First time here and it was an amazing experience. The staff was extremely nice and helpful to answer any questions we could have. We both got their bowls, falafel for me, chicken shawarma for hubby, and we loved them. Huge falafel and very tasty. His bowl had plenty of well seasoned chicken. Everything tested very fresh and well seasoned. We barely were able to finish half, they are so huge. We had more than one more meal left out of it. The only two things I could wish to be better I'd the falafel to be more crispy, and ability to have more veggies in the bowl instead so much grains. The restaurant was very clean. We also took a peak at other tables, and their pizza looked amazing too. For sure we'll be back! read more

The cashier girl was really nice and helpful with answering questions. The place is clean and spacious for being in a small space, but it was super hot inside since there isn't much of a divide between the large grill they cook the food on. It was hotter inside than outside! The price for food portion was pretty decent, at least for the wrap it was good in my opinion. It was stuffed full of chicken that was falling out at the ends. There was a generous amount of garlic spread inside the wrap too! It's plenty filling. read more

Decided to try Yallah. First, the young lady at the counter was so polite! My items were separated by cold & hot. We ordered a couple of bowls, they were quite large. One was a chicken shawarma 1/2 rice & 1/2 lettuce, it weighed over 2 lbs! The small tzatziki was much bigger than I expected, and delicious. It was a milder flavor than some I've had, but was so good on the beef eggrolls! The small fatoush was enough for two, with fresh ingredients. Chicken kabob pita sandwich was a little heavy on garlic sauce for my liking, but still very good. The only thing missing, fresh baked pita... read more

Ordered online per family member recommendation. Chicken schwarma, falafel and spinach pie appetizers. Beware--the chicken schwarma was a bit greasy. I liked the chopped pickles and ordered without lettuce (lettuce gets soggy with garlic sauce). Falafel were thick, interior moist (not dry) and exterior not crispy (could be due to sitting in container) . Spinach pies were triangular shaped, wrapped in a bread dough and delicious! Portion sizes were ample for the price. Fast, easy & delicious! Highly recommend trying them out if you're in the area. read more

What the Hell they charge credit card fees And there no sign saying they do. What a scam, not coming back! Food are soooo salty read more

This replaced Garbanzo's on Garfield and is an improvement. The staff is friendly and accommodating. The place is clean, which is good since cooking is done in the open. They offer a variety of options for the base of their bowls: bulgur, rice, lettuce, fries or spicy potatoes. The bulgur is a tad spicy, but not too much. We like the bowls as they cover 2-3 meals for us. We enjoyed the shawarmas and beef Kacy's so far. I found the lentil soup a tad disappointing. I think people have discovered this place, as it was very busy Saturday evening! read more

Delicious. Large portions. Quick. Good service. Nice cooler of great sides and desserts. Large salads.

Massive portions. Super friendly owner. Bowl tasted great . Absolutely would come back

I can't sing enough praises for Yallah Express- I'm so happy this place opened up right by me! Good prices, great value, creative menu (including many of our middle eastern favorites), and delicious food. Very small interior with a few seats to eat. This is the perfect carry out spot. Their party trays will give you food for days! Great variety of individual meals & catering/party trays. read more

The only Mediterranean place we go to now, and we got often, since they beat every other place! The portion sizes are huge so anticipate having enough for two meals. Love the usual chicken shawarma or the bowl to be a bit healthier and skip the bread. Worth a drive! read more

Yallah is my solid go-to for Lebanese food! Excellent food quality and wonderful customer service. The staff is always so friendly and you are treated like family. Their chicken shawarma bowl is HUGE, loaded with chicken and many other toppings like rice, lettuce, veggies, and their delicious pita chips. I couldn't believe how heavy the bag was, and almost thought I got the wrong order lol but their portions are extremely generous for the price point, and the food makes great leftovers. Their fattoush salad and shawarma sandwiches are delicious as well! read more

I like the new location (moved into the old Garbanzo's spot) on Hall Rd. and Garfield Rd. The food is always fresh and tasty. I will say they never skimp on their portions. You will find higher prices on the delivery apps, but if you order through the restaurants website, there is a minor online ordering fee (I paid $0.42 for a $13.99 bowl). I will say the restaurant interior was a little more basic than the Garbanzo's that was there prior, but keep in mind that the old location never had indoor seating, only pickup. I was also there at closing (within the last hour of closing) to pickup an order. read more

