They have so many different things from herbs to candles to books to tarot decks to crystals, etc etc. High quality items that are priced fairly. I was especially impressed with their wide variety of herbs. I especially loved their house made candles. I purchased some herbs and candles. The owner was there and checked us out. And she even offered to cleanse and dress my jar candle for me for free. Which was such a lovely touch. The staff was so warm and welcoming. Now that I've seen how fantastic this shop is, I am going to be a regular customer. Black owned, LGBT+ safe

He loved a smell from another candle place but refused to return because how strong the smell was. When we walked in we were greeted and asked what we were looking for. The gentleman that assisted us immediately found a couple candles, which would have been enough, but he also brought us to a table in which they had a new scent. The scent was perfect. They had not yet named it so they were nice enough to print us a custom label. There was also a young man there starting his own line of body butters and scrubs, TMOORE CREATIONS. It was not difficult to support this young entrepreneur as there were a few different scents and we ended up getting the cotton candy scrub. We also made sure to scan their QR to keep updated because the entire experience was great. Oh and I even found out they do candle making parties. If you are looking for a way to get people together for a custome event, think of this.

My friend and I then browsed the store (hey, the coupon is how they get you in, but it's a good marketing strategy) and found that this is much more than a greeting card shop. My friend purchased a cute garden flag, they some nice choices. Need a nice gift for someone? This store has a great selection of mugs, stationery, jewelry, figurines, toys, collectibles, candles, scarves, ornaments, gourmet candy and more. It's well stocked with gift bags and wrapping too. (The gift wrap was a little high priced, I usually get mine at the dollar store). Hallmark is well, the hallmark of the greeting card industry. They set their standards high and this store definitely lives up to that name. It has my stamp of approval. The additional items we bought were 20% off with my coupon (this is how we do it!) so we felt satisfied with our visit! The cashier

It was cool... Having attended a few candle-making classes before at other businesses, it was…read moredifficult not to compare this experience to prior ones. The bar was previously set and unfortunately Wick & Sip didn't fully meet it. More scent variety would have been great. It was also nearly impossible to smell the fragrances from the samples, so you had to reference the full supply bottles to get a worthwhile whiff. Luckily my class was relatively small, but even so, getting the chance to smell certain scents was cumbersome once they were claimed by others (again, you had to use the full bottles because the smaller samples were too faint). I didn't mind the selection of drinks, but please keep in mind that they come with the purchase so don't expect huge portions. Also, both times, the gentleman poured noticeably larger amounts for my guest compared to mine. No big deal given that these aren't top shelf drinks, but it was just weird and seemed intentional. It's downtown so parking can be frustrating, but fortunately I went at the right time and managed to park in front of the establishment. I would definitely go again if invited by someone, but I would first consider other similar businesses if it's an outing that I plan myself or just feel like making candles as a solo activity.
