Yadtel started as a telephone coop to provide phone service to the rural areas of Yadkin and Davie counties. It has now grown into a offering broadband Internet, TV, mobile phone and business services. Note, I only use them for their Internet service. They have treated me well over the years. Fiber to the home offers Internet speeds up to 1 Gig. Prices are not as competitive as you would find in a large city but still not bad. Customer service from the local folks has been great. I have had a couple of complicated issues over the years and have found the local technical support to be very knowledgeable Now the after hours crew, which I believe is outsourced, is another story. They are only good for 1) learning about wide spread outages, 2) telling you to reboot your router or 3) reporting your issue to the day crew. The service has been rock solid. Outages are rare. Highly recommend.

Which is pretty horrible considering it's internet. That number should be well above 95%, but the outages are frequent. As for customer service, thats an oxymoron when it comes to Yadtel. The last two times I've had an issue that required help, they've told me "hm, we don't know what's going on. If the issue persist, call back." Not to mention you're paying a lot for mediocre service. It costs more than most competitors, because when it works it's great, but it works less than any other service in the area. Avoid Yadtel like the plague.

Three guys were working and two of them tried to access my account in various ways, which was difficult because my account was already closed. They couldn't get it done so they connected me to their dedicated Verizon customer service line. That guy couldn't take my money either but I can't fault anyone at this Verizon store. They did everything they could to help and I appreciate that.

When we walked in he was playing potentially offensive music with a lot of swearing. I didn't mind it at all, but viewing it objectively and from a business standpoint, it's not a good look. He spent some time with another customer and began helping me only for the other customer to return, stating that he sold him an iPhone charger and it wouldn't work on his android. He had to call someone in order to make an even exchange of a charger, which seemed odd to me. He continued to help me and said that the jet pack would be $50 then $20 a month. I filled out all the paper work, paid, and was getting ready to leave when he got my attention again. He said "Oh by the way, Verizon might put a $40 activation fee on your account but just call us and we'll waive it for you." I was shocked that I was just being told about this now after I had already paid and signed the paperwork. I figured if he said they'd waive I they would have to honor it if I got charged so I didn't think much of it besides to check the bill when it came in. I got home and tried to test the jetpack and the SIM card would not fit into the jetpack. We came back the next day and dealt with another guy, whose name I wish I could remember because h was very helpful. He replaced the jetpack because Christian gave me a non-functioning one, and informed me that they did not have the authority to waive the $40 fee and that I would have to call Verizon if I ended up getting charged. I did get charged but I called and they took it off. Overall the only thing wrong with this place is the guy I worked with, Christian. Everyone else was very knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful.
