We decided to check out XX Tacos for their special Valentine's Day tacos (aka pink tacos). They were buy 3, get 1 free and pink!!! Parking was easy and even though there were quite a few people inside, they took our order quickly and brought our food out to our table. Everything was delish...just wish they had chips! Food & Drinks: We stopped by XXTACOS on a Saturday morning while craving a solid breakfast burrito, and it did not disappoint. This was our first visit to their newly opened storefront, we've only had their food truck before so we were excited to finally check out the restaurant. I ordered the Breakfast Burrito II, which was huge, stuffed, and full of flavor. Definitely grab some of their salsas on the side if you like extra heat. My husband ordered the XX burrito with carne asada, which also features bacon, and he absolutely loved it, super flavorful and very satisfying. We also tried the piña agua fresca, which tied everything together perfectly. Atmosphere & Service: The inside was clean, spacious, and had plenty of tables. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful while we were ordering, which made the experience even better. Overall: So glad XXTACOS now has a physical location nearby! The food is consistently delicious, and this brunch visit confirmed we'll definitely be back, next time for lunch or dinner. Highly recommend if you're looking for a great burrito spot. read more

After a recent outing at the driving range at a local golf course,my son and I decided we wanted a quick lunch,so I suggested this new shop that recently opened nearby,so we headed to XX Tacos on Watt Avenue located near Watt and I-80. When we arrived there was plenty of parking available as it shares a parking lot with Starbucks and The Franchise Tax Board. The workers there were very friendly-helping us sign up for their customer loyalty program before we ordered so we would get credit for the visit.They have a pretty standard menu,all the favorites available,street tacos,quesabirria tacos,burritos,breakfast burritos,you get the idea. I decided to go with 3 street tacos($3.49 each) and my son went with a breakfast burrito #2 ($11.95)....my street tacos were 1 carne asada and 2 al pastor.My taco plate was served with both green and red salsa options and with side of onions and peppers to add to the tacos. My tacos were very good,the carne asada was properly seasoned and tasty and the pastor was flawless-I really enjoyed them-I would for sure order these again on a future visit.I also tried the breakfast burrito and it was amazing as well,all ingredients were fresh and cooked perfectly and served nice and warm-I liked it a lot.The salsa they offered were very tasty and for sure packed a bit of a punch. Overall I would say my 1st visit to this location was a total success and look forward to heading back here and grabbing a quick bite,I would recommend you do the same and give these guys a shot-I feel you won't be disappointed. PS....I heard these guys have a food truck located in another part of Sacramento but I've never been,but if u run across it,I'd have to imagine it's pretty good based on their brick and mortar location. read more

I saw an ad on IG and that was for the south Sacramento location. Fortunately they had this location which was only 5 min away from me. Let me tell you I was not disappointed at all! Great service, clean lobby, and amazing food. I ordered the XX Burrito (half asada, half pastor) and it was a 10/10. The avocado salsa is a MUST! I've been a loyal customer of XX tacos since they started back in 2019ish. The food and service has always been the best. I always recommend this spot to friends/family. I would have to say they are the #1 spot here in California. I'm Sinaloense so when I say that, I really mean it since I've been to several spots in cali & Mexico.
