Dr Dickinson has been my saving grace since having a disabled son 2 years ago. i always get an appointment immediately, and if she isn't available then Dr Lauer will see us. they are both amazing and treat my lil man amazing. they call and follow up, they go above and beyond to make sure that we are BOTH doing well, and i can honestly say that Dr Dickinson has helped me regain some trust in doctors after my awful birthing experience. read more

The one star I have to give this place I'll credit towards Dr. Burns as we enjoyed our experience with her over the last 4+ years. Dr. Lauer misdiagnosed our child, I'd avoid his care. And definitely avoid Dr. Costello--while she may have the credentials, she lacks people skills and fails to listen or act on the needs of her patients. Her neglect led our family to leave this practice. Phone wait times are always lengthy... and the front desk could use some happy pills. Do yourself a favor, and look elsewhere! read more

I am so fed up with this office. The phones barely work, it's either hours of straight busy tone or endless rings for 7-10 minutes. Only a few good doctors. Dr. Burns has missed a diagnose 3 different times on my child and everytime we have to go back a 2nd visit another doctor catches it and says " it wasn't missed, it just developed over night" 3 different times though? Most of the receptionist are rude and act like they're being bothered when you call. I am ready to search for a new office. read more

In a relatively short time I've had to bring my kids here for all sorts of check ups and visits. I absolutely love the doctors here. They are friendly, down to earth and easy to reach, even after hours. It's also very easy to make appointments, even on short notice. Same day... no problem! I honestly can't say enough good things about Yardley Pediatrics. From the front office to the nurses and doctors, they've all been welcoming and helpful since my sons first appointment. Dr. Lauer has been our main pediatrician and he is a delight. He's patient and answers any questions I have, and is always thorough with his check ups. Dr. Sarah Burns has been my daughter's doctor since birth (she's three now). Dr. Burns is awesome. Caring, gentle, calm, thorough- we love her! Our only complaint has been with one nurse who was VERY impatient with us and our inability to hold down our struggling 18 month old for a shot! Our daughter was then too upset for Dr. Burns to properly examine her. Since then I've requested shots be given AFTER the exam (and we've not seen that nurse again, so who knows?) It is a big combined practice, so there are the typical pitfalls in the auxiliary staff not knowing you, but they all have treated us well. Even if they didn't, I'd put up with it to keep Dr. Burns as our doctor- she's worth it! read more

Dr. Lubell recently pierced my daughter's ears. It was an easy process and my daughter was unfazed. Thank you for the great job, which I could feel at ease about. Update- my daughter kept losing one of the earring backs from the piercing earrings. I called the office and inquired about getting an extra back because this time I could not locate the original. They told me to come in and when I got there they gave me a whole set of earrings identical to my daughter's, not just the back, and said no charge. I was so impressed with the kindness. Thank you. We made an appointment a week in advance. When we got there the said that they had to cancel the appointment because our child is now over 21. The never bothered to call us to let us know before we got there. Over the years this office has got very busy. The office staff seems to be short handed. read more

I was bringing my daughter into their office directly from her daycare after calling ahead to confirm they could take us for a sick visit. knowing I was on my way they locked their doors for lunch and the service was put on when I arrived. I had the service call into the office as I stood at the front door to get someone to open the door for our appointment but they told me the office won't open again until they were done lunch and if I am not able to wait that I should go to the hospital. She had a 103deg temp, her face was ash grey with uncontrolled vomiting. All of which I told them as I was driving over but they still locked us out so took her to the hospital where she stayed until after midnight on IV fluids. She was 30 minutes away from being transferred going to St Chris for critical care because she couldn't hold down anything. This practice will over prescribed and purposefully drag out return visits to maximize billing. Don't ever take you child to Yardley Pediatrics. read more

We had wonderful nurses all through the stay at St Mary . Just wanted to give any new mommies a heads up. We choose yardley pediatrics for the baby's the doctor. they sent Dr Miller from yardley pediatrics, he had nothing to do with the delivery, thank God . Well mr miller when asked would not talk to us about spacing out the babies shots. Jim said to him we are concerned about giving him a whole lot of vaccines at once we would prefer to space them out. Dr. Miller responded then you should find another office to go to. He had no interest in our concerns no compassion. He said his practice is regimented. Did not even check the baby and write a report knowing we were leaving the hospital that afternoon he just said find another practice and left. Stay far far away from what we call a drug pushing doctor! read more

The doctors are wonderful and quickly diagnose any problems or concerns. Highly recommend for newborns and young children.

