Very good food. Pleasant atmosphere. Should have photos of food on the menu so people get a better sense of what they're ordering.

She has a review, so if you're bored reading mine, go read hers instead. I frankly wanted to simply say in this review to read hers and skip writing one... haha! We walked in. The lobby was beautiful and cozy, showcasing the Thai culture with dragons and more. We were seated pretty quickly. This restaurant had a lunch menu. Yay, deals! I got the gang garee gai. It was yellow curry with chicken and potatoes, in coconut milk, with steamed jasmine rice. My friend got the beef kao soi, which was a curry soup with noodles. We got a constant stream of iced water. Thank goodness! We were both in dire need of cooling down being out and about on a hot summer day. It also came in handy while we were dining. Our food didn't take long to prepare. I was excited to chow down. The gang garee gai was yummy. I liked the curry flavour. The chicken was tender. There were a few potatoes that lightly thickened the curry. I loved the subtle coconut milk in the sauce. The jasmine rice was perfectly done. The downside was that the curry was salty. My friend agreed with my assessment, as her soup was also salty. At least the sodium levels were consistent here. She also made the comment that her dish was lacking vegetables, except for a thin slice of red pepper. I could tell that this meal threw my thirst level off the rails for the rest of my day. I had six drinks after this meal, without counting the iced water refills here. I downed two consecutive bubble teas that night, which I rarely do. The positive from the salt increase in my system: I was not bloated afterwards. The washrooms are downstairs. It is an older building, so it's not built for accessibility. The washroom was clean. It's street parking here. You can probably find a side street to park for free. The service was excellent. If the salt is toned down, I'd return to try more dishes off the menu. Otherwise, expect to be thirsty all day after eating here. (287)

Plenty of take out/delivery orders while we were there but we were the only diners until 6pm. We ordered the veggie Thai spring rolls, sticky rice, tofu and bok choy red curry, and chicken pad Thai. Everything was delicious. The spring rolls were pretty standard but my toddler loved them and the pad Thai and sticky rice. The red curry with tofu and bok choy was amazing.

I must say it was 10x better than my lunch! The place is quaint, with fuchsia/burgundy chair covers. It was a quiet Saturday night for them. I ordered the green curry with veggies. It didn't come with rice, but I was ok with it. I can drink the broth like a soup. There was lots of variety of veggies and it came hot. The broth was not salty at all which is excellent since I treated like a soup. My partner had the chicken pad Thai. The sauce was not overwhelming and was not sweet at all which was nice. They didn't forget that he wanted extra crushed peanuts. Overall it was a nice satisfying dinner to fill my tummy since the last two places were a disappointment (Blue Cactus and El Camino).

Of course, you can always dine in, though you'll have to keep in mind that it's not the largest restaurant so eating with a big group will be tricky. My order was a red pineapple curry with chicken. It's a decent portion size compared to its price ($18.95), and you'll be getting the mark of quality. The curry was very rich and fragrant. The chicken and pineapple made for a very sweet and savoury combination. They also have options for green and yellow curry, each with varying levels of spiciness. Champa Thai is a very good Thai restaurant that I will encourage everyone to try out at least once, especially if curry's up your alley.

Both were tastey but I did not like the tofu. It was a bit hard and chewy and lacked flavor. But I loved the freshness of the snap peas. And there was a lot of great veggies in it. The chicken/pineapple was sweet and made me feel cozy! Homecooked food is how it tasted and it was soooo good. It was quick, it was easy, and I am not sure about the seating, but I will try it again, maybe without the tofu.

DO NOT LET LOOKS DECEIVE YOU!…read more Although the presentation is lacking, this place is a pretty nice thai restaurant. The servers were very attentive, especially when we were in a rush, and got our food out as fast as they could. As for the food, it came out pretty good to my surprise. Not gonna lie, I wasn't sure how this would go, but after trying it out, it definitely beats some of the "Thai" restaurants in Cali. The egg rolls came out alright, but we loved the spring rolls and the pad Thai. Wish we had something less basic, but we were tired and thought this would come out fast.

Their menu is quiet extensive, lots of choices and options to choose from. Some staples and other more unique items. I decided to try out one of their curries, I always enjoy Thai curry so I was excited. I ordered it with shrimps & steamed rice. It was tasty, I enjoyed it despite the curry sauce being a bit runny. The portion was really big, I wasn't able to finish the whole thing and was happy to be able to take it home. Others at my table seemed to not enjoy their meal as much as I did, so this is why I'm only giving it 3 stars. Maybe my expectations were not as high as theirs, or I was lucky and picked a dish that was hard to mess up? I'm not sure, but it raises a red flag with 7 others don't find their food that great. Unlikely to return, unfortunately.
