The jeweler showed me that one of the watches had a minor problem (the second hand was not spinning although the watch still told good time) He suggested that if we were interested, he could make arrangements to have it checked over at no charge. Very nice! I went back the following week with 4 more watches for battery changes and they had them ready for pick-up the next day! They couldn't be more helpful and polite. I would definitely recommend them to anybody who is in need of watch repair.

A few years back I brought my wedding band and wedding ring to the store to get them enlarged and…read morecleaned. The results were amazing (kudos to the craft person/jeweler who cleaned/enlarged my rings). The sales people were another story. When I asked the male sales person how much the enlargement and cleaning would cost, he responded, "Not a lot." Really? This was so unprofessional. Unprofessional Act #2: I had to call to find out when my rings would be ready because no one called me. Unprofessional Act #3. When my husband picked up my rings, the sales woman made a remark about how small the rings/my fingers/hands were. I am an Asian-American woman/mother who has been harassed by many White Women/White Men in Upper Montclair, Montclair, Cedar Grove, Verona & West Orange, NJ for years. It saddens/shocks me to admit the level of racism I have experienced in this area. I was shocked that the sales woman remarked about the size of my rings/fingers after we paid $150.00 to get these rings enlarged/cleaned. The lack of professionalism in Essex County, NJ is disappointing, yet no longer shocks me now that I understand how racist this area is.

I came to these folks because they are nearby and I needed several things fixed- I wanted my gold…read moreplated chain fixed as a link broke, a watch battery replaced, and most importantly a pet pendant containing a beloved dog's ashes resized (the chain part). Everything came back perfect. All adjustments were done to specification, and they were smart enough to adjust the length of my bracelet from both sides instead of just from one like I had asked, which keeps the pendant more centered. I also noticed my gold plated chain came back even more shiny and gold so I don't know if it was re-plated or just polished and cleaned but I love it. Great job! And I believe I spent only about a $100 for all three things which was extremely worth it. Turnaround was about a week and they had a good process to set up the pickup to ensure no one can just take your jewelry.

I had a bracelet repaired by QJR in May 2026. When I received it back, the clasp had been installed…read morebackwards, making it unwearable. I contacted customer service and spent a significant amount of time going back and forth with them through their chat. The problem is that their chat is extremely slow, with 30+ minutes sometimes passing between responses. I was able to communicate with them, but only by sitting around waiting for each response, making it a very frustrating and impractical way to resolve an issue. They agreed to fix the bracelet but would only cover $100 of return-shipping insurance, despite the bracelet being worth significantly more and having sentimental value. They refused to cover the additional insurance I had originally paid for. I ultimately suggested receiving store credit for the insurance cost, which they agreed to, but the issue still went unresolved. Months later, the bracelet is still unwearable. I recently reached out again and, once again, have received no response through the chat. Mistakes happen, but the company policy to not match insurance value and the lack of functional customer service have been disappointing & gave more frustration than it's worth. I gave 2 stars because I did have two other previous items that were completed without issue. You just have to hope nothing goes wrong.
