The YDI in YDI Wool Warehouse stands for Youth Development Incorporated.
Their slogan is Developing Lives.
The group was founded in 1971, and it a charitable non-profit, whose mission is:
"To work with our community to create and effectively implement a results-based continuum of services assuring that children, youth, and families achieve their full potential."
Housed in the historic Wool Warehouse, the space has been renovated into a multitude of venues including a 420-seat auditorium, banquet area and separate meeting rooms.
The local late-night TV show, The After After Party with stand-up comedian and actor Steven Michael Quezada, which is patterned after late-night talk shows like The David Letterman Show and The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, and features local celebrities, including Breaking Bad's Bryan Cranston and Aaron Paul, is taped at the Wool Warehouse, and as of this writing is closing in on its 100 episode.
The house band for the show is funk band and Universal recording artist, The James Douglas Show.
From what I've been told, thought haven't confirmed, Quezada's show helps YDI with hands-on production training, along with film production classes.
The Wool Warehouse is a solid venue and YDI seems like a worthy cause. read more