This might be the restaurant that breaks the 22 Mile and Romeo plank curse. I've lived in this area since 2006 and in that time, I've seen the location on the Northeast corner be a revolving door of different businesses, pizza, bbq twice, ice cream, burgers, and at least one other Middle Eastern place. None have lasted much longer than a year. Yallah Express may break the streak. Stopped in for the first time after seeing lots of good comments on Facebook. I could tell something was different from the moment I walked it. The lobby with a small dine in area had been completely remodeled. It looked great, everything was bright, spotless and I liked the open kitchen vibe. We ordered a few different items.first let me say, the portions were very generous. Maybe enough for 2 meals Chicken Shawarma bowl-my wife loved it Chicken shawarma sandwich- very good, the chicken was nice and Julian's well seasoned Beef shawarma dinner- great dish, the beef was great and there were some yummy crispy bits from the outside of the cone and none of the fatty bits that sneak in sometimes Hummus- great smooth hummus, no chunks and nice balance of garlic and tahini Spicy potatoes-taste was good but I wish they were a little crispier. That may be a result of the Steam from the transport process Despite a rush of orders the staff handled everything very efficiently, really happy with the service in addition to the food. Can't wait to come back for more. read more

Ok, let me start off by saying, I was super disappointed that Garbanzo shut down and saw that a new business was taking its place. However, my disappointment did not last long. I decided to try Yallah Express about a month or so ago and have been back consistently since. This place is SOOOOOO good and I cannot stress that enough. If you are a fan of middle eastern food, you are going to love this place. The food is made fresh. The place is clean. The staff is so nice and welcoming. The portions are huge (and I can eat, trust me). The picture i have included is of the shawarma bowl .. it was overflowing. I have also tried their sandwiches, and their shawarma egg rolls which are to die for. I have yet to try anything from here and be disappointed. Hopefully they stick around because I am addicted and can't wait to try the other options they offer!! read more

I stopped by Yallah Express on Garfield and it instantly became one of my new go-to spots. I ordered the chicken shawarma and fries, and everything was absolutely perfect. The chicken shawarma was incredible -- juicy, loaded with perfectly cooked chicken, and seasoned just right. It wasn't too crispy, but had that perfect little edge that gives it great texture. Every bite tasted fresh and full of flavor. The fries were just as impressive. Cooked to perfection -- crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, and honestly addicting. Overall, an amazing meal with great quality and flavor. If you're in the area, you NEED to check this place out. 10/10 experience. read more

First just want to start off by saying the customer service here is top tier! We've ordered a few times and have always loved it. Today we were missing our side of garlic and a quick phone call fixed the issue with no problem. Now on to the food, we ordered the combo for 3 with all rice, side of wheat bulgur, large garlic, small hummus, and an extra side of Beef kabob. I didn't eat until 3 hours after it was already in my Home and it still tasted extremely fresh. This is hands down the best mediterranean food in Macomb county. The portion sizes are out of this world, we will have food for the next few days. read more

The food is delicious and well worth it. The bowls is where it's at. The girls are great servers. Very nice. The place is clean.

Amazing management! Food portions are huge, clean restaurant, and everything AMAZING! Best middle eastern food in Macomb!

The food is good even if expensive. Poor service today saying their "system was down" so my order took an extra half hour to prepare. But many other orders after mine were complete. So that was just bad service in my opinion. Do not order online if you want in a reasonable amount of time. read more

Have been here three times for carry out in the last few months and I've been completely satisfied with my food order. We get the same two warps each time Chicken Shawarma and Falafel. This place was great! We stopped here for a quick little meal, something in between a snack and a while lunch. It ended up being a pretty sizable portion, but we weren't mad about it. I got the chicken shawarma wrap, and it was super long. I really liked it, I thought it was chicken-heavy, it was well-cooked, and the flavors played together really well. I live for the garlicky toum sauce, and that was a great compliment to the wrap. My husband got the tabbouleh salad and added gyro meat to it. I liked it, it was very punch-you-in-the-face-with-flavor, but my husband found it to be a little bit too salty and acidic. Both the inside and the outside of the locale are unassuming and clean, but the best places are like this. The staff was friendly and got us our food as fast as they could. Overall we had good experience! Check it out! read more

Yallah Express is AWESOME!!! The Chicken Shawarma rice bowl is honestly to die for. Everything is so fresh and the chicken always moist and tender. (Plus, I cannot believe how huge it is). I love Middle Eastern food. It's my background, so I decided to get a carry out from Yella Express yesterday. The people that work there are very nice. They brought my order out to my vehicle, however the food was a different story. I ordered a chicken shwarma vegetarian grape leaves, two spinach pies & lentil soup. The chicken in the shawarma was extremely dry, the lentil soup tasted like pepper, the spinach pies after two no spinach & vegetarian grape leaves were nothing but rice rolled up and the leaves were very salty because they hadn't been rinsed out of the brine. I threw everything out cause.I was sick to my stomach after eating some of it. Now I grew up on this food, so I know how it's made, and this does not hit the mark at all. read more
