Furniture would be great if, 1. It was primed and painted properly to withstand time and very slight scuffing but alas, not only does the paint scratch off easily, it's not even coated enough to cover the previous finish in obvious spots, like when you pull out a drawer you can see that the entire top edge and side edge of the drawer looks to have one coat of paint over non-prepped original stain. I found it was very half-hurried painting. When I mentioned this to one of the people working there, they said "oh, well we will be happy to paint the areas we missed". How about you do it right the first time, especially for what they're charging. 2. Everything is painted white, it would be nice to see other colors, muted blues, muted greens, gray, black. Conclusion: you're better off buying furniture off Facebook marketplace and refinishing it yourself. You'll save money and if you do it correctly you'll have a beautiful piece that will stand the test of time. If you're going to do something, do it right the first time, don't just slap some paint onto furniture like the people selling at LaBelle and Co. obviously do, that hasn't been properly cleaned, deglossed, sanded and primed. read more

Merchandise looks great online.... finally got to the store on a weekday thinking it would be safer and the staff was wearing masks on their chins or not wearing masks at all. I want to support local businesses 100% during this time- but not ones that can't follow basic guidelines. read more

If you love the "old stuff", this place is for you! A lot of Labelle's furniture is bought at estate sales and online, then the talented staff prep, paint/stain and refinish the pieces. The results are absolutely beautiful! The staff is friendly and helpful. Every time I have been in there they are painting and varnishing a new piece. A reviewer complained about the staff's masks falling below their noses. Maybe the fumes got to them--? If you are in that much fear for your life, best to just stay home. read more

This is a super cute (mostly) furniture store in the rustic/French Country/farmhouse style. They describe it as "upcycled," so I assume they're old things made new again. Some really cute pieces. My impression is that this is the kind of place that you'd have to keep your eyes on and once in every blue moon, you'd find something that you'd actually want to buy. read more

What an awesome place to shop if you are into the upcycled farmhouse country shabby chic style. Quite spacious inside with lots of big furniture pieces nicely displayed but also small decor items as well. Love that they also sell several types of paints and brushes. I had been riding around all day trying to find a small white table for my kitchen with NO luck. My fiancé works right across the street from a store similar to this one. He went in and inquired about a table and mentioned I was coming to labelle to also look for a table. The women told him labelle was their competition and we wouldn't find anything in there for less than 800 but she has one for 500. I went in labelle anyways and there was a beautiful white round table just like I was looking for and it was only 300 with chairs!!!! The ladies at labelle were so nice, knowledgeable and made me feel that they really did care about me and what I wanted. They offered to paint the top (which was wooden) white for me and I just had to buy the paint. I think this is a wonderful store and the staff are amazing! Would recommend to anyone!!! read more

Really fun things at very reasonable prices. I wonder how well some of the items would wear over time, but the prices can't be beat. Fun kid area in the back. Household knickknacks in addition to pained furniture. Definitely farmhouse chic. read more

I'm surprised that this busy, friendly, wonderfully displayed store has so few reviews. I follow them on Facebook but only recently went for a visit, and, oh my! What a treat this place is.... beautiful gifts, accents, and furniture for your self and others. They also have several different brands of paint for furniture (as well as the stains, waxes, mixes and such that go with them) in the store, so you have a large selection of paint to choose from in the shop. This is probably my favorite furniture store in Virginia. I drive almost two hours from Alexandria to buy my furniture pieces from here. Everything is great and priced well. This is the way furniture should be made. Real wood and custom pieces. If you want a quality piece of furniture that's well made and isn't mass produced this is the place to go! read more

Bought a dining room set which you could see each paint line of the finish. The chair seats weren't even screwed down, the finish on the sides of the chairs wasn't done. You could only see drip marks. Have heard good things about this store so I trusted a quality product would be delivered. I couldn't come in the store because of what was going on. Tried to support a small business. I was told I would receive a refund for what I paid. Did not receive a refund for the delivery charge. Apparently they outsource the delivery even though I paid Labelle for the delivery. I was never told that was the case. I was never given a receipt for my over the phone purchase. I was never told anything about no refunds when I purchased the table. If this was just a set that I didn't end up liking that is one thing. This set was literally falling apart and it was allowed to leave the store knowing people aren't coming in to check things out. read more
