Ordered a PPE pan with brushed finish. They sent the wrong one. No problem but I really wanted the correct color. Asked for an exchange and they want me to pay the shipping back for their mistake. I ordered a transfer case. It arrived and fit. The trouble came when it was time for them to pick up the core. I received multiple, repetive emails requesting the same info each time. I emailed my info multiple times, but eventually realized that they had no intention of paying my $600 core return. Now I am forced to either retain counsel, or eat my $600 core return. What a rip-off! Their website is designed to be cumbersome and circular so that eventually you just give up attempting to contact them, very similar to dealing with an insurance company or a goverment agency. I reviewed earlier regarding my bumper purchase. After multiple delays and lame excuses, I was sure I had been scammed by XDP. After posting my review, I was contacted by a very courteous rep of XDP. She explained the delay as it was explained to her. Although the explanation didn't make any sense. I was promised delivery the next week and so on. XDP blamed Hammer Head. Hammer Head stayed silent. My bumper arrived last week. Meaning, I was not scammed. Bumper looks good in the box. As I have not tried to fit it onto my truck. That will happen tomorrow. Now that I have the bumper one might ask why only 2 stars. I believe it is intentionally misleading to prevent customers from posting all reviews on the seller website. The failure to post all reviews also means the XDP wants to continue to struggle with developing customer relations/service. in my opinion, customers are better off buying direct from the manufacturer. Xdp First time customer , ordered crankshaft pin kit for my Duramax . $159 part takes 4 days to deliver. When it arrived one side was rusted . So when I talked to customer service I emailed a pic and was asked how I thought it got there , To me a made in America machined tool new in box shouldn't come rusted . Was offered to be sent replacement once they receive original, however having my truck not make any $ for another week and a half and still possibly not get a clean tool . Was offered 10% off so I'll keep my brand new rusty xdp tool and saved $17.35 . So that's what made in America is all about to this company. I purchased a XDP starter for my 2011 ram 2500 6.7L Cummins. Ordering the part was no problem went smoothly and got the part extremely fast. Fast forward a few months and part went out(sometime parts just go out faster than others). I contacted customer service and WOW! I was responded to everytime within a reasonable amount of time, and worked with the same person each time which is always helpful. Had the new part within two days which was covered under warranty. Customer service in my opinion has declined across all retailers in the past 5 years. XDP hasn't been been one of those companies and I will definitely be shopping for additional parts thru them. Recently had to purchase some miscellaneous parts and was referred to this site from a friend even though not listed on the website they stock parts for all makes and models not just diesel I had to order some brake parts for my Dodge and went to the local supply house autozone O'Reilly's excetera then also tried rock auto.com which I have found to have the best price normally and return policy of 30 days which is great XDP wound up beating rock autos price which is unheard of and ship the entire order for free the individual handling my order Allen was extremely courteous and excellent with follow-through contacting me about my order I wish I could buy the guy a beer. Ordered a set of Russell Performance braided brake hoses from XDP received them on time and waited a few weeks to install. Hoses were on my truck for a total of seven days then one blew out at the crimped connection for the front brake caliper. I contacted XDP who told me it would be easier to call Russell Performance directly. I did that and they refused to warranty it telling me if they didn't fail "immediately" as they were installed they would not be warrantied. I contacted XDP again to tell them what I was told and hope they could help as I did purchase them through XDP. XDP customer service told me that they would not help and I would have to take that up with Russell Performance you would think the distributor would be willing to help out their customers when a product fails. I would be cautious about purchasing through them as they don't seem to be willing to help with product issues and would also stay away from Russell Performance brake hoses as they don't warranty them. read more

Extremely disappointed with XDP. They sold me a BD transmission cooler without the kit to install it. It arrived with bent fins in the radiator, but it was minor. When I found out I cannot use the cooler without the installation kit I sent the product back to XDP in the original packaging and added a new outer shipping container per their instructions. A few more fins were bent in transit and I was told my money would not be refunded. After not receiving a refund, XDP did not ship me back the transmission cooler. They kept my money and the "damaged product." After multiple phone calls and emails I am being told they will finally put the product that I paid for in the mail. But it has been a 2 month process so I am not holding my breath... There are a lot better diesel parts distributors out there. I highly recommend US Diesel Products out of Montana. They are incredibly helpful and easy to deal with. XDP seems like a large corporation - they don't care about you or your truck. read more

Unfortunately had a bad experience with XDP made my order 12/1 was told my order would be to my house before Christmas 12/25 and now mid January was just told I won't see it till middle of February blaming it on the company who build the product and with race season starting in March I cannot wait any longer. They were happy to cancel my order and seamed to be bothered when I asked why they have conflicting delivery dates and when I called the company that built the twin kit and turbo they said if I order today(Wednesday) it will ship out Friday and now I am waiting for money to return to my account so I can deal directly with the manufacturer. The kit has worked out perfect.The real reason for my motivation to write this review is that if you run into a problem with this company whatsoever , they will go to an unseen level to find out what the issue was and resolve it in the most professional manner I have ever seen from any company alike. Dealing with customer service is difficult. Mostly they don't answer the phone, and I called back about 4 times to speak with someone regarding my package. Either they had no idea and it was "in transit" or they had to contact UPS to find out what was going on. I felt like I was going in circles when I was finally able to get a rep on the phone. I dealt with someone who seemed rude and not very helpful, I believe by the name of Justin. I had difficulties communicating with him and felt I was already being extremely clear. I called back later and spoke to another rep, who seemed to be more helpful, and I finally received my package a few days later- with the wrong part. I give up!!! Very dishonest advertising. Called in to price match(since I already spent 2K+ on parts), which they claim to beat anyone's price by 5 dollars. Long story short they would not do it. Do not try to price match, they will not honor their policies. This quote was from a reputable off-road company that is an authorized dealer and met all of the criteria below. Horrendous service and they cost me $3,000-$3,500 minimum and an upset customer. Part showed up a day later than they promised even though I paid for expedited shipping, when the part got here it was wrong. Tied up a bay for 4 days and then I had to end up driving over 2 hours and pay more money at another place to get the right part, that being said I did not even factor that monies into what I stated about that I lost. Have an upset technician because of it also then I call them and ask for a manager to call back, nothing! I send them an email, nothing! Try calling customer service and they are close BUT imagine that their sales department is open and they say "sorry, we have been asking them to keep customer service open also as it causes us problems too, sorry nothing I can do to help you."
