My husband loves Jack in the Box - I'm pretty sure it's one of his favorite fast food places, if not, his number 1. I think it's the Tacos! Being a horror/Halloween fan, I was excited to see that their Munchie Meal of Horror was available. The Munchie Meal of Horror includes your choice of a Double Krusty Burger of Terror or a Double Chicken Sandwich of Terror, two Tacos and Curly Fries. My husband and I both went with Double Chicken Sandwich of Terror and we both agreed that we should have went with the Double Krusty Burger of Terror. Each Munchie Meal of Horror comes with a collectable cup - we got the orange Bart one and the yellow Homer one. The box that the food came in was expertly designed and I loved the attention to detail - especially the sandwich wrappers! The Tacos and Curly Fries were spot on as usual. I can't comment on the service or the ambiance since this my husband picked up the order, but if you're a Simpson's fan, you should definitely pick up one of these Munchie Meals of Horror! read more

I went to this struck in the box one night late night, and it was funny because there was a billboard that was less than a block away and I was trying to get that deal and the employees had no idea what I was talking about however they did end up giving me the deal for the price. I said it was which was really good. It was two for five dollars for a breakfast sandwich. The service was pretty good. Jack in the box. Food is same business to business, which is very good because you always know that you can go by and grab some jalapeño poppers which have been my favorite for many years to come and who can beat the taco deal. read more

I went to DT and they didn't gave me a receipt, they forgot my order of jalapeño , I left and drove away when I check my order I notice they were missing so I went back , when I ask for my missing item the lady who said her name was America ask me for my receipt I told her that the guy on the window didn't gave me one and I was there lest than 5 min ago she went to the kitchen and ask the ladies in Spanish if they had an order of jalapeños they said no , she went back and forth with them in Spanish ( I speak perfect Spanish as well so I know what was going on) after couple minutes she walk to the DT area and find the jalapeños sitting there , I asked for her District Manager information she said she do know, she said you want something else ? I said aleast give me a side of fries for the inconvenience of coming back " her response was you should of just told me you want fries for free" with a very bad attitude , I'll be more than happy to have a conversation with her DM about the poor customer service. read more

Jack in the Box #532 916 283 7550 4849 Madison Ave Sacramento CA 95841 This is the worst Jack in the Box I've ever ate! The chicken strips were ice cold and the chicken meat was so salty that they must have marinated it in pure salt water. The batter wasn't spicy but had additional salt and the curly fries were old, rubbery, ice cold and doused in more salt. It was a sodium nightmare! It upset my digestive tract so severely that I had diarrhea within 2 hours! Along with severe dehydration, stomach/intestinal cramps, mixed with shaking and night sweats! Jack in the box has been linked to E coli since the early 90s and I just read  that they have had problems with contaminated chicken with salmonella which is what we got. Not only are you getting gouged in your pocket book but you run the risk of poisoning you and your whole family! Apparently, the quality of their food is questionable! It says "Under new ownership but they are serving over priced, tainted food. I have the receipt and will file a  report with the CDC. Beware! Please don't run the risk of poisoning yourself or your family! read more

I'm becoming a regular here at this Jack in the box. Jack has brought back my wife's favorite fast food meal - the Bonus Jack. She loves them. So I've been here a few times recently. It's always good. But the other day it was more than good. It was AWESOME. The reason for the awesome was a guy by the name of Christian. He was, I think, by far the best fast food restaurant window attendant ever. He was very polite, friendly, helpful, informative and Hospitable. If I was still a restaurant manager, I would hire him in a heartbeat. The food here is consistently good. The restaurant is clean and well maintained. But Christian is the BEST! read more

Jack in the Box - I have never seen such disgusting food ever. - Fast Food Near Me - Sacramento, California

Just stopped by this place to get a sourdough jack. I said, can I please get extra tomato. They said sure. I get to where my destinations and I see they put NO tomato. I called to make a complaint. I asked for a general manager they said there's no general manager. I asked for a corporate number. The young lady stated she didn't know the corporate number. I asked for her name she said her name was Angelina. The girls were just in there talking and being a little Chismosas ... I guess they don't know the difference between NO tomato and EXTRA tomato. I would NOT recommend this jack in the box. Also, the sprinkler system sucks. While I was pulling out of the drive thru at 10:30 PM the sprinklers go all over your car. Thank goodness I didn't wash my car. I would not recommend this location of Jack in the Box. read more

Jack in the Box - Dry & horrible. A WASTE of $10!!!!! I said EXTRA tomato. They put NO tomato... - Fast Food Near Me - Sacramento, California

