Not enough words to describe how thankful I am for Alain Jewlery creating my dream ring! My fiancé's family has been going to them for years. And, as a small world would have it, turns out we have mutual friends as well! They have helped created us pieces for several momentous occasions (baptisms, birthdays, anniversaries). So I knew we could trust them to do my engagement ring. They worked with my fiancé every step of the away, creating the perfect surprise. They even found a way to integrate the family heirloom into the ring, making it that much more meaningful! I can't wait to go back to them for our wedding bands and other future needs. read more

It is an outstanding provider of fine jewelry and watches...a very charismatic, honest and fair owner... I have been a customer of Sam for over 20 years and have nothing but great things to say about him. read more

Took my watch in for a new battery. There was one man working, he took my watch and started changing the battery while trying to upsell me to a new watch which I declined. He finished changing my watch and told me $30. For a battery! I had $25 in cash and he said ok. Obviously he was overcharging me. My watch worked for 5-10 minutes and stopped working. At this point I was already home and decided to return the next day. The next day the same man was working and said my watch needs service. So I ask how much? He says $175. Then proceeds to give me the $25 back for the battery and said to take my watch because he didn't want to fix it. Very rude. Don't recommend. read more

Let's face it, you don't need a jeweler every day, week, month or even every year. But to know that there is a reliable trustworthy vendor such a Sam is a blessing. I needed to have my wedding band and engagement ring resized and reset.. He not only quoted me a fair price but went above and beyond to match the metal exactly. The stone never left the premise. It was completed within just a few short days and looks better than ever. My daughter had an heirloom ring that needed a stone replaced. Sam discussed the options on real and man made stones and worked within our budget. It's good to know that Alain is so close to come. I highly recommend this trust worthy business! read more

Ok first and foremost the store is beautiful and thoughtfully laid out. Sam is an actual jeweler and has been at this location for 21 years, so not only does he sell jewelry like the major retailers do, but creates and fixes pieces. I want to be specific, becuase major jewelry retailers push sales and many times do not understand the buisness. Sammy has beautiful pieces and competitive prices; the gold, silver and diamonds are of the highest quality. I know this becuase I am a 2nd generation customer and have purchased beautiful pieces from Sam and so has my family to include my late father. If you purchase from Sam, you become family and he will do whatever it takes to make you happy. read more

RUDE. So. Profoundly. Rude. At first I walked in and the gentleman sitting gave me a smile, then like he had mental issues snapped at me 5 seconds later. I didn't even touch anything, I just asked if they do jewelry cleaning. After getting yelled at, I just turned around and left, I didn't need to engage, he seemed unstable. No exaggeration I was in there for at most 5 seconds. If you feel like getting confused and yelled at then sure, pop on by to this weird little place. Maybe he was having a bad day? I wouldn't drive out of my way to come here and risk it. Such a weird experience!! I would AVOID this bad energy at all costs unless you're prepared to deal with a moody business person. read more

Sammy is an absolute pleasure to work with!! He had made custom jewelry for me that has all been outstanding quality. I have sold old, outdated jewelry to him and he has always been very fair and honest with me about the pieces. He even wrote up appraisals for me for my homeowners insurance. I will go back to him again and again. read more

Checked my wife's watch for what I thought was a dead battery. He put in a new battery and since it did not work (I.e. Something else was wrong) he did not charge me anything. Now that's service. I will be sure to shop here when I need a watch or jewelry. read more

Love this place. I've become very close with all the staff and get treated like family every time. Alain got me a Michelle watch I wanted they didn't have in stock so he order it for a really good price. This place is definitely a go to if you're looking for good service and high quality jewelry. Their prices are unbeatable and better than any of the jewelers I've ever been to. From PANDORA, silver, white gold, yellow gold and diamonds. They have everything you could want. Thanks Alain's for everything!! read more

Alain Jewelers is now my goto jewelry source. I found my new watch there. Best of all, I discovered a jewelry source with great selection, prices, and advice. Sam's advice is spot on! Alain Jewelry - Alain Jewelers - Jewelry Near Me - Edgewater, New Jersey

My husband and I have been dealing with Alan Jewelers for the past 10 years. We have always been treated royally. Alain has lovely jewelry and Sammy, the owner, is probably one of the most service oriented individuals we have ever dealt with. Alain has beautiful jewelry at the right price. read more

SO MUCH MORE PLEASANT than shopping at a mall or jewelry chain stores! Attentive, personal service. Very honest, knowledgeable, and professional. A pleasure to deal with! read more

