Do my review there are there are not many people here today this reminds me of a Home Depot in New York City. The bathrooms are clean. This place is very very spacious. I think it's basically pretty much the same as the Home Depot. I don't know. I have not been through the whole store yet I'm in Florida so I don't not quite sure if they have everything that Home Depot has but it looks pretty good. If I could give them -5 stars I would. We bought a washer and dryer two months ago. We called them and told them what was going on and they said for us to go ahead and call customer service. I told the guy I was speaking with that the gentleman that sold us the units told us 90 days and we could get a refund. He insinuated that we were lying and then when I questioned him if that is what he meant he said "maybe someone understood incorrectly" I have never been treated like that before. They did not believe us and now I am having to go and speak with a manager but honestly, I am not very hopeful that anything will change... They should be ashamed of themselves for treating people like that. You would think it is on the receipt but it does not... So how do you know for certain that your sales associate did not lie? No wonder they don't have it on the receipt people would think twice if not three times on buying something this mayor with such little coverage. That is how they get you. 12/27/20 Purchased a 12ft Shop Vac brand hose for my shop vac along with a few accessories. I used the hose once in January and then put it away again in the box to store it since I live in an apartment with limited space. I went to get the hose out in February for the purpose of vacuuming my vehicle and found that the hose had literally broken apart in at least 3 places. Lowe's has not had this particular product in stock since I purchased it back in December. I've checked with them to see when they will be getting them back in and haven't gotten a straight answer yet. I've now been informed that since my 90 days are up I can no longer return it for an exchange. WTF???? How am I supposed to return it for an exchange if they won't even bother to get it back in stock???? This is absolutely ridiculous. read more

Bought a live Christmas tree on November 26 and followed the instructions for keeping it "fresh" including keeping it in water with their preservative. Went to put it up and decorate it yesterday, December 3 and it has turned brown and massively shedding needles. Had to rush to buy an artificial tree and Lowes will not issue a refund to our Lowe's account. This was the first time buying a live tree since the 1970's. If I could give Zero, I would! Once the money is in the register, the customer service goes to Zero. This continues to be the most horrible experience with no customer support. ASM Mark at Store and his cabinet team have shown the worst customer experience. Small kitchen remodel for started 3/21/21 has yet to be completed. The incompetence of the Lowes employees has caused multiple delays, and lack of communication and ownership of the process has left my family without a counter top, cabinet, and kitchen sink for a month now. Having to wash dishes in a small tub, in the community utility sink every day, Lowes has shown no care or compassion for their longtime customers. When called today as spoke to ASM Mark, he said he had no idea what was going on. Then had the lowest paid person with no authority call back to ask for even more money than the $12K we already spent in the first place. Then less than 15 minutes after the being paid their contract said oh, by the what you ordered is out of stock and it will be another week and half! This job was supposed to be completed 5/5/21. Lowes made us the customer have to find out the names and numbers of all their sub-contractors and try to arrange and schedule everything. Then sent the wrong plans to their contractors, which delayed cabinet install by a week, therefore delaying counter top measurement a week and a half with a 3 week install delay. Now an additional 1.5 week delay with no stock. All this after the plans they drafted shorted me 3" additional cabinet space. Their further incompetence, lead me to have to pay an additional $130 to have someone install an appliance that I had already paid Lowes to install after it not being hooked up for over a week! 2.5 months later still no counter top, sink and missing a cabinet not installed. Last Nov. purchased a small electric fridge for my RV. Rather than hire RV guy to come and put it in and haul old one away, I paid Lowe's to deliver, install, an haul old one away. Delivery men were 2 Hispanic men who claimed "NO ENGLISH", took one look inside RV and said - in Spanish into their phone - which then said to me in English (!!!) we cannot do that, we will get into trouble. I held my Lowe's receipt up to them saying I PAID to have all this done! They just kept playing the message on their phones and headed to the truck to leave, leaving my new fridge sitting out in the yard! My son finally came over and got them to at least help him put it inside. THEN I had to get on the phone and try to get hold of my RV guy to come and do what I had paid Lowe's to do. HERE is the hinky part...a Lowe's associate had actually warned me that this 3rd party delivery/install company is just the way it turned out to be! I should have listened, but thought maybe he was just saying something off the top of his head...surely a huge org. like Lowe's wouldn't do that to a customer! My son told me he had a similar experience with buying a door from Lowe's. The real icing on this cake, though, is the fridge is absolute JUNK!! The back wall of the refirgerator (NOT the freezer) stays covered with ice, any food in back freezes solid, while the front part doesn't stay cold enough to keep things from spoiling!!!! But do you think I want to deal with Lowe's ever again to resolve this issue?? NEVER again!! Epilogue: at the time of the nightmarish incident with delivery guys, I spent days on the phone before I finally got a refund for what I paid Lowe's for but didn't get. When I wrote letters to the CEO, he just kept passing them off to some guy who didn't seem to know daylight from dark, and just ended up making me even angrier at Lowe's!!! winter haven Fl Lowes,worst experience ever.I am handicapped and do not like walking to the entrance door,then have to walk to the other end of the store to get my item then walk halfway across the parking lot to get back to my car.So when i went today,i went to the exit door as my item was close by that door,easy in and out but when i walked up to the door a young man on the other side inside promptly walked up and locked the door,telling me i was not allowed to enter this door and had to walk all the way down to the entrance door.Beyond ridiculous to actually lock a customer out and force them to another entrance! Well a customer who had just checked out came to the door and the young man was not sure what to do,he had to let the customer out,so when he finally did that,i walked right in.Immediately i start getting eye rolls and under breath comments from a cashier named Dellah,i have never been treated so badly at a lowes store before and had i not gotten in,i would of went to home depot and would never have returned to lowes. On the inside,i needed plumbing supplies but the aisle was blocked off and no one was around,they had a ton of merch.I went in because i needed what i came for,not 10 seconds later a guy comes up to me and tells me i cannot be in the aisle! My son and I had to replace the bathroom shower fixtures. It was a big job for us because we had to go through the hallway wall to reach the pipes and fixtures that needed replacement. We had to go to Lowes 4 different times to get all we needed. Since there was no one in plumbing we had to have a service rep paged to assist us. Fortunately for us we got David F (a gray bearded gentleman). who was EXTREMELY helpful. We showed him pictures of what we needed to repair and he took the time to lay out all the parts we needed to get the job done and explained to us the best way to resolve the problem. Customers parking in unmarked areas of lumber pick up causing a dangerous intersection on the east side. Seriously need speed bumps out front. Pretty bad when you order an item in demand wait for the delivery date. And poof it was taken off the delivery truck! Wow. That's my experience with ordering a freezer waiting almost a month and verified the delivery the day before. Finding out that the store pulled it off the truck ( I figured some employee or friend wanted one). Me and my husband were in lowes at 1:31pm and we waited 25min to be checked due to management could not think of opening all 6 register's. Self check out was full with a long line... then one of the employees came over and scanned or items and then said once you make it up to the register it will be a quicker checkout.... I went to Lowe's in Winter Haven yesterday. They offer price matching and so I supplied my receipt from last week to them to get the same price the lady refused and lied about Walmarts price being almost tripled. I just wanted the same item but I was not about to pay almost $5.00 for a tube of caulk but they advertised on shelf for $2.28. I wanted to pay $1.98 like Walmart. She had nerve to ask me if still wanted it at $4.98 a tube. That is bull crap. If you advertise price matching and I supply you with proof it's cheaper somewhere else then step up to your claim!! I have a heart condition and that lady made me walk further then necessary to tell me no she will not price match. You need to own up to your claim or remove it. Went yesterday to buy paint to start the repaint of our home. After waiting in line for 15 minutes had Zac help us pick the quality of the exterior Sherwin-Williams paint for the project, $39.99 a gallon. Asked for two to be mixed to begin the project. We went to check out and it rang up $42.93. Went back to paints with the help of a customer service rep, unfortunately we didn't get her name, but she saw the prices listed on the counter and asked Zach if they charged for tinting, and the response was no...but they do charge more for the sheen. The price listed was for flat paint only, and since ours wasn't flat it was going to be more, and then he pointed out the tiny print under the sticker price that said "starting at". Then the customer service rep said that was the standard in the business. I'm sorry I have painted for more years than I would like to say, and never have seen a policy like that. I was then told by the rep that I just wasn't listening. I was done. Stated that I would go across the street to Sherwin-Williams and buy directly from them. Her response was "go right on ahead". We did and bought the same quality of Sherwin-Williams paint with out the up-charge for satin sheen for $33.94 a gallon. With that being said, if you need paint go to a paint store where you're treated well, like paying customers should be treated! read more