Between the subpar food and the very rude staff I feel like they should just close this location down all together

We tried to order food in the drive-thru and were told they're only open for DoorDash orders. This happened to us at another Jack In the Box location and, when I contacted the corporate office to leave a complaint, they told me that all locations should be open 24/7 to all customers. I contacted the corporate office and made a complaint against this location, too. Jack in the Box should not be advertising 24/7 service if they're not providing it. I'm going to call their corporate office on Monday, too, to follow up with my written complaints. I'm going to let them know that if I go to this place or another jack in the box location and they tell me they're closed, I'm going to contact the local news station and put Jack in the Box on blast for false advertisement. read more

If you're not going to staff accordingly, then you shouldn't even operate. Several drinks were out at your station, which should have been refilled overnight when there's ample time. I told the team member that the Diet Dr Pepper was out and all she didn't was nod her head. Probably didn't understand what I was saying. Poor customer service! So disappointed in these fast food companies that charge an arm and a leg now for their food only to have lower than low service. read more

Sooo, I decided to stop in after work cause my husband teased me with what he had for lunch. Apparently his boss bought everyone lunch except me, the nerve of that guy. Well I decided on this for lunch. Got their new bbq bacon double cheeseburger meal. It was 5.59, I upgraded to medium and came to 7.09. Why I always upgrade, I have no idea. Just seems appealing i guess. I did ask for regular frys but got season frys. I guess that's what I really wanted deep down anyways. I reach into the bag and grab a fry and get the curly seasoned ones instead. Tasted great so it's what my taste buds wanted more. The sandwich itself was pretty good. Easy up on the bbq sauce though. There was a lot oozing out. I got root beer for my drink. They have barqs root beer which is my favorite root beer. And it was on point. The lady at the window was smiley and bubbly. And did try to up sale an item. Kudos to her! Over all this place I come to is great. It is fast food categorized. You get what you pay for. read more

I read through all of the reviews and saw how generally low they were across the board for various reasons. This place is just average. I ordered an ultimate breakfast sandwich and it was okay. The take away for me is that I waited a very long time once I was at the window. It looked like they were in the middle of a shift change. I literally was at the window 8-10 minutes before being handed my sandwich and coffee. I used my atm card to purchase and did not get a receipt. I had to ask for it. They seem to be generally disorganized. The place did not appear to be very busy at the time. I likely will not stop in here again unless I am very hungry and pressed for time. Much better and focused service at chick fil a just down the street. Lack of orginazation is my general observation with the Jack-in-the-Box chain as a whole. read more

Wow to the crazy brunette girl working drive thru on sat night the 5th of January. I hope your boss see this and fires you. Were you intoxicated at work? We asked for the number 6 three times. We asked for a sprite three times. And your could not seem to understand the concept of ordering a meal? When we got our food we asked for the soda and told her we asked several times for the meal. Instead of apologizing and correcting her mistake she curses us out. And says we can leave without getting anything. I've never seen anyone act like that and I've worked in fast food when I was about your age little girl. Be sure I'll be calling your boss and cooperate to let them know what kind of night shift they have on madison. Come here if you want to get insulted by a crazy person!!! read more

We had the simplest order. We ordered two medium Coke zeroes, an order of mini tacos and one egg roll. Order cost a whopping $11. We didn't get the egg roll. One bag. We drove off. Didn't see the item was missing. Guess we have to micromanage even simple orders now. It's not rocket science, folks. If the order has been lengthy or difficult, I could maybe be more magnanimous. It was two items. Smh. Fail. read more

I pulled up at about 7:40pm. I started ordering and was told they can only sell finger foods as the person working the grill was on break. I advised to cancel my order, I don't eat fried food. I pull up to the window and asked for the store number. Liz refused to provide it to me. She advised if I want the store number I would have to buy something to get it on the receipt. Another girl approached the window and said if I want the store number I can Google it and closed the window on me. I shortly thereafter received a call from the district manager to go to the location down the street on Madison. I can assure you that the service down the street is much better and worth the drive. I couldn't be happier with the quality of food , and the customer service from this Jack in the Box. Even when they make mistakes (they are training some new servers) they are genuinely polite and friendly, and they always make it right. Wandering around in search of breakfast, Jack in the Box sounded as good as any other options nearby. I haven't had breakfast there in awhile anyway. I pulled into the drive-thru, perused the menu, ordered a meat lovers breakfast burrito combo with orange juice. The meal was ready pretty much as soon as my money was ready. Boom, gone. My needs are pretty simple when ordering breakfast at a drive-thru: - polite service - reasonable wait - don't screw up payment - don't screw up order - don't screw up food Check, check, check, check and check. Not much more to ask for! The hash browns were particularly good - done just right. Oh, I guess one minor issue. The OJ carton had a straw hole and they didn't give me a straw... so I had to open the top the "old school" way. Luckily I'm old enough to know how to do that. read more

