So we never knew this place was even here because there is no sign upfront and it's never been listed on yelp but this place is the kind of gastro experience that you would enjoy in a major US city. It's right off Plaza Colon and if you look inside you can tell it has a lot of class and attention to detail.
Living in Puerto Rico, every restaurant has the same fare it seems. This place is truly unique so it's definitely worth traveling to get here.
The menu has a combination of Chinese, Japanese and Korean cuisine with the chefs own flare for combining really interesting flavors. We started with the goat cheese balls drizzled with honey. Amazing dish.
If you want sushi, they have amazing creations here (next time I'm going for the dragon lobster roll), but there were so many options I had to choose only one entree. I went for the red curry with charrasco and my wife ordered the pad thai. Mind you we've had "pad thai" in mayaguez before but it wasn't real pad thai. This place has the real deal.
The attention to detail from the Saki warming pots to the presentation of the food you won't believe the elegance of this place. And of course, the service was exceptional. This definitely is one of our new favorite places to eat in mayaguez.
