We had some rotted boards they replaced and then we realized our deck was warping and luckily they realized our 2 main 6"x6" posts had rotted. They replaced those beams with 8"x8" beams which leveled out our deck before anything catastrophic happened. Perfect job. Then we had them finish 3 unfinished rooms in our cellar. They sheet rocked the walls and ceiling and painted and put up mouldings and installed flooring. This looks beautiful and has really added value to our home. Alex and Jacob worked long and hard on all these projects over a few months. They really know what they were doing. We would HIGHLY recommend Appalachian Construction and Handyman.

On the plus side, his company (Names used are: HRock Construction; Waterproofing; Timber Design; etc. and PE Construction) was able to paint our house/clean and stain our deck in the time frame that I needed the work done. This is very hard to get in the high country. I cannot get them to finish and it is very frustrating. In addition, the deck stain will need to be redone. If you choose this company, I would work closely with Tony and pick your own paint. The deck stain used did not adhere properly and I studied the reviews to learn that it is a stain--not an inexpensive stain--with a bad reputation. Next time, I will choose the specific paint and stain used. I wish I could leave a good review, but I cannot.