This Jack and the box seriously is soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo slow I don't understand why. It's almost been 25 mins just in the line. It's mind blowing!! I'm so irritated, heads up if your in a hurry don't come here!! I asked why it takes so long once I got to the window, his excuse was the car that was in front of me added a combo meal to their order. Oh and when I got my food they gave me a soda 3/4 filled with no ice, lukewarm soda my favorite. they were out of ice?! I will never go to this location anymore!!! read more

The only reason I gave it one star cause I had to if there was a spot for zero I would put a zero. Awful service at the drive-through. Waited five minutes no answer at the speaker. Drove up to the window and place my order or try to place my order but that food service worker that doesn't like her job at 12:45 in the afternoon on a Thursday had a bad attitude. I said with that attitude I'll go somewhere else. Place is dirty and disgusting. Were you place your order at the speaker is falling apart. This must be a Francise. I almost NEVER file complaints against businesses I frequent but what happened to us last night was entirely unacceptable. We ordered through the drive thru. There was a male employee sweeping water on the driveway, probably cleaning it. Didn't think much of it at the time. We got to the window and paid our bill. The woman at the window asked us to park in one of the pick-up spots outside and they would bring the order out. When our order was ready she came out with our food. She was accompanied by another female employee. She handed us our bags and as she did so she asked my husband what he had said to the guy sweeping the drive. We looked at each other in confusion because we hadn't spoken a word to the guy. We told her this but she made it evident she didn't believe us. Meanwhile the other girl (the backup witness?} was punching something into her phone. What, calling the cops on two senior citizens who were customers and had not caused even the most minor of issues? Making a record of our vehicle license plate? It was highly unprofessional of your employees to confront us in this manner. Even if we HAD said anything about the guy (which we did NOT!!) it would have been best to have just ignored it and not come outside and started a potentially ugly scene. In my opinion that was the only stupid act during this episode. We left at that point. In retrospect we probably should have returned the food and asked for a refund. We were so upset over the incident this did not occur to us until we were almost home. The name on the receipt is Angelin and she was both the cashier and the person who confronted us. We have patronized this restaurant for many years but last nights' visit will be our last and may be our last for any Jack in the Box restaurant for quite some time. read more

I love the cookies and cream shake and the Bacon cheeseburger! -+ the fries are Great!!

Super disappointed in this Jack in the Box. I went with my bf to get some tacos and a mocha iced coffee. We usually absolutely love Jack's mocha iced coffee, even more than Starbucks. However, I am absolutely appalled to find that this coffee we ordered was SPOILED. It was SOUR. It wasn't even a subtle "whiff" or "tang". It was completely sour. Could not even taste any part of the mocha or coffee which indicates how sour it was. I honestly wish we hadn't drove off already because this is honestly one of the biggest health and safety issues I have ever experienced with a fast food restaurant in my life. There are some serious quality issues here that need to be addressed ASAP. Serving extremely spoiled coffee could honestly warrant a lawsuit. read more

This place is awful. The service, the food selection, etc. went to get my son and I some burgers on sat jan 15, 2022 @ 6pm They had no soda available, no tacos, the guy wouldn't honor my coupon even though it said "2 small combos" for $6. He said there wasn't a pic of two burgers on the coupon, I asked if there was a supervisor, he said, "no" I asked him if anyone else was there and he said " yes, but they don't speak English " I told him that was not my problem and he shrugged his shoulders. He finally gave me $3 credit, I paid, I asked for a receipt, he gave me my food and shut the window. He bagged the next person's order finally opening the window and I ask for a receipt and ketchup. He gave me the ketchup and said no receipt available. I asked "why?" He said because there's no machine. I said "well how do i know what I spent,?" he said because "I told you" I said that "that was the worse fuckin place ever," and he said "don't fuckin eat here" Wow! So my bf and I came here this morning for roost fries and the chocolate croissant bites. The lady Maria working the window kept asking us a question that we didn't understand because her accent was VERY thick and my bf kept saying "I'm sorry I don't understand you" and she was very rude and getting aggressive with him asking "3 or 6" and we finally understood her after the 5th time which we said 3 and then she proceeded to say which I'm assuming she thought her mic was off in a very rude and sassy manner "Ugh whatever!"
