I will say that in 30 years of having poutine, this is by far some of the BEST poutine I've ever had. Despite the gravy, the fries are CRISP and it almost looks like there's a 1 to 1 ratio of fries to cheese curds (and more than enough gravy to drown it all). We ordered a single large to share between the two of us (we had a long road trip still and didn't want to totally destroy our systems while sitting in a car for 4 hours) and it was more than enough food. Despite not a lot of customers, the place is busy and there was a small wait while our food was prepared but it was 100% worth it! Staff is friendly and took my English and mixed French stumbling in stride. Absolutely get here if you love poutine, even if you have to travel thousands of miles.

The best part about this market was finding a classic poutine spot. The menu was very diverse, but we wanted something completely classic. The flavor of the gravy was delicious and the french fries were fried perfectly. The cheese is very different too. It can be very spongy, but it goes well with the whole combination. The gravy is so well flavored, I liked the bowl clean of the gravy with my sausage. The polish sausage was amazing- Smokey juicy and grilled so yummy. We got a few different sausages and poutines and brought them back over to eat on the Laff's patio. It had been a long while since I had a grilled Polish sausage, so that's what I got with a little ketchup, mustard, and some chopped raw white onions. The sausage was perfect, tasty, hot, and not overcooked, just what I was craving and very satisfying. There was only one person behind the counter, a young guy who was very sweet, super fast, and we were really impressed he remembered everything we ordered. They have a small menu of your standard chip wagon fare - fries and poutine, hot dogs and sausages, pogos, and drinks, plus ice cream. Great spot that's open late (until 3am I think) for before/during/after a night out at the bars.
