The most recent edition of 110 magazine's cover is in very poor test. The cover is show casing an…read morearticle within the magazine called "Job Whore" The article is about a women that goes from one bad job to another. The word "whore" typically refers to a women who trades sex for money or other commodities. The caption on the cover indicates that one is trading sex for a job. This magazine sets out in public view in many businesses where any one can read, including children of all ages. I am not a prude but I believe our publications should show some restraints in what they put on the covers of their editions in order to get readers to pick up their magazine. This edition places 110 in the same category of the magazines we find in grocery store check out lanes. Not very professional. How about raising the bar instead of stooping to the level of "rags"

They only want to do anything through email, which is fine but we don't work on a computer it's easier to ask questions on the phone. They never can figure out re-prints from previous years they always want you to resend it to them instead of looking it up on their end. The final straw is this year's carbon copy, as you can see from the pictures the only part that needs to change is the calendar and they seemed to shrink that part. Called to talk to manager, employee answered "hello" so when I asked where I was calling they said BR Graphics totally fine I don't need a super welcoming answering of the phone but I wanted to talk to the manager. Called him and left a message last week. Knowing they don't really like phone calls I decided to email manager, info, and graphics as well trying to get someone to get the manager to answer me. Called several times to talk to a manager left several messages. Today I called and finally asked for the owner to call me back. Magically the manager called me back! He was defensive from the start, trying to explain what the difficulties we have been having with the business and he asked "what do you want me to do" "I sent you a sample" you're correct you did send a sample but you can't tell how microscopic you made the calendar part. Anyways, just asked for my images back and we'll be taking our business else where. I'm sorry to see this business go down hill the way that it has. But hopefully one day they will get someone in there that likes what they do and has more of a customer service base than the people currently working there.

I used them again three months ago for a staggered mailed postcard marketed to a 5 mile radius of my business, and have had a great response so far. Designing the product is included in their pricing, which is great! I wasn't thrilled that the designer I had used before is no longer with them (She was VERY good). Some problems with time/back & forth involved in getting the design look I wanted, but when I voiced my complaint to the Owner he immediately switched my account to another designer. My design was finished the SAME DAY completely to my satisfaction. I will definitely use their services again. Competitive pricing, good looking ads, good choice of different marketing services and very good customer service.
