I'd say good vegetarian ramen is not the easiest to find in CDMX, but Yamasan Ramen House's Vegetarian Ramen is not too shabby! It's quite flavorful and has a couple of ingredients like corn, tofu pocket, seaweed, bamboo shoots, fried garlic, cabbage, carrot, scallions, and white sesame seeds. The soup can get a tiny bit salty, but otherwise I really enjoyed the ramen. The portion size was nice and I'd say for the price of around 190 pesos, I highly recommend giving this place a try!

Small ramen shop located in a small mall / plaza. We wanted to switch it up after eating tacos for a week and were excited to try this place after seeing all the good reviews on Yelp and Google. We had the Yamasan Ramen. It was mediocre -- flavor of soup was somewhat there but it wasn't rich and brothy. Lots of toppings but not necessarily needed or a good complement to the ramen (i.e. cole slaw). The pork was not charred or flavorful. In fact, one of my pieces was cold. Good attempt on ramen but I wouldn't recommend.

I did not expect to find one of the best ramen in the world in Mexico City. This place came highly recommended by some friends and it did not disappoint. When arriving, you are greeted with everyone yelling Welcome, which is very common in most restaurants in Japan. The food and service were both amazing. We ordered the Jumbo Prawns and the Yamasan Ramen. Both dishes were recommended by the server and both were delicious. I would ask for extra fried garlic in the ramen because it was that good. I wanted more of it. I definitely recommend this place for the great food and service.

Not a huge fan of Kimchi (don't kill me..) but this place is absolutely delicious!!! Went with my boyfriend for the first time to try some Yakisoba and Ramen, and we weren't dissapointed. If you are in Mexico city, or live around the Condesa area, you need to give this place a try. Prices weren't too expensive, the cook is Japanese and the vibe of the restaurant is a welcoming one.

No wonder it is rated the best ramen in the city. So far the best one I've tried in Mexico. Desserts are nice too. The place is small and a bit loud, but service is good. Totally worth it!

We chose this spot as it was not too busy but not totally dead on a Monday night which seemed promising. Although advertised, they were out of Modelo. We went with a Corona instead along with a shoyu chicken ramen and a tonkotsu pork ramen. We were informed there was no more pork and so ordered the chicken instead. The beer took a long while to get to us and the ramen was seemingly never coming. I even started looking up other nearby restaurants as I was getting hangry. The server did not come check on us or apologize for the long delay at any point. Finally, the ramens arrived and I was disappointed to see a very plain ramen served with no toppings. Very unfortunate as the broth and noodles were good! But the toppings were missed. After eating, we had to walk indoors to get someone to acknowledge we were finished and to pay and leave. Overall, the ramen has great potential but the service was extremely lacking.

I wish the owner would have walked around to chat with us. He did greet us but kept moving. Food was delicious - the katsudon was on pointe. The curry katsu udon soup was my favorite. We also enjoyed the beef ramen. Don't forget to order a sparkling lemonade. Bathrooms were clean. We'll be back

A solid spot if you're looking for Japanese food. We walked in without reservation for a late lunch…read moreand found it wasn't busy. The weather was nice, so we sat in their covered patio area. You can scan the QR code to pull up the menu. It was in both Spanish and English. The menu was extensive, a little something for everyone. There was ramen, rice bowl, udon, sushi, sashimi, shabu, maki, nigiri, etc.   I tried the maguro mix don that had chu-toro, o-toro, and akami on top of white rice. This was a perfectly balanced meal. A good fatty texture on the sashimi. Rice to fish ratio was also good. It was refreshing from all the food we've been eating in CDMX. We all enjoyed our don and ramen.   Service was a bit slow regarding when our food came out but they brought out everyone's food at the same time. The restroom was clean as well. The indoor seating looks spacious. Overall, we enjoyed our meal here and would recommend this spot if you're looking for Japanese food in the Roma Norte area.

We were so pleasantly surprised to find such amazing vegan ramen in CDMX!…read more V Ramen's menu is pretty extensive, fun and exciting. You get to build your own ramen with a variety of broth and noodle options and plenty of toppings to help you customize it, as well. We ordered: -- 1/2 Shoyu Ramen with classic noodles // very nice, light clear broth for those who don't want a heavy or thick broth. It was tasty but we could've added more toppings to round this one out! -- 1/2 Miso Ramen with diablo noodles // the noodles were not very spicy but they definitely had a nice flavor. The broth was rich and creamy, super delicious!! -- 1/2 fried rice // awesome Japanese style fried rice with ginger and nori. Surprisingly refreshing and a nice respite from our soups. We added edamame and corn to both of our ramen dishes. I loved that you could order a half or full size to taste different ramen options / order other items if you have a smaller appetite! I wish we could've made it to V Ramen one more time before we left to taste their sushi, appetizer and other entrees like the curry. Everything looked amazing and we will definitely be back for more next time we're in DF. If you need a break from all the awesome Mexican food you've been eating, consider V Ramen for a fun experience in Japanese food with none of the guilt and no shortage of various options!
