Tips are not guaranteed and the service was terrible. Here's what my first facial was like: The place is tucked in between streets on Madison Avenue. It's got nice treatment rooms. Irina (she did my facial) definitely knows what goes into keeping skin relaxed and happy. I went in with slightly blotchy skin and acne scars. She analysed my skin before making suggestions as to what kind of a facial was best suited for me. She was honest about my skin and how I could treat it better. Also not once during the two hour facial, did she push any product endorsement on me (big plus). Irina then proceeded to treat my skin for two hours (including treatment time for face packs). My facial included a mini micro derm, an oxygen facial and extractions. She was very thorough without pinching my skin. The best part about this facial was that the next day my skin was actually not red or more blotchy than usual. She used a violet-hued wax and informed me that as it was organic it'd cause less discomfort than the typical salon wax. She was right about it hurting less & there wasn't any lingering redness. The soothing cream used didn't irritate my freshly waxed underarms & the elevator music playing in the background distracted me from the yank-yanking sounds of unsightly body hair being pulled away.
