Theses guys know their business. I have a no name fiberglass cap called Camplite. It's a perfect fit and color match for my truck but I could never lock the glass. I also needed new pistons and a tail light. Not only did they go out of their way to find me a perfect replacement lock set. They installed my glass pistons for free and gave me instruction on how to replace the lock and tail light. The glass door wasn't latching all the way down, two of the guys came out and showed me how to adjust the latches. All of this shows that these guys will go above and beyond. If anyone I know have a need to fix or replace their cap or cover I will happily recommend Suburban Truck Caps. read more

I recently purchased a hitch and a bike rack from Suburban Caps. The service was excellent, they ordered the parts and within a few days it was received and installed. Unfortunately, after I got home I realized that the rack that I chose wouldn't fit the type of bike that I had. I called them back and explained my situation and they worked with me to find a more suitable replacement. It was ordered and installed the next day and it works great! I purchased a piece for truck here yesterday and they forgot to give me the covers that go to the piece. I live about an hour and a half away so I decided to give them a call so they could ship me the pieces. The young man who helped me yesterday insured me that if I ever needed anything for my truck that I could always give them a call to have parts shipped since I live quite far. That being said I figured it would be no problem to have the pieces they forgot to include shipped to me. I called and a gentleman picked up. I nicely explained the situation and he replied " You don't really need those pieces". He was absolutely correct since the covers are actually just used to cover a screw so that it is not seen. I explained that although he feels I don't need them I would like to have them. I asked if they could be sent to me and I would be glad to pay the shipping. He told me that they do not ship anything. I thanked him for his help and hung up although I was not pleased. I then decided I should speak with a manager and called back a woman picked up and sounded extremely bothered screaming "HELLO". I said hi and explained the situation hoping she would ship the pieces. She replied " I'm not shipping anything"! ..."We don't owe you anything"! ..I'm with a customer and you keep calling here! ( I guess I wasn't a customer anymore ). After this I couldn't be nice anymore which I was surprised I had been so far during this unnecessary long drawn out experience. I said "listen this is not how you ..... hello" ???? She had hung up on me. I called back again now determined to receive my pieces and kill them with kindness. The young man picked up.. I asked him to tell me the position of the person I was speaking to. He said "she's the boss". Hard to believe but ok. "Young man like I said before I live really far and I just need these pieces shipped I don't think that's much to do for a paying customer" He took my address and my cc info and promised the pieces would be shipped. All of that for nothing Needless to say I will never bring my business here again. Me being a customer service rep myself I can't seem to understand what happen here. I wouldn't even treat a rude customer this way let alone one as nice as myself...Now I won't hold my breath while I wait on this package read more