You may find this office suitable if you are looking for a drive-through facility operated by jaded employees who appear to feel upset that this is where they reside in life and you have never experienced the slightest level of customer service, pleasantry, or attentive care. I have optimistically returned now 5 times for the first 6 months of my daughter's life - enough is enough. Let's start with the administrative staff when you walk in. They (4-5 cackling women) will literally make every effort to ignore you. You can smile at them, stand at the window - your sweet baby might even coo and giggle at them. You may get lucky and get a finger pointed to the clipboard where you're expected to fill out a sticky tab to tell them you're there. Upon taking a seat, you'll observe them do this to everyone else who walks in. When they pause conversation (which is never medal or administrative related) to check the clipboard, they will call your name to the window as though you are standing in line for food stamps (Your daughter's name will sound something like: "NEEEEEEEXT"). Once payment is remitted, you'll wait, only to see a nurse appear through the door with the SAME ATTITUDE AND DISGUSTED TONE! When you do get back to the visiting room, the nurse, who will never make eye contact, directs you robotically, "undress and place on the table. Place on the weigh scale. Hold here. Thanks. Doctor will be in." And the doctors aren't all that much better. Talk about a shitty experience. But wait. You get one more chance to experience the awful staff on your way out! You'll have to interrupt thier conversation to request your follow-on appointment too. Thanks bye. AND WAIT!!!! Because you're a parent to a child, don't think the fun stops when you leave the office. Good luck trying to get them on the phone. You will always be routed through a third-party answering service that knows absolutely nothing about the medical field or condition of your children. They are unable to provide personal contact with a doctor (or nurse) or context. They will ask if you want to leave a message if you call at any time: before 9 am, between 12 and 2, after 4pm. And if you have an emergency outside of these hours? Better call 911, because you won't get a response from their on-call doctor for at least three hours after you request a call-back. read more

Every time I call to get a sick appointment, I feel that they accommodate what day it time frame I need. I would definitely recommend this office to all my friends. I was referred to this office after going to "We Care Pediatrics" for a short but horrendous period of time. I love Dr. Burns, I have two kids (8 years old and 8 months old) both of my kids are comfortable with Dr. Burns. Dr. Burns is very attentive and helpful with all of my questions. My 8 month old was sick recently, the doctor made sure that she reviewed all of my babys discharge papers with me and explained how she may have gotten sick in the first place. My kids will stay at this practice until they age out. read more

Took my daughter due to a bad cough. Signed her in. Realized I signed at bottom when a little note stuck to the board said "please sign the top". I chuckled and apologized to the young lady and told her I work crazy hours and didn't sleep yet today. She said it was fine. The older woman with short reddish brown hair and brown scrubs came over to place the board back and said, quote loudly, "If one more idiot signs at the bottom, I'm gonna lose it." REALLY BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE on her part. Doctors here are great but, as a customer service specialist, I know that your front office will make or break your practice. read more

I was saddened to read some of the more negative reviews, because I disagree with them. To me it looks like the negativity was primarily a result of waiting or office personnel issues, which I can agree can be annoying. However, when it comes to real emergencies this office should get an A+ review. A few years ago I was three hours away in a rural community and my child was having tummy issues. I called the office and Dr. Miller called me right back. He told me to go to the hospital, because he suspected something more serious and he was 100% correct. Dr. Miller 3 hours away was in communication with me and the hospital there. It was a weekend, but he was easily accessible. He didn't agree with the small town incompetent doctor and had my son transferred to our amazing Philly hospitals. Thankfully, my little boy was fine and it all worked out. My point is that when it was something serious, the staff at Yardley Pediatrics was incredible and at the end of the day that is when I need them. read more
