Decided to try Yallah. First, the young lady at the counter was so polite! My items were separated by cold & hot. We ordered a couple of bowls, they were quite large. One was a chicken shawarma 1/2 rice & 1/2 lettuce, it weighed over 2 lbs! The small tzatziki was much bigger than I expected, and delicious. It was a milder flavor than some I've had, but was so good on the beef eggrolls! The small fatoush was enough for two, with fresh ingredients. Chicken kabob pita sandwich was a little heavy on garlic sauce for my liking, but still very good. The only thing missing, fresh baked pita...

The cashier girl was really nice and helpful with answering questions. The place is clean and spacious for being in a small space, but it was super hot inside since there isn't much of a divide between the large grill they cook the food on. It was hotter inside than outside! The price for food portion was pretty decent, at least for the wrap it was good in my opinion. It was stuffed full of chicken that was falling out at the ends. There was a generous amount of garlic spread inside the wrap too! It's plenty filling.

Ordered online per family member recommendation. Chicken schwarma, falafel and spinach pie appetizers. Beware--the chicken schwarma was a bit greasy. I liked the chopped pickles and ordered without lettuce (lettuce gets soggy with garlic sauce). Falafel were thick, interior moist (not dry) and exterior not crispy (could be due to sitting in container) . Spinach pies were triangular shaped, wrapped in a bread dough and delicious! Portion sizes were ample for the price. Fast, easy & delicious! Highly recommend trying them out if you're in the area.

Yallah is my solid go-to for Lebanese food! Excellent food quality and wonderful customer service. The staff is always so friendly and you are treated like family. Their chicken shawarma bowl is HUGE, loaded with chicken and many other toppings like rice, lettuce, veggies, and their delicious pita chips. I couldn't believe how heavy the bag was, and almost thought I got the wrong order lol but their portions are extremely generous for the price point, and the food makes great leftovers. Their fattoush salad and shawarma sandwiches are delicious as well!

I can't sing enough praises for Yallah Express- I'm so happy this place opened up right by me! Good prices, great value, creative menu (including many of our middle eastern favorites), and delicious food. Very small interior with a few seats to eat. This is the perfect carry out spot. I like the new location (moved into the old Garbanzo's spot) on Hall Rd. and Garfield Rd. The food is always fresh and tasty. I will say they never skimp on their portions. You will find higher prices on the delivery apps, but if you order through the restaurants website, there is a minor online ordering fee (I paid $0.42 for a $13.99 bowl). I will say the restaurant interior was a little more basic than the Garbanzo's that was there prior, but keep in mind that the old location never had indoor seating, only pickup. I was also there at closing (within the last hour of closing) to pickup an order.

Ok, let me start off by saying, I was super disappointed that Garbanzo shut down and saw that a new business was taking its place. However, my disappointment did not last long. I decided to try Yallah Express about a month or so ago and have been back consistently since. This place is SOOOOOO good and I cannot stress that enough. If you are a fan of middle eastern food, you are going to love this place. The food is made fresh. The place is clean. The staff is so nice and welcoming. The portions are huge (and I can eat, trust me). The picture i have included is of the shawarma bowl .. it was overflowing. I have also tried their sandwiches, and their shawarma egg rolls which are to die for. I have yet to try anything from here and be disappointed. Hopefully they stick around because I am addicted and can't wait to try the other options they offer!!

Delicious! This tray of food for 3 was very good. The meat was good, the rice and burgal wheat was good, the fattoush it came with was good, everything tasted great! Hummus and garlic sauce were both great sides. S'mores milkshake was awesome.

It was great to see Jackie (from la Saj) Great restaurant-very clean & friendly. Good is fast and fresh! Food was served quickly and hot! Wonderful portion size!

This might be the restaurant that breaks the 22 Mile and Romeo plank curse. I've lived in this area since 2006 and in that time, I've seen the location on the Northeast corner be a revolving door of different businesses, pizza, bbq twice, ice cream, burgers, and at least one other Middle Eastern place. None have lasted much longer than a year. Yallah Express may break the streak. Stopped in for the first time after seeing lots of good comments on Facebook. I could tell something was different from the moment I walked it. The lobby with a small dine in area had been completely remodeled. It looked great, everything was bright, spotless and I liked the open kitchen vibe. We ordered a few different items.first let me say, the portions were very generous. Maybe enough for 2 meals Chicken Shawarma bowl-my wife loved it Chicken shawarma sandwich- very good, the chicken was nice and Julian's well seasoned Beef shawarma dinner- great dish, the beef was great and there were some yummy crispy bits from the outside of the cone and none of the fatty bits that sneak in sometimes Hummus- great smooth hummus, no chunks and nice balance of garlic and tahini Spicy potatoes-taste was good but I wish they were a little crispier. That may be a result of the Steam from the transport process Despite a rush of orders the staff handled everything very efficiently, really happy with the service in addition to the food. Can't wait to come back for more.

