This is an old school (80s-70s style?) movie theater a stone's throw from the clear blue Naches river. In most respects this would seem like a boring standard film house, but what i like about this theater is that I've seen some honest to goodness independent films at this facility. For eastern WA, this is something which should be applauded. Some of the cool movies I've seen over the years: Christmas In The Clouds, A Better Life, and Tree Of Life. A few negatives: the HVAC system is pretty noisy here, and they don't take credit cards (although they do have atms). These are issues I'd gladly deal with for good films. Solid 3.5 rounded UP.

Snack foods are outrageous! Cost more than the movie tickets!! So sad with all the overpriced stuff we have to pay for now.

Old shitty establishment. $11 for a matinee and the theater was the size of a closet.

There are also the majestic (largest, plays children's films and expected large-sale films) and the plaza (plays horror).

We came in on an admittedly busy day and found a place that had very nice folks working there and few amenities outside of that. The main gripe I have about here is how they go about the purchasing process. We initially tried to buy tickets online and while it's an option, the convenience charge was $1.25 per ticket! Tickets to the show were $6-8 for the matinee' and $7-9.75 for late showings - fairly in line with what we'd expect, but it's a cash only spot. They've got a small ATM out front with a $3 handling fee for those who don't carry cash on a regular basis. The folks doing the tickets were very nice, but it's a gigantic bottleneck here as well as when you're actually entering the theater. The concessions are standard and the theaters are clean with good sound. Overall, a good movie experience. Straight up, they need to change how they're doing things here as far as the tickets go. I realize they're the only game in town and they don't want the 2-5% transaction fee to go to the credit card companies, but Ace of Base is not currently topping charts, Aladdin is no longer in theaters and Beanie babies are not your go to (1992 for those wondering!). Seriously, add $0.25 to the ticket to cover your cost and you're probably end up making more due to the percentage of people who still pay in cash so the Gov't can't track them. As stated, it's the only option around, but continuing to run your business like a cable company with the mindset that there will never be competition will quickly land you in the same place they are currently.
