    I had an issue with my refrigerator not cooling so I contacted Mr appliance to have them come take…read morea look at it. First the good, they were able to come out the same day. She initially told me that if I use their service, the $119 service call would come off the top of their bill. I thought that was fair so I had them come on out. Now the bad: the gentleman came out and opened the freezer and push the button to turn the light off which also turns the fan on. He said the fan was the problem and it would need to be replaced. Told me the job would cost about $600 and he wasn't sure if that was the only issue. He never checked the fan motor with any tool to see if that was the problem. I then put the refrigerator in diagnostic mold and showed him the fan motor actually did run. But he said that was only on high speed and would not run on low speed. Furthermore he never checked any other item to confirm that the fan motor was the only problem. There was also a little bit of a language barrier as he had a bit of broken English, but we got by that. The end result was I did not feel comfortable with his decision about the fan motor being the only problem. I did however order a fan motor on my own and replaced it myself (just in case his diagnosis was correct) and it took about 45 minutes to do so. It was a very easy fix and why it would have taken him so much longer to do it I have no idea. I will update this post in about a week or so to let everyone know if his diagnosis was correct or not. I don't want to cast any disparaging remarks on a company if it's not accurate. I felt like he was trying to talk me out of having the work done and was just trying to get his $119 service charge. Which now I feel like I was basically cheated out of.

    Since moving to the area we have come to this Home Depot on many occasions for big items and small…read morepurchases. I have yet to run into any employee who was not amicable or helpful. I have even had unsolicited advise, which turned out to be very practical. They pretty much have always had what I was there to buy, except on two occasions although their website stated they were in stock. Overall the prices are competitive, either a tad more expensive or less expensive than Amazon (and we all know how they've cornered the market). Although I prefer to shop in person we have had several items delivered, with their delivery service being very quick. The times we have had deliveries it was FREE to do so, which brings me to finally realizing I had not done a review for this place. Today I went in and purchased a few items, but forgot to get one of their 5 gallon buckets. After getting home and realizing this I went on line to see how much they were and they promoted FREE delivery this very same day. So I ordered one and added a 2 gallon bucket for shits and giggles. I was notified that there was a problem getting both delivered today and the order was split. The 5 gallon did show up this evening and the lowly 2 gallon is scheduled to be delivered tomorrow. This was a very low dollar amount order to begin with and I actually feel guilty about it. They were going to lose money on this minor purchase to begin with and now it's an even bigger loss! Dangggggggggggggg :-(
