I go into the store and Finally some one comes out of back office and ask if they could help me. I explained what I was looking for and lady showed me the style they stocked which was very expensive and she said Medicare would not pay any of cost even though my Dr. had written a script for it. I told her I really did want this new style but needed to add Foot Pedals on it, so eventaully, when needed, I could use it as a wheel chair. She said they didnt have but went to look up and give me prices, etc. By this time, I need to use the restroom and asked where their restroom was and I was told they didnt have one and I could go next door and use the Ace Hardware! What a Joke. I picked up my bag, and toldthe lady I had to go and I WOULD NOT BE BACK. They lost a 400 sale today as I was ready to have them order the one that I wanted. I will go to Kannapolis/Concord and get it. These people deal with Senior Citizens all the time and should know that as we get older, sometimes, we need to use the restroom. Also lady that apparently was owner was in office and never looked up or smiled or said anything to me while I was asking the other person questions. Very poor salesmanship. I was an ouside sales rep. in the furniture and gift industry for almost 30 years, and if I treated a customer like I was treated today, I would have been fired! Have to give them a A for trying…read more Yesterday afternoon the battery in my regular dress watch died and i have to send in off to replace the battery to maintain the warrant. Something to the effect the battery has to be changed by their technicians under nitrogen. No problem, I kept an old Timex for just such an occasion, Got up this morning and dug it out of the drawer and guess what ? The battery was dead also. Gave a call to Wooten Jewelers in the Mall and the owner told me that he probably had the battery but if not, could tell me where to go. I could not read the numbers on the back of the case to tell him. Got to the store and while he had trouble reading the numbers as well, turns out that was one of the few he did not have. He suggested a couple of places but rather than that, I asked him to call his brothers store to see if they had it. He did and they did. I'm not going to knock the store down when then were so helpful in the end. Looking around the store, nicely appointed and from what I could see, good selection. It's one of few stores left in Signal Hill Mall.