I was incredibly pleased with my service at Alain Jewelers. Not only was the staff incredibly knowledgeable, but they were also patient as I looked through countless pieces, while also remaining the antithesis of pushy. The woman who helped me spent her time answering all of my questions and taught me all about the differences in the kinds of metal in the jewelry I was looking at. You can tell that the company and their workers genuinely want you to fight the right piece of jewelry that you're looking for, and they are willing to spend as much time as you need to be comfortable with your purchase. They even suggested less expensive alternatives. I will definitely have Alain Jewelers be my go-to jewelry store for all future purchases. Their customer service is unmatched, and they have a great selection. read more

Came here last night to join two rings and replace the battery in a watch. Watch replacement was handled in less than ten minutes while I waited and my rings were ready to be picked up less than 24 hours later. The gentleman that helped me was so kind, I will definitely be coming back here if I have need of future jewelry repairs. read more

Very pleased with my experience here. They had an great selection of jewelry and, of course, watches (which are my favorite.) The store is beautiful and the owner took care of us like family. Highly recommend to all my friends, will definitely be back!!! read more

I went into Alain's looking for a new watch for my boyfriend, the staff helped me a lot to find the right one. They even said that if he didn't like it I could return it for a full refund. He ended up loving it and we came back and they sized it for us. They are really friendly and have really nice products. I also ended up getting a pandora bracelet and got a really good deal. Very happy with the service and would highly recommend Alain's. read more

My husband has bought a lot of my jewelry here and I have been with him on numerous occasions. Sam has been like family. He and his brother are extremely fair, so incredibly gracious and honest. I can't imagine ever buying jewelry any place else. They go the extra mile to give you help you get the quality and the design that you want. They never judge you, they always are courteous and kind. Even if you don't wind up getting the piece with them, they help guide you in the right direction. I have been really impressed each time we have been there. Not pushy and always generous. read more

Displeased with service. Jeweler had an air of arrogance. My 1st and definitely last time at this store.

This is the only.place I would go to buy my watches. Prices are great and the service I receive is simply outstanding . Should I want something he does not have in stock he will find it for me . When my daughter wanted a necklace I said go see Sammy. read more

Love love love this store. Got my watch batteries replaced here and have repaired a necklace in the past, they have amazing service and very are trustworthy. Would 10/10 recommend. Deffenitly worth the drive. They have fine jewelry and also cheaper jewelry. They also have the whole pandora collection, this is a great spot for gifts, the manager is very pleasant and will assist in anything you need as well as has a very reasonable return policy so you're never stuck with unwanted purchased items! They also buy/ trade unwanted jewelry! Alain jewelry's is a must spot to check out!!!! read more

Worst service in my entire life. Not only that the guy, who "served" us, treated us like s*#t. He didn't even try to understand my problem. If you have any other jeweler within the next 10 miles go there and NOT TO ALAIN JEWELRY!!! read more

Bottom line, very shady owner. Business hours don't necessarily match the actual hours of operation. I dealt directly with the owner, Alain, ZERO people skills. Maybe because I visited his store after I left the gym and wasn't dressed like a jewelry shopper? Not sure but this was Edgewater last time I checked. Either way just not acceptable, I'm sure the previous 5 star posts are family and friends. I went in to try wedding bands, the inventory was dirty and disorganized. He was reluctant to give me any information about ring specifications, probably because he was used to clients using and abusing him. Perhaps if he treated clients differently, he just may earn some business. My advice, save yourself time and just go elsewhere, anywhere but there. read more

Went there on my lunch and wanted to see a ring but was told he couldn't show me the ring because he doesn't work that side of counter. I bet if I had went in there blinged out with a designer bag he would be jumping the counter to help. Don't judge people. I work and make six figures. I can buy that ring. read more

Shady owner. Had two items on layaway, I found one of the items a quarter of his price elsewhere and removed it from lay away for which in turn he added tax to my remaining item which increased the price of said item by $273. After I decided I didn't want that item either, I went in to purchase something with the amount I had already given him which equaled a bit over $900. He tried to tell me I had only paid six hundred and something. I did not have my receipt at the moment he told me that but told him I knew it was more. Luckily I found it at home and sure enough, I had paid $920. He tried to snow me for almost $300. Mind u, I shop there regularly. Have purchased all of my pandora items from him for myself, my daughter, and all of my family. Have also purchased diamond earrings with him. Shady shady. Will never shop there again. read more
