I also had him strip and repaint the trim around the side door into my garage (while doing that he also removed some dry rot and sealed everything to prevent any issues in the future). Scheduling was a little rocky due to the snow and weather, but I didn't mind at all because the work was high quality and I'm exceptionally happy with the final product I got! Would happily hire him again in the future!

Before I could even enjoy my shower the tile walls started cracking. There was a big hole in one tile that had been filled in with grout to hide. The tiles on the bathroom floors started coming up immediately. There were so many things wrong. I eventually had to hire another contractor to come in and demo EVERYTHING that Joe had done, and redo my entire bathroom again. When the new contractor took out the shower, we found that the pipes had cuts in them and Joe had just covered them up. Everything that Joe did had to be replaced because of the poor installation. I paid him over 28k, and I paid for most of the materials myself. He is very dishonest, and made promises that he NEVER intended to keep. He said he would call me to schedule a meeting to talk about a refund, and he hasn't returned any of my calls, emails or text. if you are considering him for a job, DON'T!!!!! He and his workers who are not licensed, scratched my laminate flooring in 3 rooms. Unfortunately my flooring is no longer available so the rooms would need to be completely replaced. He said he could fix the scratches, but he hasn't. He has no regard for personal property.

Update (From July 2018 - update added in November because I forgot until now)…read more We had Bryan and the crew come and add a pergola. Updated pictures attached. Love it! Update (11/27/18) I emailed Bryan, the owner of CDG, with a question about impervious surface area last night (our HOA messed up on something and it could have been very bad for us). Bryan called me within 30 seconds to talk me through my concerns and provided all of the information I needed. Everything is going to be fine, but it's been over a year since they did the work and I still got that "new customer" service!!

Once a design has been agreed upon, CDG works on your behalf to ensure all permits, zoning , easements and more are adhered to. The CDG goes far and above on the quality of their work. They are not only on-time, but early, work hard to complete the project in a timely manner while maintaining the highest quality possible. Brian ensure the job is done right and works with the customer to fix any issues that pop up after the fact! I am extremely pleased with my pergola , paver patio, fire pit and new landscaping. I would use Bryan and the CDG for any outdoor project and certainly recommend them to anyone looking .

They did a major renovation for us in late 2016 (including new kitchen, taking walls down in an upstairs bedroom to make it an open space, installing installing railings, painting and more), and have followed up with several additional projects over the years - a new deck and patio with fire pit (2018), master bathroom renovation (2019) and installation of interior doors to add separation for an additional office space (2020). All of the work looks just as good today as when it was newly completed. Jonathan closely supervises everything that's done to ensures that it is a consistently high quality at a very reasonable price point. If we need to do additional work on the house, I won't even bother looking elsewhere - Jonathan is reliable, does great work, is flexible to accommodate changes and requests along the way, and is really just a pleasure to work with. I would recommend him for any home renovation project!

I searched YELP for some of their best recommended people for this job, and I was fortunate to find Terrance. I sent my request out to 6 different companies and besides being very quick to answer my reply back, he was also the most affordable! I knew the job would only take an expert an hour to do, and they do have their minimums, but having people quote me at prices of over the cost of the actual table purchase is insane! Luckily, Terrance was a man who has fair prices and does extraordinary work. He arrived to my apartment on time, brought all his tools and made the table very quickly. Pointed out some areas that he did to reinforce it as well. His employees are so nice and very trustworthy. I love my new Kitchen, bathrooms and floors. I highly recommend him for a remodeling job. Thank you again Sam for working with us.

1 word, HORRENDOUS!!!!!…read more Sam Macdougall is not an experienced builder even though he portrays himself as one. His work was so below par it was stupefying. I could turn the 2x4's of the framing 360 degrees with my bare hands, tresses did not match each other, the garage opening was only 7.25' wide, and the list goes on. We finally had to sue him for our $50,000 because we could not find another construction company willing to take over the job; each said the previous work would have to be demolished and a whole new structure built. We sued him and his father-in-law paid his debt. Come to find out this was the SECOND 'mistake' his father-in-law had resolved. I just wish there was some way of putting this type of builder out of business for good! DO NOT USE SANDERSON CONSTRUCTION!

We had a few meetings to review the design, but it was never very detailed and so I was always uneasy. He was always very sporadic with responding to you. We finally heard that we were "next." After multiple messages, he said that he could start on our porch in two weeks. We had some delays with our survey, but he said that he could still start the following week. We always had to text or call repeatedly to maybe get a message back. We waited and waited. No responses. Multiple texts and calls. Nothing. We waited 10 more weeks and then finally walked and got another round of estimates. Honestly, I'm so happy that we are working with another contractor. Because we actually sat down and talked about the design in lots of detail a few times, it evolved for the better and I feel much more at ease going in knowing exactly what we are getting. So I have no remorse not working with Travis but was so frustrating that he dragged us down a long road, only to completely ghost us.
