I ran them all by a friend back in Wisconsin who's a master electrician- he confirmed that Bolton electric had fair prices for services and the services were what was required. Cory wasn't the cheapest quote, but my friend really questioned those others, as supplies were more expensive than what they were saying and pointed out either another charge is coming or they're cutting corners somewhere. Cory was very patient in working with me (quote to actual installation was about a year apart as I completed projects in sequence). He ensured everything was to my satisfaction, was very communicative, and did the project for the price quoted. It looks great (as far as electric project aesthetics matter), and it works perfectly. I contacted Erin on installation day when LOWES CANCELLED THE INSTALL A HALF HOUR AFTER THE SCHEDULED ARRIVAL TIME. She was a dream to work with. My techs, Shane and Jeremy, were personable and professional and did a stellar job with the install. AVOID!! Way overpriced! Please read my story below…read more I originally contacted WCM to get an estimate on replacing light switches. The initial automated questionnaire asks "How many?" and the the pre-filled answers give out a range of numbers; I selected 4-10 because I needed to get 4 switches replaced. William then responds with a quote of 400$! I replied with that's more that what I doctor makes hourly. I then decided to leave it at that and go with someone else. His response is asking if I needed 10 light switches replaced. This is something a business should ask FIRST before giving out a quote. I again decided to ignore it because I was already found a reasonable electrician. I come back 3 months later only to see him respond to my review with a question of " Why not do it yourself?" What?! What kind of sound business asks that question of their customer? Its incredibly condescending and doesn't take into consideration that I could've been a Handicapped/ impaired person unable to physically do the work (I'm not disabled in any way). I hardy ever use Yelp and I certainly don't come on here to solely criticize business's like William suggests. This is a business people genuinely Need to AVOID to prevent getting scammed.

GOOD ELECTRIC SERVICE…read more I REALLY needed a "Good" electrician! My project of adding central A/C to each of the units in my Washington Park 4-plex had turned into a nightmare. The company I had chosen for the HVAC portion of this project had completed their end of the work promptly and professionally For the electrical portion of this project I used a licensed electrician who had done a few smaller jobs on my building in the past. After a week's worth of work my new A/C's were up and running. Then came the phone call. A new tenant had received an electric bill for $300 for 2 weeks of electricity. The electrician I had hired had jury rigged the wiring to get the proper voltage to each A/C unit and one tenant was paying for 3 A/C's. While trying to figure out what was going on I discovered that in gaining access to the wiring that electrician had used a hammer to beat holes in the walls of my beautiful apartment building which he left unrepaired. A quick check with the Colorado Department of Regulatory Agencies (DORA) revealed that his license had been revoked 2 months earlier, Not only had my building been vandalized by this criminal, his jury-rigging had jeopardized the safety of my tenants and the safety of the building. In the following days I contacted a total of 15 electricians looking for someone to correct these hazardous issues. More than 1/2 had no interest in the job once I described the situation. A few others came to look at the job then never got back to me. Most appeared to lack the expertise or knowledge to structure, manage, and oversee this fairly large and complex project. I needed an electrician with the ability to work with Xcel, to work with a design engineer, to work with the city, and to navigate the permitting process. Of the 15 electricians I had reached out to only David Barbero, president of Good Electric Service Company, was able to fully conceptualize what needed to be done and make it happen. In strategizing for this job David, and his team, visited my property on two occasions. Their thoroughness included exploring the crawlspace, the utility room, the attics, and the current service/electrical panel in each of the four apartments. David's bid was competitive and his level of planning expertise extraordinary. His 30+ years of experience was apparent. David and the guys at Good Electric had earned my business. Within 48 hours of signing a contract the necessary permits had been acquired, the builders application for service upgrade had been submitted to Xcel Energy, and an engineer had been brought in to generate the required stamped engineering plans. The company's head electrician Mike, who is a licensed journeyman electrician, would be the lead on the project. Mike is working towards his Master's license and teaches other electricians at a local trade school. Subsequent to winning local and regional competitions for electrician skills Mike recently went on to earn First Place in the National Wire Off competition. He is literally the undisputed number one electrician in the nation! Mike's team member Sean is equally committed to maintaining the highest possible standards and is currently working towards his licensure as Journeyman electrician. The last member of the team was a hard working young man by the name of Quinton. Quintin's goal is to work his way through the ranks as he moves forward towards a career as a licensed Master Electrician. Quintin has already begun studies as he begins his journey towards licensure. Watching the work unfold was akin to watching a well-planned military exercise. All materials were delivered and staged the day before the work began. When Mike, Sean and Quintin arrived, work commenced immediately with each member of the team knowing exactly what should be done and in what sequence. It was like watching a precision drill team in action. As a courtesy to my tenants 24 hours advance notice of when their power would need to be shut down was provided. The time that my tenants were without power was less than 30 minutes per apartment. Work began on Wednesday and was completely up and running by Friday. The inspection by the city took place on the following Monday and declared to be 100% perfect! My electrical nightmare was over. It is without equivocation that I recommend Good Electric and the top-notch electricians that they employ. I found their pricing to be competitive, their knowledge to be extensive, and their commitment to excellence unparalleled. With Much Gratitude, Jennifer Anne Blair, MA Jennifer Blair Property Management LLC