My husband and I have been eating at Yallah before they moved locations. The amount of food you get for the price is great except my husband complained about a "plastic/rubbery" piece found in his food. I have also found a piece of bone in my chicken wrap. Fellow Yelpers be advised, Yallah is not a joke. I just went again (2nd time goer) and got a beef tendy shawarma wrap. My brother got the gyro wrap. Both of them were incredible. To the chefs in the back, keep it up. This is high quality food at a great price point. Great food, great service. I am so glad to see this place is doing well so far. They deserve it. The crew is working hard and remain very humble. To those looking for middle eastern cuisine, give this place a go. I am sure you will not regret it. As an experience Yelper, and eater, I give Yallah a 9/10 (my rating of a 9 is under the standard that I would wait 45+ minutes just go eat here again). That's a damn good rating. There are several thresholds to my rating system, but needless to say, I've never given a 10/10 to any restaurant before. For reference, only 10-15% of my reviews get 9+/10. Thank you Yallah. Absolutely delicious! I ordered the chicken kabob bowl with rice. It comes with lots of toppings all were fresh and delicious. The garlic sauce was so smooth and yummy. The amount of food you get is enough for 2-3 meals. I will definitely be here frequently. I hope they joint door dash soon to make it easier. read more

Meh. I don't get all the 5 star reviews. Was excited to try but wasn't impressed. Rice was undercooked, and not the traditional Lebanese white rice with toasted almonds. It was yellow rice with zero flavor. Hummus was bland, garlic sauce needed more punch. Chicken had a strange texture but didn't taste bad. Probably a one and done for me, I threw away most of it. This place has been getting rave reviews all over a few social media groups I follow, so I finally had the chance to try it today........it completely lived up to all the things I've read! I went in to order a carry out of their chicken shwarma bowl with rice, a side of their Yallah sauce & a small Baba Ganoush. I still can't get over the size of the bowl! I decided to weigh it on my food scale & that thing tipped the scale at just over 2 1/2#'s! It was FULL of all sorts of yummy deliciousness. Nothing negative to comment about, except for the baba ganoush. The taste was fabulous, however, I wished the consistency was more thick & not as runny. And I don't know what that Yallah sauce is made of, but what I DO know is it was delicious They have a slew of employees feverishly working in the back cooking their little hearts out for folks & they're doing a top notch job at doing so! I hope they're able to make a go at this location, because for the past decade, no restaurants seem to last on that corner. And as long as they keep up doing what they're doing, I don't see why they wouldn't make it as a staple middle eastern carry-out in the community. read more

Wow!!! Tried this place for the first time and I was not disappointed. The food was super flavorful, and all of the meat was very tender. When I was picking up my order, I could see the kitchen behind the counter and it was SO clean. Spic and span! And the two ladies who helped me while I was there were SUPER nice! Enjoyed a carry out of chicken swarms wraps and a Lebanese village salad. The wraps had plenty of tasty chicken and I asked for extra pickled turnips and pickles - and it was brimming with both. Right before leaving I heard from a friend that they love the one downtown and it's great. Nope. First off, I didn't realize this was glorified fast food. Order at the counter, sit down and they bring it to the table. Speaking of the tables, not one seat is normal height. All the booths would be nightmares for families with young children as they are bar height with unsafe seating for little ones. Don't want a booth? The only other option is sitting at a bar. Not great if you're fidgety or need accessibility. I ordered the small shawarma salad and our son ordered a large. The chicken was cooked well, but the salad was extremely SALTY. My son uses a lot of salt and even he agreed. Hubby ordered the Bucharest shawarma box. The curly fries were decent. He asked what was different about the Bucharest version and the woman didn't mention that it was spicy hot, so he wasn't happy either. We ordered grape leaves as an appetizer to share. They had little flavor and were swimming in a nondescript sauce that was greasy. These were probably the worst grape leaves I've ever eaten. All this cost over $60 (with soft drinks). We won't be back.

I know it's only 6 bucks but it's the principle. I'm praying this is a one time event but I won't be back to find out.

My recent visit left much to be desired across several key areas, making it difficult to recommend when so many superior alternatives are readily available. The most significant letdown was the food itself. In a region known for its vibrant and robust Middle Eastern flavors, Yallah Express's offerings were surprisingly bland and lacking in the authentic zest one expects. It felt as though the dishes were missing that crucial element of spice and seasoning that truly elevates the cuisine. Beyond the flavor, the cost and value proposition were equally disappointing. The prices seemed disproportionate to the quality and quantity of food received, leading to a feeling of poor value for money. When compared to other local establishments that offer more generous portions of more flavorful food at similar or even lower price points, Yallah Express struggles to compete. The overall experience was further hampered by the customer service. Both the woman who took my order and the one who handed it over were far from pleasant. A lack of warmth and a seemingly indifferent attitude permeated the interaction, detracting from what should be a welcoming dining experience. Good customer service can often compensate for minor culinary shortcomings, but in this case, it only compounded the overall dissatisfaction. I ordered two falafel wrap sandwiches with fries, and the quality was unacceptable. The wraps were poorly made and falling apart. The falafel was undercooked and extremely hard. The fries tasted old, the vegetables were not fresh, and there was far too much sauce. I also contacted the owner, and the way I was spoken to was unprofessional. I've posted photos as proof.
