My wife and I stopped in on our first day and were warmly greeted by Ivy, one of the employees, who was EXTREMELY knowledgable about local PR artists, and showed us some amazing pieces. They also have very nice silver and locally produced jewelry pieces. We returned on our second day and had the pleasure of meeting the owner, and decided on purchasing two pieces by a more renowned Puerto Rican artist, and received an amazing price. My wife then saw a third piece that she loved, and we received a package price that was too good to refuse! Price included shipping, and we were treated with great kindness. The second day was when the island wide power outage was occurring, and they were still able to conduct business using cellular devices. Yesterday afternoon we received a call from Ivy to verify our home address, and THIS afternoon, all three paintings arrived (including the oversized framed 30"x40" oil) via USPS PRIORITY EXPRESS! Now, THAT is truly amazing customer service! We would have been happy with regular shipping! Galeria Exodo is TRULY a GREAT place to see locally produced Puerto Rican art, and obtain wonderful pieces for your own home. Would recommend them to ALL who visit Old town San Juan!

They have all kinds of pieces from historical, still life, traditional daily life to abstract. We loved their pieces and the prices are reasonable. Be ready to haggle on prices, they were comfortable with the haggle. Overall our first time visiting this location and we liked our experience. You can get something super affordable as a keepsake as well as original works of art.

Due to budget constraints from the recovery effort of Maria there are currently only 2 official tour guides in the town of Poncé to cover their four museums. This means that 2-3 of them are closed most of the days to save on operating costs. 2. If you want to visit any of the museums in Poncé it would be wise to call ahead and setup a time and day so you can be sure that their is a guide available to let you in, show you around and give you a good tour. Also, there isn't any A/c so be sure to wear cool clothing and bring a rag or fan to help you stay cool in the summer months. 3. The Music Museum in Poncé is terrific and, if you are fortunate enough to land Mr. Rodriguez as your guide, you will be truly edifies by the boys of knowledge he will share with you. 4. Be certain to stay to the end of the tour where you will get to see (IMO) the finest collection of PR Quatros assembled in one room by the foremost artist and PR craftsman Carmelo Martéll. 5. If you can, ask to see the courtyard. It is amazing and they would like to start utilizing it fore music events and play productions. -Don't walk through the ground brush though, it has tons of sticky burs. However, you may find a mango or passion fruit if yer lucky. We considered this the "gift shop".
