While I am not the best judge about the clothing options (due to lack of any actual children), this place was very attractively laid out and clearly priced. The staff members were polite and offered to help us if we needed anything. The location even had plenty of parking outside, which is a quick way to please me, anyway. Prices were a bit on the high side for some items, though you're bound to find that at specialty stores. If I were of the parent variety, I would definitely come here to do my shopping. Overall: 4.0 stars ---------- Pros: - Conveniently located at Willow Lawn. - Lots of parking available. - The variety of clothing items is impressive. - The layout of the store is easy to navigate and very attractive. Cons: - Prices run pretty high for many of the items here.

My daughters winter wardrobe was all from their store. They also have nice stuff (hats), but unfortunately they do not have fitting rooms which kind of sucks. But I don't really mind it that much because it's very close to me, so whatever does not fit on my daughter I can just simply go back and return or exchange. Their little clearance boxes have amazing deals, and really really really cute things. The little girl section is the cutest, I even love their boys clothes. And everyone knows that boys clothes are not that cute. But they have a A pretty large selection for them.

There was not one thing I would put on my body and it seems as if the buyers were trying to find the most unflattering dresses possible. Who is their target customer? While price isn't an issue for me, I didn't bother to look at the prices because I didn't like anything. I guess if you pay $500 for an ugly dress, the price makes it less ugly? On the bright side, their new location across the street on Grove is spacious and inviting. I've often wondered why they don't put a sign up with the name of their store. I guess they have dedicated clientele who don't need a sign. I walk by the store every day, but will not be back.

Several alterations places couldn't do anything and I was freaking out because I had waited too long to order new ones (not Alton Lanes fault, my own). I walk in and explain my situation. Yeah that's right, expensive custom suits from China. We are still waiting to see if it will arrive in time for my wedding but it was like pulling teeth to get them to purchase a back up suit and tailor it just in case the Alton lane suit does not arrive in time. My other groomsman went to the Charlottesville location and they gave him a pick up date after they had to make last minute alterations and 11 days later they said it still wasn't ready. Not happy with the service and honestly I feel like their suit quality has gone down over the years. Update: the suit arrived in time but my groomsman was never able to try it on before my wedding and Alton lane never gave him the back up suit they said he could keep in case their's wasn't fitting correctly. Located at River Road, they used to be on the other side of the shopping center and they just moved here. Went here on a Sunday and they open at 12pm. They did a wonderful job creating this store. It's so cute! they even have a little seating area on the front of store! When we first come in my sister and I got greeted right away. You will see the new release and on the corner there is another seating area. It just feels so welcoming when you first enter the store. Employees are super friendly and helpful! They made sure that my sister and I are being helped and they even showed us different version of the dress that I was looking for! We will definitely be back at this store!

The pro on duty, Maya, put us at ease with her friendly manner of explaining everything and giving my daughter choices, "do you want me to count down from three or just do it?" I love that! My daughter went with, "just do it". ... all of us were wearing face coverings but it was clear Maya was smiling at my daughter and my daughter was smiling back when the earrings went in. My daughter blinked but didn't even full-body flinch, as the piercing cartridge clicked. Of course she was super excited about this right of passage, but she wasn't scared; Maya's gentle handling of the process had her relaxed and calm. Even tho they do multiple piercing every day, it still felt special to me and my daughter, and it was so sweet how Maya congratulated her on doing great in the chair. This review is to let Maya know she did a great job, too!!! ... Instructions on after care were fully explained and seem manageable enough for my daughter to mostly handle on her own. She said that after the initial "pinch" it really doesn't hurt at all. She slept well with her new piercings and everything looks great today. The only time there is a slight stinging sensation, according to my daughter, is when the cleaning solution first hits her ear lobe. Other than that it's painless! And the earrings look so cute!
