I used to go this location when it was Salisbury Eye Care. My most recent experience took the better part of 2 months to receive my glasses. I was also told I needed a referral. After the almost 2 months when I went to pick up my glasses i asked about the referral as I've heard nothing. I was told more than once that I was not an emergency therefore the referral place would call me after all more important patients were tended to. I explained that I know an appointment could take months and it had already been almost 2 months. I said If the referral place didn't contact me till June and my appointment was for several months out that it was a long time. Again i was told basically I wasn't a important as others with a true eye emergency. I called the referral place myself and was told they call immediately when they receive a referral to make the patient an appointment. They also replied they had received no referral for me. The lady at the specialist office was very cordial and offered to call Peak Eye Care on my behalf to get the referral letter. After this experience I will never go to Peak Eye Care for future needs. I really like Dr. Sie but everything else has made me not want to go there again. read more

My first visit. Saw the Dr. All is well! Purchased a new frame and glasses. Had to wait three weeks before the glasses were returned. At this time I left my sunglasses to be updated. Three weeks I waited, put them on and wrong prescriptions. The girl up front said you should try them for a week or two. I did. No good. I went back they swear it's the right prescription. The Dr. Thank God took a look at them and YES wrong prescription. Had to wait another three weeks for them to come back. I'm satisfied with my sunglasses. Now back to my first set of glass frames they were purchased in the beginning of the year. Not 6 months old. Already lost a screw. Try to by a kit with the correct size. Unsuccessful. So on Monday 6/25/23 I went in to Peak Eye Care Salisbury and needed them to repair. Well they didn't have the right size either. Really, it's an Eye Care Office. So Leighann made do with what she had. The side is very flimsy because the screw is tight but loose. So she said she would try to get me a new frame and would reach out to me. I called back on Tuesday or Wednesday got the call center and left message for her to call me. It wasn't after hours. No response. Called again on Thursday call center and left a message. No response. I'm telling you this because customer service needs to improve. Call your customers back! One should not have a new frame fall apart within months of purchase. Do the right thing. Call me back and order another frame that simple. 4 days have past from the first day in there on Monday. Call me back Leighann. Make your customer satisfied. Once satisfied I will change my post. Still two weeks later response. I've heard more things bad about this place. Reviews are important. Update: 7/18 I received a new frame for my glasses. Thank you. Wish you took care of me in the beginning properly and we wouldn't have this review. read more

I have been a patient of Dr. Sie's for many years. He is always so informative and kind! I feel very confident relying on his expertise to guide me with something as important as my vision. He is prompt and never keeps me waiting. In fact, the entire office staff was right on top of things the minute I walked in the door this week. I am so grateful for their professionalism, courtesy, and amazing service. The lab staff helped me figure out how my insurance would best serve my needs. Who does that these days?! Dr Sie is very good at what he does. That isn't the problem (and the only reason I gave 2 stars). The front desk staff has been rude to my wife and me on multiple occasions. NO ONE answers the phone. It's over a half hour drive for us to get there, so if we need replacement contacts mailed to us, we have to drive there (and be treated rudely) because it's the only way to talk to them. We have tried multiple times per day (early, midday, and late), we've tried multiple times per week trying to get through to them to no avail. We have been going there for over 10 years but it's time to find another optician. Ugh. read more

I've been a patient at Peak Eye Care for over 5 years now, and the front desk ladies, the eye technicians and the doctors are all very kind, courteous, knowledgeable and they truly care about you. The doctors take their time with you and don't rush you through your appointment, and they really get to know who you are as a patient, and a person. All of the staff at Peak Eye Care is very lovely and personable, and when Covid hit, they were, and still are, very respectful of keeping everything very sanitized. 10/10 do NOT recommend this practice. I have been a patient here for years and since they have been bought out by Triangle Vision, it has been a complete dumpster fire. The only way to get into contact with someone is to show up at the office. I called daily for 3 days last week trying to get into contact with someone from the front desk to discuss a question that I had. Every time my call was transferred to someone at the call center for Triangle Vision instead of the actual office in Salisbury. Each time they stated that they would "pass along my message" to the office. The last time that I called they said they would send my message to the office manager. I have not heard back at all from the attempted messages. They never answer their phones so you are constantly being transferred to the call center instead of the actual office. It is very frustrating to be a patient that cannot get ahold of an actual provider or someone at the office... not sure how a medical office functions like this. read more

I called for a same day appointment for an eye issue. The staff on the phone was very efficient and courteous and able to get me an appointment about an hour and a half from the time I called. Dr. Grigsby was excellent- one of the best doctors I've ever seen. He spent a lot of time being sure he had accurately diagnosed my problem and was extremely thorough. He was very nice and personable. He even thought ahead about what care I could possibly need over the weekend if my problem didn't resolve as expected (it was Friday) and made a plan for that also. I would highly recommend the practice and especially Dr. Grigsby. read more

My kids and I are always seen promptly & treated with respect, the staff goes above and beyond, and Dr. Treece was the first to diagnose me when several other doctors (including specialists) had missed what the problem was. Peak Eye Care used to be a good optometry practice (been going there for about a decade), but they have turned to completely disorganized chaos since being taken over by Triangle Visions Optometry. Utterly disorganized staff, no Supervisors are ever at work, they quite literally never return phone messages, or even messages left in person specifically for supervisory staff since the employees apparently cannot do anything without a supervisor. I had an eye exam, ordered my glasses which I was told would take "about 2 weeks." 5 weeks later I am simply out almost $550 for nothing. Too many phone calls to count (they almost never answer the phone), and personal visits to the Salisbury facility to ask for either my glasses or my money back have resulted in absolutely nothing, no refund, no eyeglasses, no return phone calls, no emails. Save yourself time, money, and frustration and go somewhere else. read more

They are the most unprofessional office, the doctor is perfect but the administration is a disaster. They will take your money and forget about you. They even take money in advance without your knowledge and a year later they will say you have "credit". They said my safety glasses would be done in 2-3 weeks. After 5 weeks and no call, I came in and asked what is going on, and they said the frames are backordered, and will be done in next 3 weeks. 10 weeks later no call, no safety glasses, but they took money a long time ago. Your excuse can't be Covid for your unprofessionalism. read more

As a teacher who just had a baby this past year, scheduling appointments is difficult because I don't have time off. I scheduled my exam for Tuesday 12/11 because I don't teach a 1st period and it's our block day so I have 2 hours before my first class. Today I show up to my appt bundling up my baby and waking us both up early. I arrived at 8:05 to an empty building from the Easten side of town. NO ONE CALLED. Despite the millions of texts to remind me to make an appt, not one was sent out about adjusted hours. Apparently common courtesy is not a strong suit for these people. read more
