I specifically told him that we are on a time crunch and need this done right away, to which he asked for 3 days which we were ok with. By the 3rd day we had called, and emailed him several times to absolutely no response. I did some research on my own and I explained my circumstances to Cody on the phone Monday morning. He helped assure me what was likely the problem, and that he would get the job done regardless. Upon arriving, he quickly determined that it was indeed my ignition (as he suspected) that was causing the problem, and went about fixing it. I could tell that Cody knew what he was doing, and had done this 1,000 times before. Cody was kind, and very easy to work with. I felt at ease with him, and knew that I could trust his work. Cody completed the job quickly, and now both my old key and the new key he made me work perfectly in the repaired ignition. Far cheaper than taking it in to a repair shop, nice people, quality and fast work! I highly recommend Cody for your lock repairs and replacements. Thank you.

Ben evaluated the problem and explained what needed to be done. The key fob was damaged and the little metal back up key, inside the fob, was not cut right. Ben created two new key fobs with the equipment in his van. We bought two because the second fob was much less than the first one. It makes sense to have a spare. I highly recommend Ben at East Bay Locksmith. He is very professional, competent and he works efficiently.

Service was prompt, because I was only able to call a day in advance, and the rates were reasonable and disclosed up front. Adam had great suggestions and facilitated door locks and bolts to be opened with one key, and I especially appreciated his incorporating Kwikset SmartKey security locks so that I would be able to rekey myself if ever needed to in the future. Adam took extra time (at no extra charge) to obtain the needed parts and Kwikset kit, demonstrate how to rekey the locks, and, after leaving, follow up by sending a link to the Kwikset website's guide and video on how to rekey yourself. While locksmith services in general can be expensive, Adam's services are exceptional and his rates, more reasonable and well worth it. Thank you!

One company would not even tell me their price over the phone and wouldn't be there for an hour, they said they would call, so I kept calling other locksmiths. We called George, he arrive same time as the other locksmith, the other guys were late & also tried to tell me it cost more because it was after 5 (we called them at 4). I went with George, he was inexpensive $50 to open the lock. He got there in 15 minutes, did not have a different rate based on the time of day. We called George again when we locked ourselves out of our new place while moving, he unlocked the screen door & showed me how to break the glass in the small window pane of the wood door when we realized that the door only unlocked from the inside. Once in the empty house he made sure it was really our place- we showed him the keys opened the door. He's a friendly & decent guy, we talked about how he used to live in the same neighborhood.
