly made this store special.
