My friend and I personally chose the mushroom bacon Swiss burger with potato salad, a side of onion rings, and we got a full pizza bread pan. The food, for being a small business that we have never heard of was actually really yummy. We were skeptical at first when we drove up to the building as it was empty looking; but the lack of restaurants in Garrison, we continued to sit down. I am sure happy that we did. The service was amazing and our waiter was super attentive to us as soon as we walked in. She had our order placed in less than 5 mins and we had our entire meal 10-15 mins later. Skip Dairy Queen and give this local business a try.

Moosetracks, Bunnytracks, Juneberry, Swiss Chocolate. I fell for them all! It was a summer fling for the ages.

Stop in for the treat of a lifetime at Dakota Drug in Stanley, ND! You won't be disappointed. Every…read moretime we are in ND we make a point to stop by and order a world-famous Whirl-Whip! This is the only place in the world which still commercially sells individual orders of ice cream. The pre-cursor to what DQ calls blizzards, the Whirl-a-whip allows you to choose a base ice cream flavor (vanilla, chocolate, or rainbow sherbet), and add up to three "real" flavors (think toppings like a DQ blizzard), and/or hard candy flavors. The result is unique and made-to-order. So delish, and definitely worth the time! Dakota Drug also has a lovely assortment of ND/701 apparel, touristy-type gifts, and lovely farmhouse-country-chic decor for sale, along with your typical drug store variety goods. Friendly service with a smile, you'll appreciate the midwestern-warm welcome you'll receive here!

The owner was happy and helpful, and I could tell that she was working her butt off! -Unlimited toppings. What?! -Unique flavors. My husband and I shared the flavor, "Big Muddy" which was chocolate overload. It was really yummy! There are lots of cool flavors, and the owner told us that she takes requests for ordering new ice cream flavors and toppings. -Free arcade games. So cool that they don't make you pay to play them! Here's what could be improved: -The space felt a little dingy. It still has cool seating and a unique feel, though, so don't let that deter you from coming here! -There were two sizes of cups sitting on the counter, but when I told the owner I wanted the small size, she said they don't sell that size. I was confused why they had that size of cup sitting out if they wouldn't sell it. Oh well! Magic City Sweets seems like the kind of place I wish existed when I was younger! It has such a cool feel that's unique to Minot, and the service couldn't be better. Go give it a try! And don't forget to try the Big Muddy flavor. (;
