It was also the only company to communicate the 10 day waiting period until they obtained an L&I permit to abate or mention the need to get a permit. Dealing with asbestos you can't be too careful. The team arrived early on the scheduled day, secured the area and removed every last tile in about 1/2 a day. They did a great job at a competitive price. Make sure you check L&I for violations because some of the other companies I considered had major documented health violations related to asbestos removal. This company did not.

Work was done on schedule and very carefully, cleanup inside and outside the house each day was thorough. And Mike was extremely helpful with his onsite estimate. AEC was the only estimator we talked to who told us about the ZAI Trust, which processes claims for residential asbestos insulation removal and re-insulating costs if material tests positive for their product. That's a big deal. Would recommend AEC services without hesitation.

I hired R&J to replace a rotted sill plate and remove a portion of concrete walkway and door step…read more(which was trapping moisture against the front wall and rotting the exterior sill and joist). After removing the concrete, replacing the rotted wood, he built us a small deck area which gives us larger lateral space as a door step compared to the small concrete step. A marked improvement over just the moisture fix and rot repair. This was a pretty significant job and our home is very unique in structure which created many challenges. As a homeowner invested in a major renovation project, I had some pedantic requirements and Jorge was empathetic to all of them. The work was permitted and passed inspection with king county.

All the prep was complete then he came to me requesting a change order for 50% more as the piece he had was not going to be large enough to fill the area. I was shocked and did not agree to it. He ended up using (3) pieces of turf which do not match up. There are (2) visible seams and 6 months after completion, it is rippling as I am guessing they did not secure it well enough. I have given him the opportunity to fix it but he is not going to do that. I would DEFINITELY not recommend this company.

Make sure to get everything in writing because Adrian forgets what was discussed. He then wants to do the "additional" work for extra $$ or, he threatens to just stop and walk away. First time I agreed, second time I told him to start walking. Adrian lies about his experience. After 6 hours on the job, he admits he has only done 1 other inside French drain. He has no clue what needs to be done. Neither does he know what a good mudding/sheetrock job is. To top it off, Adrian wrecked my black asphalt driveway that was sealed only 9 months ago. He dumped a pile of dirt on my property and dragged cement and mud that of course cannot be removed.