I had a very, very bad experience at this store. I went with my husband to shop for a refrigerator. Well we did find the one we wanted so we talked to a sales girl named Kayla. At first she seemed to know her job but then when she started processing the order she forgot to add removal of our old one. So, she had to cancel that order and start the whole process over....ugh...don't make sence to me they don't have in these stores what you want to buy...only displays....anyway she ran the order again and delivery was to take place between 1-4- Dec.4...We waited and waited...no refrigerator..so I called the store and another salesperson said I would have to call another number...so I did...and to my surprise my order had been cancelled....no explanation as to why...no apology...nothing....So at that point we were more then upset mind you they took almost $2000 out of our bank account.....Told the sales person we were on our way to the store to speak to a manager....we got there and all we got was a assistant manager...which offered one refund in cash and said we would have to wait 3-5 business days on the second refund...no explanation, no apology, nothing...I will never shop this store again...and we better get our other $1000 or we will speak to our attorney!!!!! read more

Tried to but 2 items on Veterens day at 12:20 pm. They only had one actual cashier, the others were self service. 2 for cards only, 2 for cards and cash which one was jammed. A women came up to ask a young lady where are the furniture floor protectors located, you know the ones with sticky things to attach them. She asked manager who was trying to fix machine and said what sticky thing and went about her business. The young lady totally ignored the the customer after that and went to help someone else leaving customer puzzled. The lady said heck with it and checked out! Cha' Ching! Money lost, no sale! Then I asked if I can get my military discount at the self service area considering she was patrolling them and she sad no! You have to go get in another line! Wow! After I stated you should have signs saying no discounts given at these registers and y'all need to open another registration! So I go to customer service and there are two employees there doing much of nothing while a gentleman is standing waiting for help. I decided screw this and left my stuff on counter for them to put up! Cha Ching! More money lost from another customer. No wonder Lowes is going to close down stores, probably not this one, but the head honchos need to teach customer service and how to follow up with someone needing help and to have more real registers open especially when its a holiday sale!! read more

I was in Lowes this morning in Winter Haven. I normally shop the Bartow store but needed cabinets that the Winter Haven store had in stock. As well as cabinets I also needed closet doors, door casing, lumber, blinds, door knobs and other items. I spent about $850. Would have spent more if the staff wasn't so unhelpful. I understand one person maybe having a rough day but I encountered three employees in different departments who obviously didn't care about their customer or their job. Each and every time I go to the Bartow store , which is everyday because we flip houses the staff is very helpful. My sister and I couldn't wait to get out of the store in Winter Haven.
